Super nice guy who explained the process to me (I know nothing about concrete). He explained to me that he had a good amount of worked lined up and it would take up to 6 weeks to get to my driveway. We were in no rush so I agree that the wait wouldn't be an issue. A couple weeks early Danny called us and said he was caught up and would like to get our project done. His crew came out, (I think he works with his son) and they were able to tear out the old driveway and frame up the new one in a day. The next day they poured the new driveway. It's still a major repair that needs immediate attention. It's better to do it, sooner than, later. My house has only a partial basement, the majority of it is finished crawl space. I have a laundry room upstairs, so all that is in my basement is the furnace and extensive shelving units for storage. With that being stated, I rarely have any need to go down into my basement. When I did venture down after one of the early spring down pours, I discovered I had an issue. It wasn't major, but I wanted it fixed before it became one. Again, being new to the RIverbend area, I reached out to friends and family for recommendations. Everyone of them said the same thing, "Midwest Basement". So it was a no-brainer on calling them to do the job. They came and gave me an estimate, explained what they would be doing and told me what I needed to move to make the work area more accessible. When scheduling a time, they were accommodating to my unique work schedule. Best of all, it was a smooth job and they completed the job faster and easier than anticipated. I could not have been happier with the work team. They were all very professional, friendly and respectful of my property. Their clean-up at the end of each day was impressive in itself. The weather has been dry since my work was completed, so I'm waiting for the next rain to really check things out.
