Brian and Jenny are the best! The salon is clean, the quality of work is amazing. No matter how busy they are they always do a great job.

Don't make an appointment at this salon. They will accept your appointment, but then not honor it. They don't inform you that certain days they are too busy to take appointments when you call. What made things worse is that the owners didn't even acknowledge this or apologize. Or at end say 'thanks for your business.' We had a wedding same day -- appointment time mattered. We always want to support our local businesses, but we also want to give it to businesses that appreciate and treat customers properly. This salon is not that. The unfortunate attitude of the owners doesn't apply to the women who work there doing nails. read more

They do the bare minimum for a manicure. I had to ask for another coat on my nails because you could see streaks and through the light pink color. Didn't do anything to my cuticles, no hand or arm basic massage, no base coat (only polish and top coat), and they didn't even clean up the polish that made it onto my fingers (other places I've gone use a little brush at the end with nail polish remover to clean it up). Plus, I brought my own Essie gel polish AND they still charged me an extra $3 for using that polish even when I said I brought it from home! Would not recommend. read more

I never write reviews, but I am here only to write a horrendous review about Jennifer, who I believe is the manager. I'm putting 1 star to JENNIFER ONLY, the salon itself is nice and the rest of staff. But I usually make sure I don't get her when I go in and mind you I've been going here for like 10 plus years and everyone else is SO talented and amazing! but Jen, absolutely terrible. She rushes and cuts you several times, nails are lumpy and bumpy, she's on the phone, up out of her seat, running around etc. No attention is on your nails or you the client. By no means a relaxing experience. I got my nails done last week, french powder gel - ok that takes a little more time usually than your typical color powder. Well, Jen was finished with my nails well before the woman next to me, who was getting a gel manicure and had already had her previous manicure soaked off when Jen had started soaking off mine! She did my nails in 20-30 minutes tops. That'd be fantastic if they looked good and lasted, but NOPE. Long story short, she didn't prep my nails AT ALL, had old powder gel still in corners, and here I am 6 days later with one of my nails completely off, the rest are peeling up/air under them, cracking, and just look like complete garbage. It's so upsetting I paid for these and now have to go get them redone. I had to tell her several times to reshape my nails because they were so wide and bumpy. She just cares about getting the next person in her chair ($$$). I could say more but will refrain. read more

Dirty nail salon. Workers are always nasty. I had my nails done a few times there and each time it was gel. The last time I went the tech told me that gel takes too long and she would understand if I'm in a rush. I never said I was in a rush? And if I was why would I ask for gel? Also watch out for the autoclave packs that sterilize the nail instruments. They only put them in the packs but never sterilize them. I only know this because I work in the medical field and those sterilization packs have 2 indicators that show if it's sterile. Each one that I have seen there are never sterile. Also I attached a screen shot from another customer getting an infection from this place. I'm not sure if it's true, but I definitely am not surprised. Gross. read more

I went to JJen as a referral and as a group of friends were all going together. I was impressed how efficient they were. Everyone was taking precautions and the place is always clean. I never have any issues with my nails getting infected or popping off. They always look great and I always get compliments on my nails. Everyone has done my nails there but their massages are the best yet. They get my body aligned and muscle aches and pains are gone ....AMAZING!!! I LOVE NAIL LOVE! read more

Went for a fill in. Didnt last one week, one nail starting peeling off and went back they decided to glue it while I was standing up and it fell off in two days. Place is very beautiful, brand new. The owners do a wonderful job but the rest of the staff I feel as if they are slacking, especially when it comes to cleanliness and roughness. Worst nail salon. The employees are not only rude but bad at what they do. It was close to closing time so they filed my thumb nail and index finger nail of both hands and then went to paint the nails. The first problem with that was ALL my nails were now UNEVEN lengths and I asked for powder dip not regular polish ( the nail polish color I didn't even pick out). When I asked for someone with more experience to fix the nails the next employee was rude, rough, sloppy, told me I was wrong, and filed my nails even until they reached the skin and my skin started bleeding as a result of her filing my skin... the saying "the customer is always right" does not apply here, neither does common curtesy, or and all the lack any skill! read more

I've been going to nail love for about 8 months.. I've wanted to go to elsewhere a few times.. but it's convenient. However, after today... after 8 months, no smile of recognition. Disappointed The quality of gel manicures differs. The past 2 times, I had to ASK to have my cuticles attended to. That doesn't seem right.. Very factory like.. in and OUT! . Today, As i looked around.. Place is filthy. Garbage pails were gross, bottles on tables are dirty.. the walls behind the girl's tables are all mark c up. Add it to the list of terrible nail salons in Moriches! It was the quickest pedi I've ever had. I don't need to pay for someone to paint my nails. I go for a pedicure to get a nice soothing soak, have my nails cleaned and shaped, a good scrub to soften my feet, and a relaxing massage. This was none of that! I would say that maybe I just got the wrong person, but TWO people came in and sat down at the same tine as me and they had the same treatment. I will not go back. April, 2018. I would like to add that, now years later tried this nail place again and was just as disappointed as the first visit. Judy did my powder dip nails and they came out so bad I went somewhere else to have them taken off 6 days later. She was rude when I asked her to make them thinner and a different shape. I USED to love this place!! When I first started going there they did a great job and good prices. The last few times I went I had noticed the services declining. Well yesterday was the final straw! I WILL never go there again. Went in for a pedicure and gel manicure. The pedicure lasted all of 10 minutes! Then I was getting my manicure as she finished the first coat of polish I realized that she never cleaned up my cuticles! So basically I paid $25 for her to polish my nails. I used to love coming here. But the last few times, it was more stress than anything else. They were cleaning as my nails were getting done, they didn't close for another hour. Sweeping and throwing out garbage, making me feel like I was keeping them there. Then the most recent time the girl I had continued to rip my nails up! Cutting and ripping, "oh that hurt?" My friend who was getting her toes done next to me, the girl doing hers actually broke my friends anklet while rubbing down her legs. It's not worth coming there. I would get airbrush french and the gel on top, and after a few days the white french and gel would chip off. It happened about 6 times in a row when I finally decided to go somewhere else. Been coming here for months and seeing Jennifer for powder dip manicures, last 2 or 3 times I've come with an appointment she's had other people in the chair or taken them before me after patiently waiting for my turn to run hours late. Then be rushed thru when my turn finally does come because other people who then walk in after myself and are waiting. Also after doing my nails for 6-8 months now you'd think you would have an understand with the nail tech as far as what you like and dislike I like the natural shape of my nails and not too much filing and have had to express that every single time without fail the last 2x the shape of my nails was changed to what she typically does I guess which is not what I like but because she used the electric machine to shape them it's been too late both times to have them shaped to my liking so I suck it up and dealt with it now today this last time going I mentioned 3x about the vigorous filing and how I didn't not want that yet somehow she managed to do it yet again!! Super disappointed and will absolutely not be returning again if you're paying for a service it should be what you ask if the professional preforming that service not just for them to rush and do what they want poor poor customer service totally dissatisfied and will be finding a new place to go have my nails re-done and pay all over tomorrow!!! read more

I started coming here almost 3 years ago when I first moved to the area. In the beginning I was always satisfied with my visit however, over the last year this salon has gotten more and more unpleasant. Today did it for me. I went in for a basic pedicure, made an appointment ahead of time and still waited 20 minutes past my scheduled time. They raised their prices, as many businesses did after reopening from Covid, no big deal. What really bothered me was when I went up to pay, they charged me $3 more than what was listed as the new, already higher, pedicure price. I questioned them and the owner replied that the polish I used was extra. I grabbed a plain white polish from the stand that all of the other polish was on. There wasn't a sign saying one was more than the other, and I was never told that it cost more until I went up to pay. It's not the $3 that is a big deal, it's the sneaky way of charging customers more. There are many other nail salons in the area that I will be trying instead. read more
