I don't see how there are so many positive reviews. The bathroom smelled like stale cigarettes. The women who did my nails was on her phone the whole time, normally I never care about stuff like that but due to the quality, I'm really upset. $75 for pedicure which I immediately took off when I went home and the powder dip was terrible. I feel like the owner has a nail tech or family member working there that not licensed. I called to complain and asked to speak with Beatrice and told her I was unhappy. I appreciate that she offered to fix the situation but I already spent an hour and a half there and I had no time to go back. I am telling you, even if you are desperate don't go here, your better off doing your own nails. read more

I had the BEST experience at Maggie's nail salon. She was accommodating, kind, friendly, and did a wonderful job on my nails. I felt so relaxed after rushing around and getting snubbed at a nail salon I actually had an appointment for. She took me in and did a fabulous job. Always get my pedicures here now. Best in the area. Ladies are friendly and kind. Calm environment, very clean. Yes, sterilized tools come out of a package. Gloria gave me a GREAT pedicure last time. I received a very uneven French manicure that looked nothing like the photo I showed, which they assured me they could do. I got in at 3:25 & left at 5:45 because the women were all speaking with one another & I was left to sit for 10 minute intervals multiple times. I've come here multiple times and had ok experiences (returned because of low prices) but will not be returning after this manicure. read more

This is such a great place to get your nails done! I went for the first time a week and a half ago for a mani pedi and it did not disappoint. The staff is kind and welcoming. The environment is clean and calm. Their work is great and you even get a paraffin hand treatment + a little back massage. My nails also lasted a while. Its nice to walk into a local business and be greeted warmly (unlike a few others in area where you get the feeling they are doing you a favor) I found the salon nice clean. Also the nail techs there are experienced. Being a former nail tech, I saw they followed sanitization protocalls. Very happy with the 4 X I have been there and services had thus far. Powder gel manicure came out great. They also include a paraffin dip and neck/ back massage in there manicures, most places charge extra. At first I was liking this place. Then I noticed I started get poor quality time after time. 1. Math was wrong on the charges for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Sign is not updated properly on the wall. And when I told them the math was off , the looks was not needed. 2. My pedicure was horrible. Rubbing of my feet wasn't even a rub. My two year old could rub my feet better. I'm not trying to be picky but seriously was not even a service. Also, they cut so fat down your side of your toes, you aren't supposed to cut them. Not everyone gets in grown. Now I had to go to pediatrist because it hurts when wearing shoes. 3. My gel manicure only lasts max of two weeks I noticed. Why is that? So I paid extra close attention. The coats of nail polish are paper thin. And top coat, was not even re-dipping the brush and applying nothing. So when I told them, you need to put on a normal amount of top coat they wanted to upcharge me. Absolutely not I told them!!! Scam!!! I'm a great tipper. A loyal patron. But hell hath no furry like a scorned women. Don't do this to people. Plus, when people are in your chair -- interact with them. I know Spanish and don't appreciate being spoken about. This is the best local manicure I've had in months! They are clean. Nice massage chairs for pedicures too. My shellac/gel manicure lasted 2 weeks and that's even after going to an indoor water park! The ladies are really sweet too! Check them out! read more

I chose BM from review I had seen on Google. The manicurist was nice enough - Maggie. I liked the service as far as friendliness and she did a good job on my cuticles and i did like the way she shaped my nails. What i did not like was that she did not open a sterilized package of tools. it was in the blue plastic/paper envelope but clearly had been used before. And the filing stone (like an emory board) she used on my nails was also something she seemed to use on all customers. Google review said the others chose it and liked how clean the place was but this is a major no-no and I was not comfortable with the unsterilized tools. It makes me wonder what else is not cleaned there. the place did not smell of any acetone or chemicals so that was a plus but as for the tools - major problem. If I am wrong, I will gladly return. I should have said something at that point but I didn't. I won't make the same mistake. read more

I tried this nail salon for the first time yesterday and left highly impressed. The salon staff was very welcoming and the result of my powder gel was the best I have had in a very long time! I tried this place as my last attempt at finding local salon that could do my nails well (I recently moved). I went in thinking it would be my last try before just driving the distance to go back to my old salon in Mattituck. I'm so glad I gave it a chance! Excellent service and very clean. My nails always come out perfect. Truly the best pedicure in town. The pervious review is not correct --- I watched her take all of the tools out of the sterilizer. Definitely the cleanest nail salon in town with the best service. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!! read more
