This was my first time here, I usually get my nails done in Visalia or Tulare and I felt like they were trying upsell me every step. The lady was wanting me to add a design, I politely declined. Then she asked what length, I said short and said I wanted a coffin nail. She said I couldn't do a short coffin because it has to be med length to look good. So I said fine even though I got them done the way I wanted at so many other places. Then to top it off, they don't even have a coffin tip, they look square and are longer than I like. It was $70 for a full set which is more than I usually pay so I'm not sure if it was more because of the length? He also drilled onto my cuticles which hurt and wrecks them. Visited this area during my break and I finally got my nail fixed and waxed in! The owners remembered me and asked me about my dog and life updates. It's nice to come get your nails done when the owners actually care and remember their clients. There was a bit of a wait when I came in, but it didn't matter. Did a walk in and was greeted by a lovely couple, Peter & Tiffany. They are a mom and pop nail salon. They are also new owners of this salon so don't let the old reviews fool you! I came in for a pedicure and gel nails service. Tiffany seated me down immediately and started my pedicure. I'm very happy with this service and will be back with my mom and friends next month! Salon is very clean compared to others in the area. It's also located in downtown which is convenient for me. Stop by if you want quality service by this lovely couple. The man who did my nails was not very gentle. I kept having to jerk my hand back because his drill was burning me. He filed very aggressively and the shaping isnt great.. I'll save the time and money & go somewhere more reputable. I asked for a base pink with top coat & one nail on each hand to have painted flowers. Worst nail experience I've ever had. I asked for a gel mani but was pushed to get dip (promised it would last longer) only for it to chip off a couple days later. The tech didn't touch my cuticles which was a blessing because I saw him pick up a tool from a container labeled "SOILED" (or Used). There was a language barrier so he wouldn't answer my questions or understand my request. I refused to continue services and left to get a pedi elsewhere. I was also charged $50 for the dip, no frills. Lastly, the tech had a strong cigarette smell on them. Couldn't swallow my coffee due to the odor. Reply to Owner: I did ask about my cuticles 2x and the tech unfortunately couldn't understand me so I didn't get that service even if it did cost extra. Regarding the tool, my observation is correct about the tool being dirty because I was shocked when I read the label. However, you're correct about the ashtray comment not being nice. I've changed the wording. Also, I couldn't get my nails fix because I was on holiday which was the reason for my visit. I asked for a gel manicure (debated even) and you stated multiple times that "Dip last longer. It's better." I took the advice and was disappointed. read more

I was just there this morning and from the moment I walked in I was treated badly by the owner Diane who greeted me with dirty looks while asking what I needed. I asked for a gel pedi and was rudely told to sit down. I was told to chose my colors from the gel selection and did. He completed the pedi part and I asked him to shorten my nails to which he replied he couldn't. I assured him he could and I wanted them shorter, his wife and he start taking in their language and she rudely tells me she will do it, I say okay and patiently wait while she finished her previous client. She then lectures me about cutting my nails shorter and I assure her I want them shorter and she then tells me she's gonna make them bleed n asks me if I want bloody toes!! Of course I tell her no but I do want them shorter and she proceeds to trim them without any blood dropped! She then begins to paint my toes a MUCH lighter color than I had chose and I tell her that that was not the color I had chosen and she very angrily goes and gets a non gel polish and begins to proceed. I asked her if this was gel polished to which she lied and told me it was. I told her I've had gel pedi's before several times and I knew that was NOT gel polish and she continued to lie. I got up and said I'm leaving, told her she'd been rude to me from the moment I walked in and I wasn't going to continue to do business with her. If I could give her a negative I would. I plan to report her to the board. These people need to step up their game. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! And yes I paid $25 for the pedi but I will never return. read more
