I am extremely disturbed by what happened during our recent visit. While the technician appeared friendly at first, it became clear that something inappropriate was going on. Once I was briefly separated from my daughter, the technician approached her privately and tried to recruit her into what can only be described as a pyramid scheme. My daughter is a beautiful, innocent young woman, and she was completely unprepared to handle that kind of pressure. As a parent, I felt deeply uncomfortable -- the situation had undertones that were not only predatory but alarmingly close to what I would associate with grooming or trafficking tactics. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and dangerous. Needless to say, we will *not* be returning, and I strongly urge others -- especially those bringing young women -- to exercise extreme caution. If management is unaware of this behavior, I hope this serves as a wake-up call. And if they *are* aware, then this place has no business operating. read more

I have been to this location before and have had no problems. But this time was very different and horrible. I went in for a Brazilian wax and came out with a burnt cookie, literally! The woman doing the waxing had me in so much pain I had to ask her to twice Stop and I finally told her I didn't want her to finish. She apologized and got another woman to finish. The other woman Apologized profusely and finished the job. My skin was red and blistered, two days later my skin started peeling in a very sensitive area. This will definitely be the Last time I ever visit this place. read more

I had called in advanced for an appointment for a gel manicure and requested Jen or tony. I got there and got some guy who wasn't tony and then he ended up leaving and I got some girl who wasn't Jen. I told them I had an appointment for gel manicure and they ended up just painting my nails w/ gel nail polish. They didn't file my nails down and the nails themselves were sloppy; they didn't go to my nail bend on some of my nails. As you can see in the photos. Also, the gel nail dryer machine was dirty and then it stopped working so I had to get moved to another station. I will not be coming here again. read more

I had a pedicure done by Carol very basic . she was lazy she did not clean underneath the toenails or in the corners. And then I had a manicure done by Tina I couldn't possibly think it was worse but it was lazy and horrible. The clear polish is on the tip of my fingers she never gave me a massage on the hands or the arms and she cut me on the very first finger when filing my nails. And the place itself is dirty I would not recommend it. I gave it a two rating because they know how to do it they just don't want to do it. read more

I went to try one of their packages and a small Asian man with a thick hair combed to the back/side, using a gel lamp with the name Kent on it, tended to me. I chose the $30 package w/ gel (additional $10).. He did a HORRIBLE job. He did not cut any of the dead skin next to my nail, which is the main reason I get pedicures and when I asked if they cut the dead skin off he said "yes we do" but on this occasion, that was not case. He totally disregarded cleaning under may nail when I obviously needed it. COME ON MAAAN! These are fundamentals of a proper pedicure and He rushed through the pedicure because there were clients waiting. This pedi was definitely not worth the $40 because Kent really sucked. I might come back and have one of the ladies do a pedi to see if there is any improvement and because I would like to try the $40 package. read more

So I walked in and asked for A pedicure the gentleman handed me the menu there was a $35 $45 & $55 I Picked the $45 came with a lil more. The gentleman was speaking amongst his coworkers and I heard him in his language say which one I had picked and they all laughed I picked a color he did my nails he rushed through the job left my feet rough I still have roughness on my heels . I didn't notice because he left my feet wet he didn't dry them off when I went to pay they charged me for the $55 service I told her I picked a $45 one. She then said it was $10 for the paint. During my pedicure that's when it hit me when they were speaking in their language I over heard him say volcano and they laughed well the volcano is the $55 pedicure. If you want to get taken advantage of and talked about & Sorry @$$ service this is your place! I Wont ever go back!! The service was definitely not worth the $55 and the $2 Tip I left after I was charged. I still left that man a tip. Thumbs service. read more

This set of nails costed me 45 bucks! Do I think it was worth it??!!! No I do not. For one, the only time I was talked to was to see what color I wanted. Also, she was going back and forth from me to a girl sitting right next to me. I understand she was trying to make as much money as possible but I usto go to a nail place in dinuba and she gave me way better service and we were able to keep a good conversation. The reason I do not go to that place anymore is because I now live in Tulare but I would make the drive just to get my nails done the way I like and for a really good price. read more

Visiting from out of town and sort of surprised the stars aren't higher here. So friendly and I love loved how gentle they were with my pedicure which is perfect for my sore feet with fibromyalgia and Achilles tendonitis which they didn't know I had and usually I have to ask for someone to be more gentle. I had the romance pedicure and loved the apricot and light mint blue gel they used. My pedicurist was quiet and I didn't hear his name but very thorough and I was relaxed. I didn't do a manicure this time but will definitely be back. It's clean and chairs are comfortable. Lots of polish colors for both regular and gel. There isn't a sign on top of building and Yelp map took me to front park of parking lot they are in the back strip mall part. Look for address. Tony didn't do my pedicure but I heard him with several customers very thorough and friendly and he help me navigate to the store including walking outside on his phone to help me navigate to find their location with landmarks. Yelp took me to corner by Dennys they are in same parking lot back behind. Several regulars came in while I was there and everyone seemed satisfied and happy. read more

Today I treated my grandmother to a pedicure and chose Glamour Nail & Spa. I'm so glad we did. Tony did my grandmother's pedicure and she absolutely loved not only the great service but the conversation. Everything was clean, prices were reasonable, customer service was on point! I would definitely come back! I'm back nearly two years later (I live in the Bay Area) and I was pleased to find Lily, who did an ABSOLUTELY perfect job on my gel manicure. She was so thorough! Came here with a friend today. It's nice that they are open until 7:30, and it seemed pretty clean and well-ventilated inside. We had an appointment and they seated us promptly, but then took 2 walk-in manicures while we sat soaking our feet for 25 minutes. Nail polishes were all watery (seemed full of acetone), and the guy who did my mani-pedi forgot to scrub my left foot, missed cleaning under my nails until I asked, and forgot to put a top coat on my nails (I had to ask one of the other women working). Both my friend and I received a leg rub as part of the pedicure; where the woman working with her applied pressure, the man working with me barely touched my skin. Next time I'm visiting my friend, we'll try somewhere else. read more

This review is long over due. I was recommended to this location by my friend she gets her nails done here all the time I decided to switch it up from my normal Kim's in Tulare. I asked for a pedicure and she a lady sat me right away. I asked for an acrylic on my toe and she gave me the worst stare and told me to hold on and when to someone and talked and laughed and they both looked at me and what made it worse is the other workers started to stare at me. It doesn't take a genius to know when someone is making fun of you in another language. It was quiet uncomfortable for me. She proceeded to do my pedicure she didn't even clean between my nails like I wear black socks there is lint and it's there and she didn't clean it. It was such a horrible experience I would rather wait 2 hrs somewhere else then come back. read more

Update: It has been over a year since my first visit and review of Glamour nails. I continue to get my nails done every two weeks at their Salon. They are always friendly. Rarely do I have to wait when I walk in. Everyone continues to be extremely friendly at every visit. Love Glamour Nails. Still highly recommend them! Was not happy.. Miscommunication between the workers.. My pedicure lady .. I asked for gel.. They gave me regular.. My paint and file was not pretty.. She was nice and took her time on me.. But my paint .. You can see the overlapping puddle .. A guy did my gel polish for my finger nails and got it all over my finger.. I had to pull it off.. The lady tried to help and it felt like it was ripping my skin off.. Negative! My aunt, her manicure guy ripped skin on 4/5 of her left hand.. It was burning and hurting and still in pain. Was not a fan, came for convenience, we are from out of town and I would never recommend this place. It was by our hotel. Good thing is they don't talk much so you know they are not talking crap.. The worst nail salon, they cut me 3 times with a dirty disinfected drill. Nails are all crooked and uneven and all over my cuticle. He was very rude at table 2 on June 8th. These ppll need to learn that we are paying them to give us what we want...not what they want to give us which us a fast shitty job. The same ppl sitting in cold pedicure water . I say if they have 10 chairs, they need 10 techs. I will be contacting the health department to make sure they steralize all of thier tools. Unsanitary at its finesse.went to get a pedicure and manicure and left with regreat.the pedicure was not wrapped with plastic nor cleaned after.the tools were very extremely dirty.the pedicure it self was okay.but after asking for my nails to be shorter the man got upset.after I went to get my full set of acrylics with the same man.i needed my nails to be short but got upset every time I would ask for them to be shorten.he added acrylic after I asked to be shorter,he proceeded with a full speed drill and started shaving them down to the length I wanted which was very pain ful. Forget all the old reviews this place is under new ownership and is AHMAZING!! Jenny and Tony are skilled at their craft and their customer service leaves nothing to be desired. This is a full service shop with nail technicians, pedicure booths and waxing! I have been a devoted customer of the owners for over five years and I recommend them to everyone I know (unless I don't like you haha!) Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! If there is something you don't like tell them. The owners will fix it. I read some recent reviews on here saying people left unsatisfied but if you don't state your preference how will the nail technician know. English is not their first language so sometimes you have to explain a couple times or talk to Jenny but it's worth it to walk out happy! read more

I really hate to write this review because I did like the shop but unfortunately it was the worst gel manicure I have had. Background: I travel in an RV across the country so during the hot summer months in Palm Springs where I live I could end up anywhere looking for a manicurist to keep my hands and toes looking pretty. This day I walked in to Glamour Nail in Tulare. Was very happy when I left the shop and tipped 25%. The next day we started to head south and west to the southern coast of CA. Two days later my manicure started chipping. I do not do manual labor so that had nothing to do with what is happening. My opinion is it was one of two things or perhaps a combination of both. I had someone doing my pedicure when "Ken" came over to remove my previous manicure. He used a fresnel like tool to remove the polish at one point even burning my nail bed with the filer. When it was time to do my manicure he was now no longer available to do my manicure so (can't remember her name) she only put two coats of gel on my nails and they were so thin from the previously mentioned filing. They had no strength and started to look like this was going to be a fail. But when that happened I was 150 miles away from Tulare. I would not recommend this shop unless they start following protocol for removal of previous color to making sure enough coats of new gel make the nail sturdy and last the 3 weeks they "promise" I normally go every 2 weeks but this time it is less than a week and I have to go and get my nails redone. read more

This place was so horrible!! Use to Kim's nail in Tulare and needed a pedicure ASAP. Tried out this place and regret it deeply. They did not clean the tub before putting my feet in and the water was very hot. My favorite part about getting a pedicure is them cleaning my toes, they spent 5 seconds on it and pained my nails. He was then supposed to massage my legs but just rubbed lotion on saying "your done" I had to put my sandals on myself. He cut my toes to the nail and is very crooked. Can't wait for it to grow out and go back to my regular place. Also did not have a drier for a regular pedicure for my sister cause her nail polish to get messed up. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!! read more

The wait is always long. Tools are not cleaned well for nails. I go for pedicures but in the last year the quality has decreased because they leave you in the water for sometimes 20min or longer. The people are nice and that is why I have come back because they great you and try to offer you things like water. It's mixed for me. read more
