I was very appreciative that they were able to get myself and my daughter in quickly. However, the service was very inconsistent. My daughter's technician started five minutes before mine and finished ten minutes after. Her nails look nice. Mine, however? I don't feel like she did a very good job on the nails themselves, they are not smooth like they usually are after I get a pedicure. A walk in manicure came in half way through my pedi, and I feel like my tech rushed to get to her. The polish is very sloppy - on my skin and parts of my nail that don't have even polish. I'm very unhappy with this. I will also admit that I should have asked for it to be redone, but I didn't know what to say. This is not a place that I would recommend. read more

I went here for about 4 months consistently. Every time I came in with an idea, I'd be pestered or talked out of doing what I came in for. The owner is the only one who knows what she's doing, the rest of them are not very helpful. The older man is very rough and when I got a fill in (from dark purple to French tip) he didn't get all of the purple off before he sealed it in with acrylic. I have had to come back 4x over broken nails and overall shoddy work once I got in sunlight and took a better look at the final product. The nails would look great but hardly last more than a week, and for acrylic I spent $50 on that's embarrassing. I previously would recommend this place. After multiple experiences of this being the only salon I go to, I would have to say that changed. read more

I recently moved down from Denver and this is the first time getting my nails done for the flip flop season. Close to home i decided to try Nail tech. Don't recommend. Toe nail polish was rubbed off my tech and when i showed them, they just looked at it and painted clear coat over. My manicure was rushed because they seen walk ins arrive for service. My shellac manicure looks terrible even I or a 10 year old could've done better job. Will not go back. read more

I visited this place before today. While she (Lee)wrapped my legs she left me sitting in pedicure chair for an hour while she did someone's nails. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and tried to visit them again. There were 3 staff and 2 patrons. When I told Lee why I was there she proceeded to tell me that they were busy and had no time to help me. Normally I'd probably understand but she was SO loud and rude. Made me feel like crap. Here's my honest review, The place wasn't bad it was nicely decorated, Lady who did my nails was really nice and had conversations with me. The male person didn't really converse too much. Honestly it's a bummer this place isn't better because it's so close to home but it's so not worth it. The past few times I've gone for acrylic fills/full set I was given to the man who works there. He is SO ROUGH!! I'm literally flinching and pulling away the entire time. The dremel gets so hot and he burns me with it on almost every finger. It's the least relaxing manicure I've ever had honestly because I'm always waiting for something he does to hurt. He did all the prepping this time and when it came to the polish he just got up and walked away and didn't do it. He didn't say anything to me so I had no idea what was going on? He just started cleaning up and then moved on to clean the pedicure tubs and I was just sitting there like.....is anyone gonna paint my nails....lol and eventually a woman who was in the middle of another manicure, rushes over to me, gives me two coats of polish when the sheer colors I picked needed more (my nails are practically see through and you can hardly see the polish on the lighter color) I didn't even have a chance to ask for a third coat before she slapped on the clear coat so I just kept quiet. But as my left hand was drying and my right hand was done she just squirted lotion in my right hand and was like "when this had is done just do the lotion yourself" and literally ran back to finish the manicure she was in the middle of before. CLEARLY she was rushing through mine and probably that girls too, one of my nails got messed up in the dryer and she didn't know because she never looked at my nails after the clear coat because she left me to rub the lotion in myself and walked away. No hand massage, never asked if I liked it or if they were okay, nothing. Definitely finding a new salon. Don't waste your money here. read more

On a whim, I left my house and decided to get a mani pedi. I walked in wearing my faded yoga pants and a crappy t-shirt. The female owner barely acknowledged me, and handed me over to an old man. While the female owner chatted and engaged to all the clients, she continued to ignore me. The man talked only in Vietnamese to the other workers, said nothing to me, and did a half-assed job. He tried to put me in a dirty foot soak machine that a kid just used and hadn't been cleaned. Good luck finding the hand soap, it's not labeled and food dishes in a drainer sit below it.Every person that came in after me, the owner cheerfully greeted. There was no fan to help dry my nails,I accidentally messed them up. The old guy did them over, but I could tell by the pissed off Vietnamese he was telling the others, he wasn't happy. Guess they think white people are STUPID and can't figure out when they're being talked about. I wanted to get cats eye gel on my toes, and the female owner talked me out of it because it was too expensive. Too bad she didn't notice my D&B purse and I drove off in a BMW. Won't ever be back. No matter what someone is wearing, everyone deserves to be treated decently when paying for services. read more

I have always had good service here. Lee the owner does a great job! I always get so many compliments on my nails. She started me with solar nails about 6-8 months ago and not once have I had one lift or break. Prices are very good as well. They have recently remodeled with new pedicure chairs tables and new flooring. The shop looks great! I wanted to add a picture of my nails but I can't see any way to do that. read more

I have been a client of Nail Tech almost as long as they've been in business. The atmosphere is cheerful. The techs are diligent and do more than your typical shop for a great price. Nails Tech on Uintah is absolutely horrible!! Cant believe the terrible service!! My nails look horrible and I have to redo them at home since they screwed them up so bad. When I told them to correct several mistakes they were extremely rude and barely wanted to correct the issue. Im literally getting paint off my fingers because they basically painted my whole finger tip to cover the nail.. The tech said I shouldn't have picked red.. Ummm... If you cant paint red.. Lee is amazing and very friendly. She can do beautiful hand painted artwork on fingernails and toenails. She works very hard and always has a smile on her face. My mother and I have been going there for years. She knows our kids, knows our names when we call for an appointment, and knows how we like to have our nails shaped and done even though we are very different. Shitty mani and pedi by the older gentleman today. I asked nicely for him to paint over many missed areas on my nails and he continued to paint them sloppy and not clean the edges, and with a little attitude. Came home and fixed them myself. Nice people, but you'll be disappointed if you go there for fills. My fills look really bad...the guy tried to free hand the white part. It's totally uneven, each nail is a different shape and there are weird white lines on some of the nails. He also made me bleed a little from nicking me with the drill. Yesterday was my first visit to Nail Tech. I have to say I will most definitely be a returning customer. They were all so warm and friendly. The gentleman that helped me was wonderful. He was careful and took his time with my nails. I've been to other salons where they are so rushed that I end up getting clipped or the end result just looks hurried. They turned out so pretty! And, Lee was most welcoming and so friendly to everyone that entered the salon. She talked to me to see what service I was there for and took the time to go over the details. I've been here before and the man shaped my nails pretty well, but rushed through. I went back today because it's so close to my house. There was three of us and the only person there said she would have time to do us all - two shoddy manicures, two hours later, and after telling 4 people to come back at the same time she finally asked if I could come back in yet another hour to finally do my nails. Wait another hour for a rushed manicure with a rude woman screaming into her cell phone the entire time? No thanks. I will never be back, and I got no sort of apology. I go see Ms. Lee at Nail Tech probably every two weeks. I especially like the atmosphere and the work that she does. Sometimes, especially on weekends, it gets very busy, but I try to schedule during the work weeks so she can take as much time as she wants. I would not recommend this place to anyone. When they first got started, their work was good but it continually has gone down hill in the last several months. They are rude, constantly yelling / talking to each other in their language. Thier hand massage time has gotten shorter if you can imagine that - even when they were not busy. I complained about a past manicure / shellac job that Lee did stating it chipped within a matter of days and that I was out of town and unable to come in to show her earlier. She shrugged her shoulders and started conversing with her fellow workers. She was probably talking about me. When she completed my manicure / shellac job it looked like it was 3 weeks old because it looked as if I already had out-grow. (I could see my white nail between the polish and my cuticle). No thank you! I haven't even had my nails done there and won't give them a try. I walked in just to check the place out and get the prices. One customer was in the store being massaged at the time. A young woman employee was lounging in the waiting section and a middle aged man was relaxing on one of the pedispa chairs. The woman asked if she could help me and I told her I was just looking the place over and wanted to see the cleanliness and pricing. She pointed to a sign on the wall with their prices and lolled back on the bench. I walked over to the pedispa chairs and was looking at them when the unoccupied man asked what was I doing. I explained and he started ranting about "other places not clean -- ours clean!" I answered that I didn't want to insult him but any sane person is going to be concerned about cleanliness before they entrust their nails to just anyone. Then he started really raving. Finally I said, "Sorry, but you've just lost a potential customer" and walked out. read more
