The owner is really good at nails but it doesn't even matter. She has never been able to keep good help because she is greedy and will leave you sitting there (even if you have an appointment) for a long time to work on a walk-in she can convert to a new client. It's all about the money. I am uniquely qualified to speak to this issue this way; I've followed Kim to 4 or 5 locations over 17 years. She has put me with an old guy who hung around her shop she says is her uncle He had no idea what he was doing. I have been searching for a go-to nail salon since relocating to Colorado Springs a few months ago and I finally think I've found my spot. Kim is great and does exactly what I want each visit. I have small nails that can be difficult for some, but she does clean and quality work. The first time I came in she made sure I was satisfied before I left since I let her know I had a few bad experiences at other salons recently. I typically go in for a fill + shellac and look forward to getting a pedicure soon. The weekends are expectedly pretty busy so I would advise you to make an appointment if you have other plans. I walked in and was stared at like i was an alien. The pedicure seemed rushed and no upsells were done nor explanations of different services. The polish was thick and glumpy, i would suggest bringing your own in. They also forgot to use top coat. My biggest concern was the instruments used were not new or opened in front of me, this makes me worry about fungus so i doubt I'll be going back. read more

Ok if you want a quick walk-in bargain pedi and everywhere else is booked. (Wheel of fortune is on the tv, if that gives you any indication of quality.) Place is clean enough, although the tools seem old. Pedi is fine. I would never go above the basic because it is not a spa and see no reason to spend money on a middle of the line "plaza" treatment. Service depends on who you get. Honestly, I think the ladies there do a MUCH better job than the men. The men there always rush and are sloppy. For example, Last pedi, my guy rushed me out, so I asked for flip flops. He said, no and that he'd used a quick dry gel, so I'd be fine. Got home to every nail Smudged. Check out the photo. I, and my family, are pretty regular guests at Red Rocks. I haven't written a review yet, but after seeing a previous review about a teenager being grabbed by a nail tech, I needed to let folks know how dear these folks are. I, and my daughter, and a full store full of regulars, were there when the previous reviewer's daughter was there getting her nails done. The nail tech DID NOT GRAB her. This girl jumped over the table to attack the woman, and her boyfriend had to drag her out of the salon while she was screaming profanities. The door was locked, only to have her family come in later and verbally attack the nail technician, getting close, screaming in her face. The whole salon came to the rescue. Taking video and calling 911. The door was locked after they were dragged out by other family members and another store owner. The police came, and video was shown. Our dear nail lady was in tears. It was awful for everyone in the salon. While sometimes you don't get the perfect application, or the quickest service, these great owners are wonderful. And let's face it, if you go into a nail salon that you're not paying $75 for a manicure...sometimes it isn't perfect. But they're still the people we go to, because they make it right. I had the, worst experience today.... I, needed a new set of nails. After being tortured with barbaric approach of removing my old nails. Including pulling out a fake nail to try prying the nails off breaking my real nails. Tears pouring and asking the tech to stop. The brilliant idea of soaking paper towels in acetone and wrapping my fingers in foil was suppose to be the answer. I ran out of that place as fast as I, could.... I, would never recommend them. I went to this nail salon Sunday January 15. They were friendly and clean. I got a no chip manicure. By Wednesday it already started peeling at the root of my nails. The reason for this is that the women working on my nails didn't clean up the edges with a brush, instead she ran her nail around mine to clean it up which left it uneven. The other issue I have with the manicure I received is that she didn't make then smooth when filing, they are bumpy and at first even felt a little sharp. I don't think I will return to this salon. If I get a no chip manicure I need it to last at least 10 days. I get no chip because I don't have time to be going to the nail salon every week. read more

I have been coming here for about 8-9 months now and never really had a problem until my last two times coming. The first time they were rude. Lastly i went in didn't get what i asked for my nails are thin and i know soon to break. I only got a fill and was charged $50.00 when my friend spent $50.00 just to get a full set the same time as i was there. I have gotten designs and jewels on my nails here for $35.00. I asked the guy multiple times to put a snow flake on two of my nails and he never did.The polish doesn't cover my old tips they are still easily visible, nor does it go close to my cuticle so i know i will need a fill in about a week. I have two very crooked nails that i pointed out multiple times and he acted like he fixed them but never did. I just experience the most wonderful Super Deluxe Pedicure service! Included in this service was a wonderful hot stone massage and paraffin wax treatment. My feet have never felt smoother! Awesome pedicure!! Really took their time and honestly was the best pedicure I ever had!!

Overall I had a great experience. I got a basic pedicure for 35$ which includes a salt scrub and the parafin wax. They do offer free wine while your getting your nails done but I did not partake in the festivity however that is an awesome perc! My nails look great and I will definitley be coming back! read more

My pedicure was very pleasant and the chair was comfortable. My single gel fill was not satisfactory. The shaping was fine but the person doing it did not put the gel coating on the tips. The day after my fill-in the tips of my nails look dirty from where the normal wear and tear of a day has slipped in the cracks left between the gel and my nail. I went back in 2 days later to have my tips repaired and the man tried to say that it was my fault for getting a single fill that my nails looked like crap. After asking for my money back he agreed to fix them. The gel coating was still not put on very well and a week later from the original fill and 4 days after the fix my nails are starting to chip again. Normally I can go for at least 3-4 weeks without a single chip or noticeable stress on my nails. Very unhappy with this place. Waste of time and money. read more

Made a reservation for 8 pedicures for a special event a few days prior. They had 5 technicians on staff, only 5 people ended up getting pedicures. 3 people had to volunteer not to get services. One of our pedicures ended up not getting polish due to a time constraints. When paying, I asked for $5 off because our reservation was not handled appropriately. I love this place! The staff is wonderful and so inviting. Ben did my gel French-tip manicure and it is perfect! Got them done almost a week ago, and they still look great.
