This is the second time I've frequented this nail salon and both experiences have been interesting. Maybe I've been spoiled by the pampered treatment that I've received from previous nail salons, so a "no-frills" approach feels like such a stark contrast. The good: my nails look nice - which isn't really hard to accomplish because I usually just request a regular nail color with no styles or nuances. The meh: The first time, I tried it out with a friend and, although we started at the same time and requested the same pedicure, I was done 10 minutes earlier than my friend. The second time, I came alone. My person was not particularly friendly, which was fine, but after she applied my nail polish, almost immediately she brought the key card machine for me to pay. Once I paid, she left. The neck warmer was still around my neck and there were no "pedicure" shoes around for me to put on. While these aren't necessarily negatives, it doesn't align with the pampered experience that I'm used to. Also, I really like nail salons that tear open the instruments before using them. Here, the instruments are stored in a dedicated box for each pedicurist. I'm pretty neutral about this salon, so I'll continue checking out other places. read more

As a tourist to Colorado, I wish this place I could put in my back pocket and bring home with me. It was by far the best nail salon experience I've ever had. From scheduling an appointment for three pedicures, two full sets and a fill for three ladies, on one of the busiest weekends in the springs (military graduation) to the moment all three of us left 100% satisfied, I will rave about this place. My technician, Kristoff, went above and beyond to make sure I was obsessed with my nails. He was patient, fun to talk to and positive altogether. Took my words/simple idea and brought it to life exactly how I'd like. My family is considerations relocating to CO SPRINGS and this amazing nail spot may be the icing on the cake if we end up. I went to Nail Perfection for a Pedi Mani with my daugther. We had a weekend wedding event so we went on a Thursday so it wouldn't conflict with the wedding activities. I explained that a basic Pedi would be fine on my feet, but I need gel on my fingers to hold up until the wedding. I mentioned it three times. I would have chalked the mistake up to a communication problem but later found out the manicurist spoke good English so she understood but decided to do a basic manicure with their CHEAP nail polish. I have never noticed a nail polished bottle that said 3-day guarantee. I paid 120 dollars plus a 24-dollar tip for nail polish that didn't even stay on for 24 hours. When I went in with a nail missing half the polish, they said I needed to wear gloves for cleaning. I was taking a bath when it can off. I have never had nail polish do this even OTC polish. They said they would patch it with the same CHEAP polish, and I explained I had asked for gel for a reason and expected it to be done as requested. They said that would cost me extra, I really wasn't even sure I could trust the gel application since their polish is substandard. After waiting 20 minutes I asked for a refund because I needed to leave for my event in less than and hour. Sorry no refunds was their policy. I decided to pay the extra after I realized they are not a business that cares for their customers, and my time was limited. Needless to say, I did not tip this time. My gel made it through the wedding but has small chips on the edges. I have always had gel last 10 to 14 days. The quality here is all over the place. Sometimes it's good, the next time a huge rush and doesn't hold up for a week. I'm currently siting outside after the tech just didn't show up for the appointment, apparently this is a regular thing because no one seemed to care one iota. I liked this place! My massage therapist recommended it and then I got there and my choir director was there too! Popular place but it's larger than most salons and there were a lot of people working. The staff were warm and seemed connected. There are two cute dogs that hang out and were fun to watch, and an adorable little girl being taken care of by everyone. They take walk ins and are open every day but Sunday until 7:00 pm. They did a good job on my pedicure which cost $26. They don't accept credit cards for tips (but will the first time if you didn't know their policy). They seem to have many regulars. Don't usually review places but this place is horrible!!! Went here this morning with my sister got 2 full sets and my sisters looked pretty good but mine are awful!! All of my nails are different sizes they have bumps and the nail polish is already chipping and I just got them done less than two hours ago staff asks you if they can fix anything and when you tell them to fix something they do it half way!! I came here for the first time ever to get a dip with Kyle. I noticed when I left that the nails were basically translucent and the color was patchy. I came back the next opened day to ask for them to dip one more layer. I waited 1.5 hours for them to repair. No one told me that it would look WORSE the second time around and when I said that they took it upon themselves to paint my nails with gel and charge me $20 for this service. Now I have hidieously thick nails that I ended up paying $80 total for. I would never come back here. I have to go pay someone else now to redo my entire nails Bc I will not have my hands looking like this for the next few weeks. Had you told me prior to the extra dip that it wouldn't look good I would have just asked for a gel color on top like you recommended AFTER he re dipped them. I cannot even begin to explain our experience here. I took my daughters there for their first nail salon experience. I told the gal what I wanted and she flat out said "I'm not good at that" so she switched me to the tech my daughter was using. My nail tech was so sweet and friendly... just not enough experience. My nails look terrible. My other daughter had different shape nails and different lengths and the nail tech cut the hell out of her pinky finger. When my daughter chose her color the nail tech told her "no you can have this color" flat out dismissed my daughters request. I complained to the manager and she didn't offer us anything but to come back to this terrible place to have it fixed. But not before she tried to tell me my daughters fingers bent different ways and that her nail bed was wider then the rest (to escape blame of her inexperienced nail tech) 260.00 later and we are not pleased. This isn't my usual place and only went here as a recommendation from a friend. Literally the next day my shellac is already chipping on 4 nails. I called and made an appointment with them. It was followed up by an confirmation via text. I arrived on time, checked in and waited about 35 minutes. I noticed people walking in and being seated even when I was the only one waiting. When I addressed it, they said I wasn't in the system. I showed them their text confirmation and even with that they said they couldn't attend me until an hour or two later. This was really upsetting especially since this was a fault on their part. Worst ever. The first time I went with an appointment for a manicure. I waited for 45 minutes before they told me "they forget". Tried them again and same experience. Made an appointment and 30 minutes later, still not ready. What's the point in making an appointment if you can't take care of your customers?! People have things to do besides sit around unnecessarily for sub-par service. The quality of work is not even that great. On top of it, they ignore you while you wait for the appointment and are unapologetic. I was given a gift certificate here and would rather take the loss on the gift than ever go back. This was my first refill I didn't know that shellac had to be an up charge to take off but that's ok. The guy who did my nails was very attentive he took his time doing my nails. I appreciated that coming from a different nail salon where they did my nails quite terribly. He could've done better on the shape. Also he did paint a different color on two of the nails and once I said that I didn't like it he did not take it off he just painted over them with the nail color that I liked and I wish he would've just started over with those two nails and painted them the right color because even though it's not super noticeable I can still see it. Also there was a little mess up on the pinky as well that you can see but again I'm just being Nitpicky. This is my favorite nail salon. The staff are friendly, professional, and do a great job. I usually walk in, which is never a problem for them, and have had probably every nail tech do my nails, all of them excellent. It is a warm, inviting, yet classy salon. The prices are extremely reasonable for the services. I can get a manicure, pedicure, or a wax in a timely manner. The staff do everything they can to get started on the services right away and do it effectively and efficiently. Great staff, great prices, great location. read more

This was the WORST manicure I've ever had in my entire life! I came in with my mom to get a manicure/pedicure and before a wedding I was attending, and the manicurists were extremely unprofessional (screaming at each other and eating ears of corn while working on customers nails). In terms of my manicure, it lasted a total of 2.5 days. It didn't chip - my nail polish completely peeled off. It looked like I had press on fake nails. This also coincidently was my longest manicure I've ever had - it turned into 45 mins of JUST working on my hands. Their nail color selection was TERRIBLE and it looked like the bottles were very old - lots of rust on many of the colors. I will never be back.. Big waste of time and money. read more

The older gentleman was my tech for a full set and he wasn't able to file my nails into an almond shape without someone coming to do it for him 3 times. Even when the other person helped him, my nails came out different shapes and sizes, despite my asking to fix them. He disregarded the fact that the polish was not opaque nor smoothed out. The polish didnt even cover all of he nail. There are parts of my nails that are completely bare . I asked several times for him to fix it and he refused to help. They told me it would only be a few minutes so I just decided to wait. I wasn't aware a few minutes was almost an hour. They then rushed to do a fill on my nails. Worst nail salon experience EVER. The owner Hannah is so rude. The salon is filthy and I watch one girl use the same pedicure tools on two different people without cleaning them and sterilizing them first. I would highly recommend going elsewhere especially if you would like to avoid an infection.... if you do go here avoid Hannah first off she did a horrible job... I had to go to another salon to get my nails fixed after dealing with her rude behavior.... Secondly.... Make sure you ask for proof the instruments are cleaned appropriately ... and third don't look around you'll be so grossed out with how dirty this place is. I love this nail salon! I have been going for over 10 years to Nail Perfection and in that time I have not once had an unpleasant experience. Contrary to the more defamatory reviews on this site which seem more like tall tales; the salon is exceptionally clean and the staff is courtesy and professional. I simply find my nail design or color I want on Pinterest show my nail salon professional, Jennifer and she matches it exactly.
