Workers nice polite but we left after we watched the boy (definitely under 15) wash with hand soap a very worn out sponge and tools then sit down with those tools to start our pedicures. We are not from MI and may that is an ok standard here. I asked and was told they were washed in a solution. Nope it was hand soap bath and body works to be specific. No autoclave just reusing those tools oof! The floors were dirty there was a wadded up napkins with a half eaten donut on the arm rest of the chair the floors were not swept and on the work table at my station were nail clippings and dirty tools. Today was my first time at Nail Tech and will be my last. Hoping and praying my heel does not get infected. The place is dark and dingy. She sat me right away, but sat there soaking for over an hour before anyone touched me. Should have listened to my inner voice and ran far away!! The woman was very distracted. Stopped in the middle to clean two tubs and prepare for other customers. Dug, pushed, clipped nail tools so hard tears came to eyes. Then the cheese grater came out and shredded my feet leaving an open raw spot on my right heel. Over two hours and injured. Stay away! read more

They don't have enough techs for as much business as they get, I called and asked how long the wait was for a full set and they said an hour, so I came back in exactly an hour and still had to wait an additional 2, after the 2 hour Mark I left. If you want to get your nails done or anything here make sure you don't plan anything for the day cause you'll be there for 4 hours or more. read more

I wanted to post an update- I went back here yesterday to get another pedicure/manicure combo. When I walked in, another customer was getting a pedicure/manicure as well, but with shellac nail polish. It appears that it is their policy to do all manicures while in the pedicure chair- as the other patron had the shellac machine in her lap. I got my pedicure and manicure done by two different girls- and it was sometimes awkward having to hold the water bowl in my lap while my feet were also being worked on at the same time, as to not spill the water everywhere. I was in and out in an hour without having to wait, so that's still a big plus. read more

I love coming here to get my nails done. They all do amazing work. The only thing I wish is that other clients had more respect for their long hours and hard work. I have been there countless times and it's 15 minutes before closing time and a mom with 3 kids who are way too young to be getting a full set will expect them to do things for adults and show them pictures that are ridiculous and then talk down to them, or teenagers want full sets and come in with a group all wanting crazy things done that they don't keep up, so it's even more work. When a business closes at a certain time, be courteous and remember that they too have families to go home to and business hours are set for a reason. Don't be rude and come in at closing time with 4 "full sets" and then want the world done and then act rude. It's rude alone to walk in and ask for all of that at closing time. Working in the industry, it's common courtesy that if you walk in at closing, and they are overly generous to take you, you better tip at least 30%. If they're busy I come back another day. Be courteous and don't take advantage of their kindness. They all do amazing work, but remember that closing time doesn't mean "walk-i time". read more

SLOW! Three customers in the place including me, three workers, I waited over an hour soaking in tub for a pedicure before I was serviced and it took them forever to finish and had to fix two mistakes. Basic pedi took 2.5 hours. No sense of urgency with the staff whatsoever. read more

My sister and I chose this salon since we were in Monroe handling some other business and in dire need of a Mani! We also had discovered that they offered powder-dipped manicures and we had already had that service in Ann Arbor area 3 weeks prior. First, only one employee working, but he was friendly and we didn't wait long to get in a chair. The place was cold inside and never got any warmer than 60* the entire 90 minutes or so we were there. Another tech arrived and began sharing the work. This girl also very friendly. We did complain about the cold and were told that it had just became an issue this winter. They've been in this location 10+ years (this verified by an older customer who was very comfortable talking with the employees, my sister and myself). Place is clean and techs very personable, but do not feel like paying customers should be that uncomfortable having a service done. Once I see how my nails last for the next 1-3 weeks, I'll review the quality of workmanship, as well. Customers beware! U R going to be cold here! read more

Hands down, the WORST pedicure and pink & whites I've ever had done! I've been to places in Phoenix, Miami, Santa Barbara, Vegas, Kansas....this place should be embarrassed of the product they produce! So first I walk in to do a pedicure, young girl started that... Not even licensed or experienced. She did the most awful pedicure! Inconsistent and for the money I spent on the pedicure alone, highly disappointing. By the way, my feet were in the water...for over 45 minutes before Ms. Inexperienced even got to me! How do I know she's not experienced you ask? I listened to the Owner tell her to take home polish and practice with her friend who was driving from Arizona. They were hiring her friend for the summer and the Owner told her to practice doing polishes on each other. Also mentioned that she needed to get certified or whatever. So after being let down from the half ass attempt pedicure, I did proceed to sit for my pink & whites. I figured the Owner would handle that. He had the worst pedicure giver glue my tips on...and cut them to my liking. After having her cut the length shorter three times, I gave up. The owner proceeded to do my nails.... Equally horrific job. Whack job! Crooked, air bubbles, each nail looked different. One looked as if it had 10 layers of the pink! I was hopeful this place would be my go to... I'll never step foot in that so called nail salon ever... Ever!!!!!!! Save yourself the $80 and look elsewhere! read more

Absolute worst nail salon I have ever been to!!!! This place is truly awful, I walked in, and sat down for a pedicure immediately since there were no other customers. A girl around fifteen started doing my nails. The job was terrible, I could've done better myself. She was extremely inexperienced, put no effort into the job and was most definitely not certified. She was less than friendly, and hardly did anything to my feet. My calluses were not removed, nails were hardly filed, the polish job was terrible. The lighting was extremely dim, and had to pull out my phones flashlight to even see the nail polish colors, everything was dirty, not a single utensil had been clean during my pedicure. I was worried about getting an infection from this place. The girl took a chunk out of my toe during my pedicure and noticed some bleeding after I left. I also noticed after I left a spot where the girl bumped my nail and then never bothered to fix it, her attitude made the experience even worse. And not that it particularly matters but the staffs attire was very sloppy, the girls wore booty exercise shorts paired with oversized t shirts and very un-kept hair. Like I said this isn't exactly important but really shows how unprofessional this place is. Save your money!! Anyone can do a better job themselves than coming here and spending a fortune !! Don't risk infection from dirty utensils or have chunks of your toe go missing, go anywhere else!! read more
