I get home and take my shoes off and my toes are ruined, which then I have to proceed to drive back to the nail place. I walk in and tell them the situation, which I got laughed at in my face. Which I did not see necessary given that it's frustrating having to come back and having asked prior to leaving to be given the sandals they provide. Prior to this I had many small interactions with some of the workers which rubbed me the wrong way but after this situation, this was my last straw and I will not be returning.

My young children purchased a gift card for me at the beginning of April for my birthday, and just a few weeks later, the business was sold with no notice to customers. When I tried to use the gift cards, I was told they would not be honored, with no exceptions and no grace period. While I understand that ownership changes happen, it's incredibly frustrating that a business could purchase an existing business, and would refuse to stand behind purchases made just weeks prior. There was no communication, no transition period, and no effort to make things right for customers who supported the business in good faith. The new owners stated that the other Milano locations would honor the gift cards - that is not true. All are independently owned. At a minimum, a short grace period would have shown respect for loyal and LOCAL customers. Instead, this experience left me feeling taken advantage of and unlikely to return.

The service itself was going to cost $75, and I already spent $24 on transportation to get here. When I arrived, I was told that the nail technicians had already left because no customers were there. I find this very unprofessional. If the business is open until 7:00 PM, I would expect at least one or two technicians to remain available during posted business hours, or the business should indicate that it is no longer accepting customers. The open sign was still on, which made it appear that services were still available. To make matters worse, I now have to pay for another Uber to travel to a different nail salon, adding even more unexpected expense and inconvenience. As a business owner myself, and someone with a background in management, I believe business hours should be honored and customers should be able to rely on the hours that are posted. I just recently started coming to the nail parlor because my coworker got me into this gig. The first time I came to Bella, it was during Halloween season. I wanted to get something to match the holiday. Upon my arrival, I told the staff what I wanted and they matched the photo that I presented to them. What I enjoyed about this parlor more than others was it's traditional atmosphere. It felt like a mom and pop environment. Not too fancy inside. Pretty basic. The foot massage was okay, not as good as my experience at Everly Nails in Kyle. The staff is very friendly and nice. The establishment is clean and sanitary. It's not in a crowded parking lot like nearby nail store. I always request short nails so it'll easier for me to type for my occupation. They did exactly what I expected and asked for. I love the music that they play; it's so calming. The prices are very reasonable and affordable.
