Hi, I came to this nail shop after taking an Uber and driving about 20 minutes. The shop closes at 7:00 PM, and I arrived at approximately 6:25 PM. The service itself was going to cost $75, and I already spent $24 on transportation to get here. When I arrived, I was told that the nail technicians had already left because no customers were there. I find this very unprofessional. If the business is open until 7:00 PM, I would expect at least one or two technicians to remain available during posted business hours, or the business should indicate that it is no longer accepting customers. The open sign was still on, which made it appear that services were still available. To make matters worse, I now have to pay for another Uber to travel to a different nail salon, adding even more unexpected expense and inconvenience. As a business owner myself, and someone with a background in management, I believe business hours should be honored and customers should be able to rely on the hours that are posted. Tuscan Villa has become my go to nail salon since moving back to the west side of town. I had browsed salons on Yelp before deciding to try Tuscan Villa. Once again, Yelp did not steer me wrong. They prefer for customers to make an appointment, however they will take walk-ins. The first time I visited, I walked in and didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes (probably because it was at lunch time on a Friday). I've scheduled appointments on their website as well as on the phone. The site is pretty straight forward to use and it will send you a reminder of your appointment. I usually get pedicures, but I have done a basic manicure as well. Tina is my preferred nail tech. She's very sweet and gentle. She hasn't cut or knicked my cuticles. I personally prefer a more quiet experience when I'm getting my nails done and Tina keeps the talking to a minimum. She always offers me a beverage too which is nice. They have a decent sized waiting area with adequate seating. The waiting area has never been crowded when I've visited. They also have a full bar. Sometimes, the staff will offer snacks like nuts, cookies, or crackers. One time they even had Jello shots lol. The staff is always so friendly and professional. This is probably one of the best nail salons that I've been to in Pearland. read more

I arrived on time for my 10:00 a.m. appointment and was not greeted when I walked in. After waiting, I was eventually acknowledged and told that Yannie would be with me shortly. By 10:15, I was still waiting, so I asked for an update and was told it would be about five more minutes. At 10:25, I still had not been seen or given any further communication. At that point, I had no choice but to walk out and find another salon to get my builder gel manicure. This experience was unacceptable and felt incredibly disrespectful of my time. Appointments are made for a reason, and basic acknowledgment and transparency go a long way. Unfortunately, this lack of professionalism makes it difficult to recommend this salon. read more

Terrible first-time experience. I was assigned two male technicians, and the one who did my manicure rushed through it so carelessly that my nails looked messy and uneven. Definitely recommend Dip by Kim! She did a great job and even showed me the color I chose on a model nail before putting it on my nail. She even mixed two colors to get the exact shade of white that I wanted. I did a walk in and they accommodated me with Kim within 15 minutes. I'll definitely be back! I stuck with my favorite natural color which is dirty dancing which I was happy that they had it.available. I got the gel X nails done by Simon. To be honest it seemed like he was having a little trouble at first but, I did like that he didn't just slap them on there and kept going. He removed the ones that were not staying and did them right. I do like the shape. I also got a shellac pedicure that Lisa did. Lisa took her time because i told her my nails were thin so she did not hurt me. The massage was pretty good. I got French but the line is pretty thin so that's the only thing I would fix. One of my friends took me to Tuscan Village for a pedicure for my birthday. Her and I had side by side pedicures and had such a relaxing time! We went with an Orange pedicure which included fresh orange slices in the water, various orange scrubs, a paraffin wax, a hot stone massage, etc. It was glorious. Then we topped it off with a hot pink and white polka dot polish. I mentioned how I had never had a manicure before and my friend added that to my "spa day present" as well. Wendy is THE reason I be coming back to Tuscan Nail I normally do my nails myself; pointy with red tips. Unfortunately they don't last as long when I do them myself and nail places deny making my nails pointy unless they're a certain length. This place is very nice. Service was great. And they do good work. The orchid l price is a bit steep in my opinion. But they do such good work that I think it's worth it. But one small gripe, which is a totally personal thing... the lighting. Is like a hospital surgical operating room light. Very bright and does not give relaxing vibes at all. I'm always on the hunt for a salon I can call my home. I saw this place had a decent amount of good reviews so I thought I'd try them out. I was a walk-in and was accommodated in a timely manner. The lobby where the nail colors were was well organized! I found the color I wanted quickly and waited for my tech. Once she got me from the lobby area we walked to her station. I really like the layout of this place! You walk down an aisle (red carpet) and there are rooms to your right and left. I was escorted to my chair and was offered a drink immediately. Then while I was waiting for my drink, I was looking over their extensive list of service options. I only needed a pretty basic pedicure. My tech was very thorough and friendly. I noticed there were a lot of regulars which is a great sign. Some were asking their tech about families and giving hugs so you know that's a great sign! I've been coming here more consistently recently to find my "person." I am soooo happy to say that Wendy is officially that person after getting a shellac manicure that lasted 3...THREE weeks WITHOUT chipping ! This has never been my experience since I've been getting no chip/shellac for years. It typically lasts 2 weeks at most w chipping. I strongly think this lasted so long because of the quality products and tools Wendy uses, as well as the time and care she takes doing her work. I decided to try Tuscan Villa today for a pedicure because I was interested in the Dazzle Dry polish. Here's my experience: -Walked in and stood there watching the owner (white male) and the 2 employees (an Asian male and female) at the front go back and forth about a customer. No one even greeted me after glancing over to see who walked in. Once there was a slight lull in the conversation the male employee greeted me as the owner continued to go back and forth with the female employee. -After I check in I go to look at the polish colors. I see that in order to get Dazzle Dry polish it's an additional $10. Well, back to regular polish I go! -The water in the pedicure bowl was extremely hot; the paraffin wax was extremely hot; the towel she used after to steam/wipe my legs was extremely hot!! I'm like, are y'all trying to burn the skin off my feet and legs? Each time I complained about the temp/heat the nail tech did respond so I appreciated that. -The nail tech asked me if she could use that cheese-grater tool on my feet...#1 I don't need it bc my feet aren't that rough, #2 aren't those banned from salons? I swear I heard years ago they're no longer allowed to use those. -The pedicure came out ok. The polish looks ok/mediocre. My toenails basically look like I painted them. -My favorite parts of this experience were the hot stone massage, the massage chair, the champagne, and the peace and quiet in the pedicure area. This shop is all about taking you cash and using aged-old products. Pouring acetone in old bottles of polish and forcing their thoughts on the services you want and you're paying for. The front desk staff solely supports the techs and their all about a numbers game. Poor customer service and Techs have fake smiles and bad attitudes! I'd strongly suggest not drinking out of their glasses as sanitation is limited and they're recycling ever ounce of product possible. The nail tech got mad for me requesting a different color and to perfect the shape; I was told she'd no longer service me going forward. Management supported the tech without asking me any questions or details. DO NOT frequent this shop, they're all about you money, tips and hurrying you out! Tech Helen has a bad attitude and talks about her co-workers constantly opening with a jealous spirit. Tracy (tech) operates like slow as molasses and is too worried about up-charging. The front desk are so hungry for business and trying to keep the doors open the customer is "not right". Tracy at the front desk told me it's hard to loose techs she's trying to keep the doors open. So she lost me as a client to keep her tech. Perhaps it's "their" culture but they are ridiculously money hungry and forceful of the services. I will happily take my services elsewhere but wanted to inform the community. What amazes me most, is how theses techs come into our community their not residence themselves and operate with greed. read more
