Terrible experience I wouldn't get anywhere close to this salon In 10 years I never had my nails so thin and unhealthy, I paid them $80 to RUIN my nails. (After they told me that the service "starts at $45" I didn't get anything special, such a scam) I realized how aggressively the girl was filing down my nails, but she wouldn't listen when I ask her to be more gentle. One nail broke and the others are on the way. I have VERY strong nails. again, it hasn't happen to me in years. Been coming to NailHouse for almost a year now and they're the best location I've found in Hollywood. Vivian and Tony know how to run their business and are always making sure the costumer is happy. I've been consistently seeing Lisa for a mani and pedi every two-three weeks and she always takes the utmost care with my nails. My finger nails have never been stronger after Lisa and Vivian told me about a bond building polish and I have been on the upwards since then. They have a wide selection on colors and what I love the most is that the manicure lasts for a very long time. Very nice place to have the nails done and feet. I took my daughter for a treat, so nice to be pampered . They have the option of regular polish or the gel stuff. The gel looks really great and last a long time but is horrible to remove. I personally Don't like that because it feels weird on my finger nails. The regular polish is less money and I can remove the polish myself when I get tired tired of the color. This store is right next to the tag place and across from the UPS store. 7/20 I have been here a couple of times since the Covid Reopening. Masks are required to enter. There is a plexiglass partition between the customer and nail tech. Nice variety of polish colors. The nail techs do a good job. The salon is clean. I would like to make this my regular nail salon. read more

I have been to this place before, and my MIL likes there as well. However, I was truly disappointed with their service this time. Made an appointment for 2 pedi and 1 mani, when we arrived there, I wanted to see if we can add a mani, but the manager told me they are booked, so they can't. Which is very understandable, because it's close to the 4th. However, at the end of our pedicure, they took a walk-in client, who asked for a Mani/Pedi. Now, this was after I asked them again if they can fit me in. When I saw they took the walk-in client, I was pretty unhappy. If my MIL wasn't there, I would have called them out. Oh well, I guess I didn't fit their client criteria. read more

I was visiting the area and somewhat overdue for a bio gel nails manicure (type I typically get), plus had a nail malfunction (right index finger gel started to lift off, so I removed it completely.) The shop was close to where I was staying, so I decided to call for availability on the day of (I had called others in the area but there were no openings), and explained what type of service I was looking to have done. I was told to come in at 2pm, expecting to start within a reasonable (5 to 10 minutes) amount of time, but had to wait a half hour. The tech (as well as the owner she consulted with speaking in a foreign language) seemed to not be familiar with bio gel nails. After some discussion, I settled for whatever gel product they used. Instead of just removing the polish on the nine intact nails and filling in, plus applying a few layers of gel to the bare nail, she proceeded to drill off ALL product from the nine intact nails, which turned into a "UV LIQUID GEL FULLSET" (more expensive) not just a REFILL. As things went along l, I indicated a preference for a "natural" (not thick) gel/polish look, which usually requires additional drilling after gel application. She proceeded to add three layers of gel and not sufficiently shape or drill to achieve the look I had requested. I also had to ask her to shape (file) a few uneven nails after she was done. Note that most of the "Nail Enhancement" prices are listed as $+ (i.e. "UV LIQUID GEL FULLSET/ REFILL........$45+/$30+") which leaves considerable room for fluctuations in price. Most annoying was her technique of applying both gel product AND gel nail polish, plus a top coat thicker on the nail tips. This created unsightly bumps and uneven surfaces (on some nails more than others). I would have been fine paying the $60 I was charged, but not at the expense of sacrificing the look I wanted. It would seem that the tech emphasizes longevity by applying products thicker at the nail tips. On the plus side (from what I could see, as I I did not use the bathroom) the salon was neat and clean. The sample color choosing nail strips were organized, new and clean like no other salon I've ever been to, and the color selection was extensive and nicely displayed. Unfortunately, I don't recall the tech's name, but she kept repeating my name and was amusing. In a pinch, I would give this place another try with a different person. Update: 3/11/2022. For comparison, added two pics of gel manicure done yesterday once back at home in Toronto. read more

Found an awesome hair salon through reviews and my wax place has a location in the same plaza! Well I did a trifecta because I found this place while I was walking around and they are new and I love the friendliness and prices are not astronomical! I had Cici or CeCe as my nail tech and apart from being the sweetest thing, she also paid attention and asked for my input on what I liked! I don't do fake gel nails...seems to me that's all they care about here. If you are looking for a decent regular mani pedi...GO ELSEWHERE! They rush through service or work on two people at once. I paid $76 plus $13 tip for a spa pedi and regular mani. Neutral tones, very straighforward. I have nicks and shreds all over my toes. I had to repeatedly ask for nails to be filed properly. The paint job on both haphazard and uneven. When I pointed all this at the end the owner asked if I wanted another topcoat! Um no, how would that help? she at least also asked, "can we fix it?" um how? Do it wrong ALL over again? NO THANKS. My time is valuable and it was just wasted. Sorry, Not returning. I've had my nails done by 3 different people so far, and each time my nails have lasted a significant length of time whether it was gel polish or dip. Really nice nail spa! I'm from out of town for a cruise and needed my cruise pedicure before getting on the ship. I needed my pampering and found this nail spa close to my hotel before flying in. Booked a first thing appointment online and confirmed the next day on the type of pedicure I wanted. They made sure it was with the right person and they gave me the extra time needed for the Volcano pedicure. I arrived on time and Susanna got started immediately. I warned her I was extremely ticklish and we got started. She wasn't terribly talkative, maybe because I'm not a regular, or maybe she's not a big talker, I tried but was unsuccessful. It's ok, she's good at what she does and gave me an amazing pedicure. Having friends in the area, I will highly recommend they make a visit here, as well as my cruise friends who frequently cruise out of South Florida. I, will also definitely be back! Amazing experience all around! The owner was very helpful. I showed her a picture of nails I liked, and she helped me get the right colors and found the perfect stickers for it. They have soooo many stickers of all different kinds. I got the signature spa pedicure, and my nails are acrylics with gel nail polish. The best manicure and pedicure I have ever had. This was my first time here. I live in Pines and I've been looking for a good nail spa. I arrived and there was no wait (it's Tuesday about 10 am, which is pretty typical). What I liked was that there were about 5 techs there and they were all available. They're well staffed, which is great. Cindy did my pedicure and nails. I chose my color and they had so many colors to choose from. I did dip on my hands and gel on my toes. They had the matching set of dip and gel which some salons don't have. And it was DND which I like as a brand. She did a really great job on my mani and pedi and took her time perfecting it. I love that she didn't rush and made sure it looked great. After moving to Fort Lauderdale and trying 4 nail salons I think I finally found the right one. Mimi was absolutely amazing, she did a fabulous job on my full set & pedi. She cleaned up my toes...I had a very bad acrylic over lay from my previous pedi that ruined my whole nail and she was still able to do my gel pedicure and give my nails room to grow. I showed up to my appointment 5 minutes late because they're always running late for my appt. they said "sit down wait a little". I live walking distance. I rather wait at home and get work done. I told the owner to please call me when they're running late, so I can do something else than sit there and wait. She said in front of a whole group of people waiting: "Things happen." The nail techs are very nice but the new owner husband and wife are so rude and I did not feel valued as a customer so I left. I loved my tech but had to go elsewhere. Just be prepared to wait and the owner not value your time. They should offer 10% discount for making you wait for your appt. that would make me feel valued. read more

I feel like family when I visit them. So friendly, professional and Talented! I followed them from south beach when I found out the family opened the salon. It's a drive for me but totally worth it. I don't want anyone to help me with my nails but Vivian because she knows what I like. I know the other people who work there are very good also so don't get bummed if they are busy. They ruined my nails. My nails are so weak after getting dip and they constantly bend. They're now the shortest they've ever been. They just care about making money off of you. I went a couple of times and they're expensive for subpar job. Also one time I was getting a pedicure and the lady doing my feet TOUCHED another lady's toes (she was sitting next to me) and then continued to touch my feet. Very unsanitary. read more

Quality of service/ longevity subpar. Management ran poorly with customers complaints such as mine .When spending top dollar for a service and the quality of the job does not match the price that's not ok .To do a pedicure whether it's "basic" or "spa" to leave with your feet dirty on the bottom still and not even scrub the feet or use lotion that is unacceptable. When your nail(s) chip after doing apres gel x extensions 2 days later is embarrassing and unacceptable. At that point I let it go and filed the nails myself so they wouldn't continue to chip or possibly crack . But the icing on the cake was when the nails started popping off in less than 10 days. An apres gel x nail extension is supposed to last between 3 to 4 weeks that's why you would think to spend $75 to have that service done. Plus $15 additional for a french. I would have no problem with the price if the quality matched and lasted !!!! You would think management would have been extremely sorry and accommodating especially to a first-time customer. I would expect they would try and make the customer satisfied especially after walking around with now 2 missing nails. I am not one to write any reviews but the lack of respect and care is unacceptable and very disrespectful. I am a business owner myself in Parkland , FL and I would be mortified to ever treat my customers the way I was treated. I always do right at the end to make them happy. I went to this salon three times before deciding not to return. The first time a guy did my pedicure and did a great job, I love the ten minute massage. A female did my nails and they looked good, however they started lifting after about 10 days which is shorter than usual for me. The second time, the same female who appears to be the manager did my nails again. The nails looked good but I did not appreciate her political conversation during my time at the salon. To me this is unprofessional unless the customer starts a conversation like this first. The third time a different man did my nails. They looked awful. Very think and the shape was terrible. I went to get them fixed at another salon and they recommended taking them completely off. When They were taken off I saw that one of my finger nails was very brown and the new salon told me this was fungi. I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and never had this issue before. I didn't see any cleaning while at this salon and believe the fungi was due to a dirty salon and lack of knowledge from the staff. read more

She adjusted and they came out okay but my toes were terribly asymmetric.. not sure if my nail tech had an appointment or what but she completely rushed through the pedicure and the quality was complete crap. What set me over the edge & brought me to write this review was the fact that I got charged the crazy price of $135 + tip for some basic looking nails.
