When I'm in town visiting relatives, I stop by this nail salon. They are always very kind and accommodating. I typically get a gel manicure and spa pedicure with regular polish. My nails are usually very short, cuticles/nail bed a nightmare (thanks anxiety), but they always manage to make them look presentable again. One thing I will mention, and please keep this in mind, *gel and regular polish, although marked the same color, most often is NOT*. I picked a deep shimmery maroon and the gel polish for my nails were blood red the first time around. Needless to say I was so flustered! The lady removed the gel, helped me find a color closer to the traditional polish on my toes, and reapplied until I was satisfied. She apologized profusely, but it wasn't her fault. We were both annoyed with the inconsistency of the polish and even laughed about how terrible the initial color was. Point being, if you are unhappy with your service, let them know while you are present so they can remedy the issue instead of writing a nasty review online after you leave. The only critique I will give is - they could massage a bit longer with the exfoliating scrub, which is my favorite part. I am grateful to the nail tech for being patient with me and not stopping until I was a happy customer. I will always support this business! read more

I am very new to the area and have been looking for new for everything from a vet for our cat to a hair salon and nail salon. I had made alot of phone calls and found that most places only did gels or dips and I've only ever had acrylics and that's what I wanted. I had resigned myself to a place in Gulfport until I asked a girl at a local restaurant where she got her nails and that's how I found out about Fabulous Nails. Not only is Ivy very nice, her prices are fantastic and she gave me a stamp card so after my 10th visit, I'll get $15 off of a service. WHAT??!! I've been here several times. The last time was I'm afraid to say was the last. It's unfortunate for me because they are incredibly convenient, minutes from my front door, but the last time I was in was a total disaster. I'm not sure if my tech was new but after cutting me three times she couldn't execute a simple French manicure. The unpolished nails looked terrible. I left looking like I had attempted to do my own nails at home. They are incredibly clean, and it's a good location if you live in Long Beach. But I'd bank some blood first, and make sure your tech is experienced. Otherwise, you will have a real lack of consistency with your finished product. read more

I would definitely recommend this place for gel nails. Not only do they have a good selection of colors and their work is very nice, but it is very affordable... a full set shouldn't run you more than $40. I've gotten several fills and one start-over and each visit has lasted at least 3 weeks. The shop is clean and not very fancy, but nothing important is missing. I haven't had a pedicure yet but I am looking forward to getting around to that, and they have a little pedi chair for small girls to have the full experience, which I think is adorable. read more

Went in for a pedicure with daughter and was rudely asked to wear a mask. I didn't have one, mask mandate is lifted here. Was given a dirty used cloth mask.... Should have left them. As girl was doing pedicure she was talking in her native language to herself. It was very uncomfortable and strange. Pedicure was not done well either. Asked for short nails and she didn't do it. Asked for a gel polish and didn't get that either. NEVER AGAIN! Lesson learned! read more

I don't understand how this place has 5 stars but it must be because I unfortunately got stuck with the new Guy. I had overheard he had only been there a month. Went in for a mani / pedi cost was $55 since I got gel polish on my nails. New guy that did my pedi couldn't cut or file my nails straight and was a hot mess painting them. Luckily they can clean up with a brush and solution. And when he was using the cleaning tools he dug like heck into my toes. He should NOT be doing anything that has to do with nails. Then Girl that did my mani was only there helping out as she runs a restaurant full time. Nice. Nail polish was a little messy from lack of smoothness to a little outside the nail line.. and you can't clean up gel polish with the cleaner so it just was what it was. Worst experience of my life and it would explain why the parking lot is ALWAYS empty! The lady that did my nails was rude and moving like she had better things to do! She was throwing my hands around like I was in her way then she turned around and burned my finger! She then attempted to blame it on me, and yelled like it was my fault! Nice clean salon, friendly staff, great prices, and any nail design you can think of.

Hardly any sanitary techniques used. Nothing to do or look at. It's cheap but that's not worth it.
