I went to Nails 2 about two months ago and had a poor experience. I had an appointment for a pedicure. I was directed to chair to soak my feet. One technician was rude and argued with me. They were overbooked and two women beside me were waiting for a technician. Meanwhile the rude technician curled up in an armchair to rest. It was crazy. So I had gel nails removed here a few years ago. Only now posting the review because I had such a traumatic experience that I swore to never have gel done again if that was the process to remove it! Having had my gel nails done and removed at a MUCH better salon, I can now honestly say that this place should be shut the heck down. The gel removal I had done here left my nails and nail beds sore, bleeding, and absolutely destroyed for months. I had to wear press on nails for months because my nails looked so terrible. They never even SOAKED the gel before removing it! Knowing what I know now about proper gel removal, I shouldn't have even paid for the service I received, but sadly I was naive to gel nails at the time and thought it was just a terrible process to get them removed. Run. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR NAILS! And for all that is holy, never allow someone to remove gel nails without soaking them first! read more

So two weeks ago I went for a pedicure and was cut on my big toe...he said he was sorry and put my foot back in the water... three days later my toe is swollen infected and throbbing.. I soaked it in Epsom salt for a few days with no relief I went to the ER last Friday they would not touch it because I am a diabetic went to a podiatrist that afternoon and she cut it open cut some of the nail off and put me on antibiotic... Follow up today it's still infected going to take a while to heal. Terrible. I went in to have my acrylic nails removed and the guys didn't fully remove my acrylics, cut my fingers with his tools and then tried to dip my hand in acetone thinking I wouldn't notice that I was bleeding. Will not return. Terrible job. read more

Took my wedding party to get our nails done and I showed them a picture of what I wanted.... they matched the picture perfectly and blew my expectations out of the water. I have no idea why they are only one star. The staff was soooo friendly and we had a great experience. I would definitely come here again and it was cheaper than places I have gone to in the past. read more

I went in just trying a new place to get my pedicure. I did have an appointment. They still had to squeeze me in. The trimming of my toenails worked out fine. part of an American pedicure is soaking, rinsing, and washing your feet, including massaging of the lower legs. They did that part but it was really cut short. The process took about 20 minutes. Most pedicures I've had last about 30 minutes. The price for an American Pedicure was $43. A little steep in my opinion. I'll go somewhere else next time. read more

I was disappointed with both my new set of gel nails as well as my gel pedicure. The gentleman doing my nails made them bleed and my nails are still very sore. The price was higher than I typically see, and the quality did not match what they charged. I would not recommend going to this facility. read more

Today I decided to go and get a pedicure and a manicure at Nails 2 in Ashland. Boy was that a mistake!!! The pedicure looks awful!! I still have calluses, I still have rough heels, the polish is all over my skin, I have two toes that are red and sore where she trimmed the skin and the nails aren't even cut straight!!! And the manicure... Well let's just say more of the same! And if that isnt bad enough I was asked as she started my manicure if I would like to have the gel manicure instead of the regular one, I thought well original one is $15 and if the gel lasts alittle longer then yeah sure for a couple more bucks why not! I'll tell you why not because I was charged $45 for it!!!! Never again!!! I had to light one star in order to post this but...ZERO STARS!!! read more
