I have sometimes met the owner, who owns another shop elsewhere, here to get my nails done. She generally does good work, but this time she spent the entire time on the phone with someone - in other words, multitasking. When she struggled with getting a design on, I told her it might help to get off the phone, and she flatly refused to. That ended our association, I'm afraid.

When it came to the manicures, each of us had some issue. It got decently busy right after we started our manicures and that's when the attention to detail stopped and we were rushed through the process. One of the workers made my friend bleed on 4 separate fingers due to cutting the cuticle too close which really wrecked the whole "relaxation" vibe. The same worker didn't clean up the gel around the finger and it was cutting into her skin on the sides of her nails. There was no consistency in services for any of us. One got a hand/arm massage with lotion, the others got oil rubbed on our cuticles and were told we were done. We will see how long the polish lasts but we will definitely not be returning.

Naturally, I was very alarmed. I told him not to apply new polish because I intended to go directly to my doctor. As I was paying, another employee, a female technician whose name I do not know, asked why I was leaving without having my nails polished. I explained what the first technician had told me. She examined my nails, took me back to a nail station, redid my manicure, and assured me that I did not have a fungal infection. She specifically stated that the previous technician "didn't know what he was talking about." She then applied new gel polish to my nails and advised me to soak my nails in salt water to help my cuticles. Based on her reassurance, I believed there was nothing medically wrong with my nails. Over the following weeks, I noticed unusual growth developing underneath my nails. When I returned to the salon on May 22, 2026, for another manicure, I expressed my concerns to the nail technician. My concerns were dismissed, and I was led to believe there was nothing to worry about. A couple of weeks later, I removed the gel polish myself and immediately saw significant damage to all of my nails. I scheduled an appointment with my physician, who confirmed that I have a fungal infection under all ten fingernails. I have now been prescribed oral antifungal medication, which I must take for at least six weeks, with the possibility of a longer course if the infection does not improve. I am extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled. The salon had an opportunity to encourage me to seek medical treatment when the infection was first identified. Instead, an employee assured me that there was no fungus, applied additional gel polish, and continued providing nail services despite my concerns. As a result, my diagnosis and treatment were delayed, allowing the infection to worsen. I am also concerned that if the salon knowingly performs services on clients with suspected fungal infections without proper precautions, it could place other customers at risk.

It has also built up a strong regular clientele, which probably contributes to this complacency. I tend to be pleasant and willing to enjoy a salon experience. However, when I walked in I was not greeted by anyone, including co-owners Tiffany and Tina, who clearly saw me arrive. My nails were done by a man who never introduced himself but just sat me down and began doing my acrylic fill. He was terse, uncommunicative and impatient. I was so uncomfortable and unhappy by the time I left that I could hardly wait to get out of there. I actually called the guy out on his rudeness when he took my money, telling him I had never felt so unwelcome in a nail salon. He could not have cared less. And I doubt the two owners cared, either. All the awards and praise in the world do not excuse treating a new client this way - it's just plain bad business practice, ladies!
