I can't WAIT until my girl gets back from Vietnam! I've been having to go to other salons and they are awful! This one was my latest... I arrived at 5:10 p.m.. I sat in a pedicure chair for about 10 minutes until they ran my water. The chair was THE best pedicure massage chair I've ever been in, so I didn't mind. My pedicure service began at about 5:25 p.m. and it was over by 5:45 p.m. I've never in my decades of pedicures gotten a 20 minute pedicure. They're usually 45-60 minutes! She zipped through it so quickly, paying no particular attention to the anything. Miraculously, the end result looked okay, so again, I wasn't too bothered. After my pedicure was finished, she started working on another client (taking her sweet time)... and didn't come back to me for a full 50 minutes to look at my nails. She said it was 30 minutes. I corrected her. It was another 10 (a full hour) before she actually started working on my dip. She apologized for the wait, but once again, she zipped through my dip so quickly... a mere 25 minutes when it's normally 65-75! I mean, why work so fast now? There were no other clients. Take your time with my nails and do a good job! She cut my nails way too short. She did next to nothing with my cuticles. And my final result shows ridges and file marks in my nails! She said she could fix it and asked me to come back tomorrow. WHAT?! You want me to waste MORE of my time so you can do what you should've done the first time? Hell to the no! She also told me my toes were dry, so I could put my socks and shoes on. WHAT?! Even I know how long toes take to dry and that socks basically for the rest of the day are a no no! While she was a nice person, what good is nice if you keep me waiting an hour and provide me with a terrible service? Never again. Please, Nancy. Come home soon! read more

Be forewarned, their regular "Classic Nails Art" pedicure is literally 15 minutes and it shows. Left polish all on my skin and just overall wasn't good or relaxing. She said you have to get a more expensive pedicure for it to be longer than 15 minutes and not rushed. I've never had a pedicure that was only 15 minutes. Such a waste of money. Could have done it at home. Worst pedicure I've gotten in two decades. The whole point of me going was to treat myself. Instead I played myself. As you can see from the pedicure menu I've posted, there is no indication that this is a 15 minute service. At least call it a "rapid" or "express" pedicure or something. She expected me to know that because it's "cheap" (26 dollars) that it's not a full pedicure and would only be 15 minutes. Never again. read more

I should have read the reviews before going here. I do have to say Linda was super sweet, but I am sorry the quality is not there. I paid 50 dollars for AN ACRYLIC OVERLAY that looks like this. And an extra 20 for an overlay removal! I asked for tips and square nails, but she said it was doable with my nails and only a few needed tips. Mind you my nails were long and pretty on my left hand and only my right hand really needed tips. She didn't end up doing tips and didn't end up doing what I wanted. I am really upset with the way my nails look and they hurt! My toe nails ended up being 69 and it is a very bad paint job!!! I am so embarrassed of both my toenails and my nails. I should just have waited and gone to a different salon. I was a walking and arrived at around 12:39 pm I did not leave until nearly 4 pm !!!!! It was mostly waiting time. read more

Horrible experience. I had to come here last minute because I got off late and my original nail tech was closed. I don't understand how this place's ratings are so high. My nails usually last 3-4 weeks when done correctly. The shine and luster of my nails was ruined by time I left the shop because she laid on the gel so quick then rushed me when I told her they weren't dry. Two of my nails broke already and the way they broke tells me she doesn't know how to lay acrylic properly. Also my white toe nail polish has turned colors. I'm praying it isn't fungi. I'm just overall disappointed with the service and don't feel like it was worth $100. I want my money back. read more

My family was in town visiting - first visit in over a COVID year. I took the afternoon off and we decided that pedicures were in order. I called to make an appointment for three people - but no one answered. Disappointing, but when you're busy! answering the phone can be a problem. Much to my delight, however, they called me right back. They could not get us in that afternoon, but could get three in the next morning (11 AM worked for us!). We arrived a bit early, but they were able to to get us situated in the massage chair while they finished with other customers and another manicurist came in to take care of us as well. Everyone was very friendly. The shop was very clean. My mom was complaining that her finger nails had really gotten beaten up going through the airport. She didn't want a full manicure, but she was really unhappy with her hands. Her manicurist said she could fix her hands, just clean them up really nice with a clear coat. I was a little worried because we hadn't made a mani-pedi appointment, just the pedicure! They re-assured us is wasn't a problem. They took care of both my 76 yo mom and my 65 yo (blind) family friend. Made them feel extra special. Thanks to Linda, Lily and all. read more

Only pro is that the ladies are somewhat friendly. I asked for gel mani and it's the worse job I've ever gotten done! first linda ruined my nail shape, causing them to be shorter that they were to begin with. I asked for square and she did round then when I pointed out that a couple were crooked she gave me the file to fix it myself. I should've just walked out then! Then I picked a color (Black) from their samples then she brings a different one that's more sheer. Having to add more layers because it's not opaque. After she finished I noticed few fingers had dents and they looked 2 weeks outgrown. So instead of buffing them down. She adds 2 more coats of color!! That's 5 layers of color and 2 of top coat. She did a messy job! gel polish on my skin nail edges, she never cleaned up. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and WASTE OF MONEY! read more

I asked for my nails to be cut down a little bit, and Linda cut them to my natural nail length (which if I have acrylics why would I want that). Linda was very sweet. She was very friendly and talked to me the whole time. But she did a terrible job painting my nails. She didn't even paint the part of my nails that had grown out. What a gem! This place definitely tops my list for nail salons in Richmond. After 3 solid visits I think it's time for a review! LOCATION- in Henrico's Bryan Park area this salon is easily accessible from I95 and 64. It's close by, but just far enough from downtown Richmond to avoid the crowds from the students in the area. So far I have been lucky enough to squeeze in without an appointment during my visits, but it is highly recommended. My normal routine is a gel manicure and a basic pedicure. PEDICURES- start at $25 and they have several upgraded options that feature additional services ( gel polish, callus removals, enhanced scrubs, longer massages etc.) As mentioned in previous reviews, the paraffin wax addition to the pedicure is absolutely FREE and absolutely AMAZING!! It's great for blood circulation and it leaves your feet feeling like freaking satin. GEL MANICURES- start at $25 with an additional $5 added if you have gel on your nails that needs to be removed. You can easily do an acetone treatment at home, but I'd say it's worth the five bucks. My personal favorites for service are Sara and Sun, however my friends and I have gone to the other technicians with great results. They are open late, most days until 8, so the staff may be different depending on when you go. Recently I expressed concerns that my nails were beginning to become brittle from so many gel manicures. This is when I found out that this is one of the only salons in the area that offers what's called Dip powder! DIP POWDER- is an all natural nail product that promotes growth and strength. It is harder and longer lasting than gel,and safer than acrylic. Dip powder costs $35 and must be removed after each visit as the color is in the dip. Upkeep will run about the same as acrylic at this shop. So far I am loving the results and will definitely be back in the next few weeks! read more

I gave this nail salon 3 stars because they could definitely use some updates and upgrades. The interior appears as if it hasn't been renovated since they opened. The other downfall was there were no prices listed anywhere. I was shown a menu of pedicure options with prices but that's it. So, I have no idea what they charged for the shellac polish, removal of shellac or my lip wax! On a more positive note, my nail tech Sun (forgive any misspelling) was very good. She was super nice, took her time and didn't make me feel rushed. I also liked that the utensils were autoclaved and she used a lot of alcohol and sanitizer. I usually try to avoid nail salons with the jetted tubs because of infection risk,but her efforts put me a little more at ease. There's also a cash only tip policy posted which I didn't like because I definitely would have tipped otherwise. I rarely have cash on me and I usually give good tips! Although this would not be my go to salon, I would probably go back if I made an appointment with Sun. read more

This is a pretty cute little nail salon. A really nice girl named Sun did my nails and she took great care of me. On the inside it's quaint and I love the skylights. The bathroom is super clean and comfortable. Pros: Good polish selection Paraffin wax with every pedicure! Fair prices nice staff convenient parking Cons: Not necessarily a con, but I prefer more modern salons if I really want to pamper myself. I also really like when salons open up a new pack of tools for each person, and I noticed that they didn't do that here. They all interact with you even if they're not the ones doing anything for you. I don't know the name of the girl that who did my pedicure but she did a great job. I wasn't expecting a paraffin wax and I honestly don't think I would've ever been against pedicures if my first experiences included one lol... Also Lilly did my fill in and she did a great job! So I am new to Richmond and was looking for a place to have my spa days. Went to a place on cart first but came here cause they actually had PARKING. First off the place is bright and clean and has sunlights in the roof above the pedicure chairs. It was nice and peaceful in there. The massage chairs are awesome they massage your butt . As for the service Anna is amazing she gave me a spa pedicure and manicure complete with callus remover and parrafin wax. She waxed my face. I mean I just felt pampered and complete distressed when I left. For all the services including a shoulder rub during my manicure $85. Will definitely be back. Yay found my new.
