I made an appointment for my soon to be 91 year-old dad to have his feet done by Mindy. She did such a fantastic job it's unbelievable! Obviously at his age he has a lot of nail issues, fungus issues, corns on the bottom of his feet, etc. She spent a little over three hours on him, and rightly so. When all was done, he said his feet haven't felt this good for as long as he can remember. She routed out a corn and left a natural pillow around it, he said it's like walking on air now. Amazing!! Mindy did a pedicure for my husband's birthday this month. I had an ingrown toenail on my big toe. I hate needles and thought I would give this a try. I've never had a pedicure before and Mindy made me feel very calm and safe. She did a thorough job of going through each nail and checking her work just to make sure she got everything. She would stop and make sure that I didn't experience any pain and would apologize for the situations in which she couldn't help (pulling the actual ingrown nails out). During the visit, she educated me about my feet and what had happened to some areas of my toes. Apparently, I had other ingrown toenails that I wasn't aware of in the past that never fully cleared. Lastly, she was very good at making sure to teach about preventative measures and how to take care of my feet after the pedicure. Although it will take a few days for my ingrown toenail to feel normal again, she taught me ways to help minimize the swelling and inflammation. For someone that's never had a pedicure before and never had an ingrown toenail this bad before, this was a great experience and would highly recommend if anyone is hesitant to go have needles at the doctor or just needs a pedicure. read more

I have been Mindy's faithful customer for over 3 years -- I get a mani + pedi regularly. I am diabetic and have lost some of the feeling in my feet. I have a toe nail that consistently grows a tab under the skin causing pain. Also when I first came to see Mindy I had a toe nail that had nail fungus. These are not issues that I was comfortable taking to a standard nail salon. I searched to find a person experienced in caring for diabetic feet and nails. Mindy is the rare person who was actually trained by a podiatrist! When you visit Mindy it is not a big place with lots of nail techs -- she is located in a medical building and you are her only customer. All services are by appointment only -- no drop ins. First I just want to shout out to Mindy and say THANK YOU! Mindy literally saved me a trip to the podiatrist or a very painful toenail extraction. I watched my son endure having two ingrown toenails surgically removed. The weeks that followed were full of pain, infection, draining, medicine and antibiotics. Needless to say, as a diabetic, I was scared to death to see I had an ingrown toenail just two weeks later! I searched and searched and found Mindy. Mindy saved me from surgery. I have had a few manicures and pedicures done over the past 40+ years at some of the "best" places. Always leaving with a few nicks and feeling I could have done a better job. Also, it's never been that relaxing. Time is of the essence in most places. Mindy is a jewel in every sense of the word. She is a perfectionist, very personable, and I've learned so much about my feet. I knew I had fungus on a couple of my toes - why I never felt comfortable at other salons. Always afraid they would transfer the fungus to other toes. But, I've learned that I also have some corns, calluses, a bunion, and possibly a bone spur. Mindy is meticulous about the hygiene when working on your feet which I greatly appreciate and never felt that sure of in all the other salons. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with my feet - and, now Mindy does my manicure as well. My feet and hands have never looked better. I have never, ever in my whole time of having every type finish put on my nails, had as perfect a job done.
