Customer service is 10/10! Shoutout to CK, Sony, and Lily at Legacy Plano Nails. From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming, attentive, and made sure I was taken care of. Lily did my pedicure and did an amazing job! I moved to the Plano/Legacy area this past winter, and although I was loyal to my previous nail salon, the distance and commute just weren't practical anymore. I'm big on great customer service and attentiveness, and I can officially say I've found my new nail home! I'll definitely be back for my next pedi and mani and plan on becoming a permanent customer. Kimmie did an amazing job on my nails! She was professional, attentive to detail, and made sure everything looked exactly how I wanted. My French tips came out clean, crisp, and beautifully shaped. I have been here several times but this week was the final time. I'm unfortunately used to salons rushing through what should be a nice, relaxing experience. But on Wednesday, at a calm, quiet 130pm, I had my worst experience. I was knicked so many times I have had to apply Neosporin every few hours to my cuts. Four of my fingers have throbbed for 48 hours. The male tech could have cared less when I was jumping in the seat each time he clipped to close or aggressively filed on raw skin. He rushed so much and for no good reason. The gentleman at the main desk asked how my service was, I said terrible and that I was pushed and pulled and cut multiple times. He says "Sorry." Didn't look at my fingers or even take $5 off. The only reason I am writing this review at all is because it's been over 48 hours and my hands still hurt! It hurts to pull my socks and sneakers on. Crazy from a stupid manicure. read more

The nail techs who provided my service were kind, professional, and did a great job. Because of them, I am willing to give this business another chance. Unfortunately, my interaction with the gentleman at the front desk was very different. He is usually pleasant, but when I returned a couple of days ago for a repair, he spoke to me loudly and seemed easily frustrated. The interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Everyone can have an off day, and I'm hoping that's all this was. However, when I pay or have paid for a service, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect. I'm hoping my next visit will reflect the positive experience I've had with the nail techs. read more

I was just there today for a dip manicure with tips. When you arrive, they give you a service menu with the listed prices, so I knew what I expected to pay. However, when it was time to check out, my bill was about $20 higher than expected. The additional charges were for things like tip removal, nail shaping, and other services that were added without discussing the extra cost beforehand. I don't mind paying for additional services, but I do expect to be informed before they're performed. My advice is to ask for the total price before you sit down so there are no surprises at checkout. Unfortunately, I wasn't happy with the unexpected charges. read more

Stephanie and Savannah did a fabulous job on my gel mani and legacy pedi. I really enjoyed my experience at Legacy Nails. I recently relocated to the area and a few days after my movers arrived and I'd completed all of my move in duties I took a chance on a different nail salon. That experience was absolutely horrific and I'd been waiting a couple of weeks to heal from an incident that occurred with a tech there. I loved everything about my visit to Legacy. They are clean and professional. The salon is decorated in a classy manner and everyone who works here is dressed so nicely. They had a steady stream of clientele who all seemed happy to be here and regulars. I feel pretty confident this will be my go to salon. I'm excited to return when it's time. I typically get a mani/pedi every 2-3 weeks and have been going to the same salon for almost 25 years. Making a switch and putting your trust into a new place to do a great job is something that isn't always easy especially after being traumatized from the first new chance you took. I'm not the easiest to please and I was pleased! I love that here in Texas you get adult bevvies at the salon. I sure as heck moved to the right town! I had two mimosas on my visit. I recently went here after about a year after I left town for a while. I guess this place got bought out. I got a mani/pedi for $190 before tip. Toes were gel & jelly expensive, she did a great job. Nails, they nickel & dime you for EVERYTHING & they don't even look very good. They make you watch chickens being cut up in a factory on tv its pretty gross. NOT SPA like or relaxing. read more

Everyone here was so nice and welcoming! I got a mani-pedi with French tips and gel, and it turned out beautifully. Amazing experience - first time in and Christina did her big one! She did a custom color, definitely is a hue guru! My daughters and I made an appointment and headed straight over. The entire establishment is very professional. Between the 3 of us we had 2 pedicures, 1 full set and 1 regular manicure. They all worked efficiently and were very friendly. Sonny did my pedicure and he was very engaging (I love to talk). The massage was great! We were there long enough to see interactions with several costumers and it was all consistent. The shop is well decorated, which adds to the comfort. Had been going here a lot for pedicures but stopped a few months ago. The quality went down. I would always give my tech a huge tip. She asked for it in cash to avoid paying taxes because theyre all 1099 -which sucks for them. Last time I went I spent a couple hundred dollars on my and my partners pedicure & I must of forgotten the tip at the machine. My nail tech Sophia actually texted me and said "Excuse me but where's my tip". That day she was distracted and didn't even do a good job as usual so I have stopped going here and advise you too. Also they do seem to use unpacked nail tools which I think is a violation of health code. Too bad that the quality declined! You lost a loyal customer read more

I walked in last Monday because I was in the area and got dip nails done by Kimberly. I could immediately tell they were not going to be good although she was really sweet. She didn't use a primer or dehydrator and she applied the dip all over my fingers. She did them so thick that it nearly hurt and I knew they would come off super quick since they extended all the way to my skin and cuticles. Today the pinky nail broke and there is fungus all over my nails that were so healthy and long I know it's because they lifted within the first day because of how she did them and I should have gotten them removed immediately but didn't have time. read more

We agreed to $65 for this service but they ended up charging me $80. In the first 48 hours, it starts to lift. Pieces of the liquid UV gel are coming off. When I got to the nail salon, they gave me a guy who was extremely rude. He kept trying to talk me out of getting French. He was extremely aggressive with filing my nails. My one nail actually started bleeding. He was upset that I wouldn't get just one plain color. But that wasn't why I made the appointment. I made the appointment for French. They handed me off to a female who painted my nails. She told me that nobody at the store likes to do French. It took over 1.5 hours to do my nails. They look ghetto. Awful service. It was a great to find Plano Legacy Nail & Spa after so many trial and error with finding an ideal nail salon after moving to Plano, TX. I highly recommend Kimberly for nails and JoJo for pedicure. I came in four days ago to get my Hoco nails done, and I left unsatisfied with my manicure. The girl who did my nails didn't do a great job but the manager was very kind and offered to give me a discount income again when I could. I came in today and had my nails redone exactly how I wanted them to be by Christina. Besides Mimi, I've had amazing experiences with the workers here some examples are sonny Christina and the manager. I think something that really stands out is their ability to correct if they make a mistake. I highly recommend and applaud the worth ethic here. read more

Nina worked on my nails and was hopping in between clients and rushing through my nails as if she was the only person there (several other nail techs available, but she said she was the only one that could). Even with other nail techs working she was "helping them" and saying " she doesn't know how , but I have to do it" but the other tech was having clients walk out and pay to what must've been a fine job. I assumed Nina would be the best, but she managed to cut my skin and cause me to bleed multiple times. Three days later, I had a nail fall off and another on the way out. Pictures below show 3 days old wounds, while the last one was the new wound after it was fixed. Not only that, I asked for French tips with a specific color. She started going up my nail bed with the paint in which I asked her if that was the final product or was she going to do a clean up. She told me that if I wanted "classic" French tips I should've said that because she assumed I wanted curvy (?). I had to show her a picture of what French tips were because she claimed to have no idea what I was talking about. As someone that has gotten my nails done for over 10 years, I've only ever had to ask for French tips. I've actually never heard of curvy French tips and idk why someone would assume otherwise. James did a great job on my feet which is the only reason i would give even a single star!

Absolutely gorgeous and everyone here is so incredibly kind. Huge attention to being sanitary and and takes all the necessary cleaning process. The place is spotless! Had the very best pedicure for less than other places charge. You've got to go see my girl Nina, she is the BEST in the business. Despite repeatedly informing Stephanie about my preferences, my nails were done sloppily, and the coat of polish applied was excessively thick. While I understand people have bad days, there's no excuse for treating a regular client with such disregard. To make matters worse, the quality of the service was beyond disappointing. A simple French tip manicure, which should be basic for any nail technician. My service took 2 hours to complete and turned out absolutely awful. The lines are uneven, the polish is sloppy, and it looks like something I could've done myself at home. I have never left a nail appointment anywhere feeling this dissatisfied and frustrated. What's most upsetting is that I'm leaving for vacation in a couple of days and don't have time to fix this disaster. It's incredibly frustrating to pay for a service, especially from someone you've trusted for months, and be treated so poorly while walking away with nails that look worse than when you arrived. Sadly, after this experience, I won't be returning and will be taking my business elsewhere. Loyalty should be valued, and today it was made very clear that it isn't.

I'm 9 months pregnant about to give be birth any day now! I obviously do not speak their language, but anyone can read body language. It was clear they were talking rudely about me. I felt really uncomfortable from there on out. The tech then did a half assed pedicure (which I was expecting based on her horrible attitude). After I waited for my toes to dry I went to the register to pay, and the lady checking me out tried to charge me $50! An extra $5 more........... I had to mention that I called prior and was told it would be $45, she then says "oh you called earlier" as if she was shocked she couldn't pull that bs on me. She then changed the price back to $45 but I was still pissed, they tried to hustle me out of more money and of course we're expecting a tip which they damn sure didn't get! I paid and left, never coming back and highly suggest nobody else come here either. They do janky business!

For a salon located on Legacy and charging premium prices, I would expect a much higher level of care and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been the opposite. They tried to intervene and show the lady what to do. The lady working on my nails kept looking at my feet and laughing. Then she would look at me and say "oh I'm just teasing her" The owner offered to fix my nails and apologized, she tried to fix them but how do you fix the fact that the lady dug way into the nail bed. The owner had to completely remove all of the nail polish and start over from cuticle removal, filing, bluffing, and then the nail polish. I called ahead to make sure there was availability, I got there at 8 and sat for 45 minutes before someone came to me. Every five minutes the lady would come and tell me just five minutes more. It is now 11pm and I'm still sitting here. You might read through this and ask why I didn't say anything in the first place, my big toe that she messed up was the first toe she worked on. And I tried several times to tell her that she was hurting me. A lady was simultaneously working on my hands and I looked away for just a few moments to answer a question from the lady who was doing my hands. By the time I looked back to my toes, damage was done. My 6 year old daughter could have done a better job. Never ever returning to this place.

I came in with a few dip nails lifting and had to cut them super short. I asked for very short oval or almond-shaped nails, showed reference photos, and politely explained what I was hoping for. However, I had to repeat a few things multiple times, including wanting all my nails the same short length. In the end, the shape came out round, not quite what I asked for, which was disappointing. The appointment took from 12 to 3 PM, and after sitting for so long, my back was in pain. I had to keep shifting and eventually asked to move to a different chair, which they were kind enough to allow, though I wish someone had checked in earlier to make sure I was comfortable. There was also a mix-up with the top coat. When he applied it, it stayed gummy, and the manager or owner had to step in and completely redo the dip, taking time away from another customer. I felt really bad about that. Even after the fix, the final product unfortunately wasn't up to par. It's now only been a week, and the dip is already lifting and catching in my hair, when normally it lasts me three weeks. As for my pedicure, the woman who worked on my toes was great, also very nice and gentle. But again, I had to politely repeat my preferences for shape and length a couple of times before it was right. All in all, the people here are lovely, the salon is immaculate, and there's a lot to appreciate. But from my experience, I'd say there's still room for improvement in technique and customer comfort during long appointments. I also found the price to be a bit higher than expected, especially given the quality and longevity of the dip. I truly hope the young tech gets the training and support he needs. He has a great attitude and demeanor, which is a solid foundation. I'd love to return in the future once they've had a bit more experience under their belt.

Last month I struck out at 2 other places with long waits and came here and got right in. They were very attentive and gave me a discount coupon to come back. So I went back today and had the best pedicure I've ever had from the man that was working. He really took his time prepping my nails; I was very impressed! They also do discounts Mon-Thurs until 2:30pm. I think I finally found my go-to salon!

Although the pedicure was okay, I wish it would have been better. While filing my toenails, she barely touched them or shaped them. The callous removal was bare minimum. Now for my nails on my hand... I should have went with my first thought and just got the pedicure and that's it but I thought... why not? I definitely regret that now. I wanted acrylic nails but had heard so much about Gel-X nails and was curious. I asked the tech that was sitting next to us what the difference is between acrylic and Gel-X and she really couldn't tell me. Had she said that Gel-X is just clear press-on nails, I would have gotten acrylic like I wanted in the first place. Then she asks so do you want hand massage, cuticle's trimmed and cuticle oil? I'm thinking to myself, "Doesn't that usually come with the service" and that's what I said... she didn't respond. So the I give the picture to the young lady that I thought was going to do my nails. Told her that I wanted short almond shaped. She soaks my nails and trims my cuticles and then a guy sits down. This experience is NOTHING like any other time I've got my nails done. He's sizing every single nail, files them all individually and puts the glue on them. This is the exact same way you put on press-ons. Once he's done with the first hand, I show him that my thumb, index and middle fingers are all crooked and need to be fixed. He just nods his head and says, "I file". So I'm thinking there's a way that he's going to file them that will align them more with my fingers. NOPE! He finishes the second hand and begins to file the nails so they're even more crooked than before. I tell him again and nothing. I told him I wanted almond shaped. NOPE! Stiletto nails it is... SMH! He starts polishing them and the first coat is uber transparent. So I'm thinking the next coat will fix that. NOPE! Okay, maybe a third coat will fix it. NOPE! Ya'll see my nails. They're even more hideous than the pictures. I absolutely HATE THEM! I know I shouldn't have paid but I didn't want to be the angry black lady throwing a fit because I was ready to blow a gasket! DO NOT go to this place! This is why I stopped going to these salons and go to individuals who actually LISTEN when you ask for what you want!
