I'm really sad to have to write this review because I've left a glowing one here before and have always loved this place. Unfortunately, today was not the experience I expected for a mom-and-daughter date. My daughter showed a reference photo of the color she wanted. After one hand was completed, I noticed the color was much lighter than the photo and politely mentioned it. The technician corrected it, but from that moment on, she seemed visibly upset and began mumbling to other technicians, which made both my daughter and me very uncomfortable. She finished the service but walked away before the nails had time to dry and before applying cuticle oil, immediately starting on another client. Another technician eventually came over to finish that step. I still tipped well because everyone has off days, but the way the situation was handled left a lasting impression especially since my daughter was there to witness it. I believe mistakes happen, and I had no issue asking for a simple correction, but the reaction was unnecessary and unkind. We drove from Rockwall to Richardson specifically because of how much I've enjoyed this salon in the past. Sadly, with so many other options along the way, I wish we had chosen differently this time. This experience was disappointing, and it makes me sad to say I won't be returning. read more

This place has been my new favorite! I have not tried them with a design but for a simple color and shape they have that down. They don't have a TON of colors, but they've had enough so far. The first few times I went in they charged for everything - shape, long nails, etc. I was paying like $65 for just a color and to keep the shape I already had and it was on my own natural longer nail. The last few times I went I've been getting the better pricing around $45-$50. Not a huge fan how it changes based on person but other than that I'm happy. read more

I've brought my girls to candle nail spa for a few years now for Christmas nails. We've always had a great experience. They've done little designs on their nails like snowmen and snowflakes. This year however it just wasn't the same. The owner and the receptionist made us feel very rushed and didn't try to seat us together. They didn't offer us drinks and said the girls (7 and 8) had to get gel polish if we wanted designs. I said we didn't want gel but they continued to pressure me about it. I didn't feel the normal warmth and kindness at all. We were saved by the technician who painted their nails, Emily, who was very sweet and helped me feel better after the rough start. Bless her. I think next year we'll find a new spot. read more

I was in town visiting from Cali. (I'm a Texas Native) I decided to stay at a Hotel in legacy west and found this amazing nail spa. As soon as you walk in you see their full blown bar. You are greeted upon walking in and sat down right away. I was given a service menu along with a drink menu. They turned in my seat massager for me which has a butt massager too. They drinks actually come in glasses and not plastic cups like other places and the drink choice is extensive. They have over 20 pedi chairs and the interior design is great. So boom... I'm taking a quick weekend getaway and my normal girl is on vacation, so I found this highly-rated nail shop on Yelp. Overall it was a pleasant experience: nice massage chairs, full bar like my normal place (the champagne pours were outstanding), personable technicians, and not sure who picked the playlist today, but it was bomb. Old school R&B for the win. That being said, I've gotten more from a pedicure (including hot stones) for less than their mid-priced pedicure (I got the $63 one for reference) and the 15-minute massage that's highlighted on the menu could have been a lot stronger/more pressure. The price for a dip/ombre is fairly comparable to other places, so if I go back, it'd be for nails only... though they charged a fee for the unique shapes. I've never experienced that before. I was charged $5 for almond shape even though my nails were already almond shaped when I arrived. I don't live in this area but if I did, I could see why someone would go here often if most places around it with similar amenities are similarly priced. So if I went back, it would likely be another "emergency" visit after getting my hair done. All that said, I'm rating it a four lol thank you for listening. read more

I told the owner shortly after my shoes went missing and he asked specifically what the shoes looked like and that he would be on the lookout. This place was awesome! Everyone was very friendly. It's really big and they have plenty of seating for pedicures and manicures. They had so many people working and they weren't stressed even though they stayed busy. They have a bunch of drink options too and they're all free. You can also make appointments online which I really like. Ivy did my dip manicure and was fun to talk to. She made sure I was happy every step of the way. She helped me pick the perfect color and made sure I was happy with the shape. May be my new go to place for pedicures!! Beautiful nail salon and the customer service is excellent! My girlfriend and I dropped in for the first time. We were immediately greeted and asked what we'd like to drink while we wait. The drinks were excellent and there's a drink menu to choose from. The place was semi busy but the wait wasn't long. $35 for a classic pedicure with callous removal and the ladies did a great job. I love my toes and I've gotten a lot of compliments on them! They will text you a confirmation shortly after your request. I love that this saved me time as I was going to be on s tight time schedule. The salon is clean and just lovely. Staff kindly greeted me when I arrived, escorted me yo the like new spa chairs, took my drink order (lots yo choose from) and immediately went to work. If you are looking for a new nail salon, I highly recommend trying here. They offer additional services like facials, waxing and lashes. My friend and I stopped by. She is new to Dallas and we were looking for a nail salon. Initially, I wasn't going to get a service done but then I went with a pedi. The owners were super friendly and warm. Place is pretty big and really clean and well lit. Music playing was also nice. Complimentary drinks were offered which was nice of them despite me initially not getting a service. I decided to get a pedi and I loved it. Basic pedi with add on callus remover ($7.00 up charge) total came out to I believe $42.00. The person doing my pedi did a great job and super friendly. I would recommend! Loved this salon! It was packed but everyone was attentive to my nèeds. As a male am always a bit aprehensive to note I want color but when I asked the response was great and put me at ease. It was probably not one of my better dip nail manicures. Unfortunately I was so busy with going back to work that I didn't get a chance to go get them fixed. I'll just know better in the future. Had to broken nails & told her these are the shortest so let's just match them as close as we can. Asked again. Repeated. She rolled her eyes at me. I was already there so continued. Two fingers filed raw ! Asked if she was going to disinfect. Don't even know what she put on me. Two fingers made it home. Peroxide & wrapped in bandaids. read more
