I mentioned this before booking because I know most salons primarily work with gel polish. The receptionist confirmed they could accommodate my request, although they had a limited selection of regular polish colors. She even offered to text me photos of the available colors, which she did. During our conversation, I explained that I have contact dermatitis, which is why I normally choose regular nail polish instead of gel. Even after I explained this, I felt I was repeatedly encouraged to switch to gel. I even said that if regular polish truly wasn't an option, I would consider trying gel despite my concerns. Instead of honoring the appointment they had already agreed to, I received a message stating they would not provide the service because of my contact dermatitis and that they would be refusing service altogether. I completely respect a business's right to decline services for safety or liability reasons. However, what I found disappointing was that my appointment was initially accepted after I clearly explained I wanted regular polish, only for the decision to change after I disclosed my medical condition. I would have appreciated clear communication from the beginning rather than being led to believe the appointment was confirmed.

Rubie has been taking care of my nails for over 3 years. I wouldn't go to anyone else. She has over 15 years experience, and does a beautiful job every time. I've been getting acrylics for about 6 years and always struggled with them turning yellow. The products Rubie uses are excellent quality, my nails never turn yellow and hold up great for 3 weeks before its time for a fill. Not to mention her rock star, Hollywood, or Gelish toes are amazing. They last for 6 weeks and look beautiful. Since I've been going to Rubie, I always get compliments on my nails. Also, she just recently did my lashes! They look great and were really fun. I've moved all over the bay area but still make the trip to see Rubie, because of the quality of her work. She stays up on the latest trends and when it comes to nails, she can do anything you want! I highly recommend making the trip to see Rubie, you won't be disappointed. :) read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE…read more I have been going to EUPHORIA for one year. I've even referred my sisters and mom, who now go there. My last manicure service was rushed as they either double booked or didn't block out enough time for appointments. Within a week my thumb had lifted and ended up completely ripping my natural nail off. The other nails were completely outgrown out as Mishka rushed through and didn't apply the gel close enough to my cuticle. I schedule a full set because all my nails needed to be redone. I was fully prepared to pay the full amount but the attitude towards my experience was the worst. Extremely entitled and not once did Mishka or Miko the owner apologize. What makes it worse was the initial appointment was for my BIRTHDAY. They wanted to charge me additionally for the nail that lifted. The only person that said anything was the woman who works the front desk. Evening stating that she didn't think I should have to pay full price because of the circumstances. My nails lifted within 7 days and I had to rebook a whole set literally two week from my initial one. I would have come as soon as they lifted but I had work, and when I sat down with Mishka, I let her know what I experienced. No apology, no acknowledgment, if anything she seemed irritated that I even mentioned anything. I paid full price again, but when I got home I just felt like that def. could have been handled better. I called to express my disappointment and the owner said "I'll text you," again no sorry, no acknowledgment NOTHING. So I went back and asked for a refund. The owner wouldn't even acknowledge me and Mishka said I'll be with you. Nobody got up nothing, safe to say I will not be returning ever. As they expand and grown with their own gels etc I truly hope that they take this as a learning lesson. Customer service should be a top priority . I was a loyal customer who scheduled regularly and always tipped 20% and who even referred them business.
