I want to share my experience so others are aware. When I called to schedule a pedicure, I specifically asked if I could have regular nail polish with a French tip. I mentioned this before booking because I know most salons primarily work with gel polish. The receptionist confirmed they could accommodate my request, although they had a limited selection of regular polish colors. She even offered to text me photos of the available colors, which she did. During our conversation, I explained that I have contact dermatitis, which is why I normally choose regular nail polish instead of gel. Even after I explained this, I felt I was repeatedly encouraged to switch to gel. I even said that if regular polish truly wasn't an option, I would consider trying gel despite my concerns. Instead of honoring the appointment they had already agreed to, I received a message stating they would not provide the service because of my contact dermatitis and that they would be refusing service altogether. I completely respect a business's right to decline services for safety or liability reasons. However, what I found disappointing was that my appointment was initially accepted after I clearly explained I wanted regular polish, only for the decision to change after I disclosed my medical condition. I would have appreciated clear communication from the beginning rather than being led to believe the appointment was confirmed. read more

You guys... I have never been to anywhere else that my gel nails would be last for months like here! They use high quality of nail polish and their nail technicians are super pay attention to details. I usually do my nails with Joyce. She's really nice and skilled. The vibe is clean and friendly. There's no smells of any chemical, al, or nails polish like somewhere else. The price wise, I think it depends on you, but here you get what you paid for. The newest location of the Paint Nail franchise that opened recently. The lovely Celeste runs this branch and manages her clients with a professional attitude. The technicians mostly speak mandarin, but they're very kind and friendly. I felt incredibly pampered (to the point that I fell asleep during the steam treatment LOL) while Lisa did my facial. I got the hydration package, which took about 2 hrs and had a ton of steps involved. From this experience, I have realized how dry my skin is and that I need to put on more moisturizer as part of my daily skincare routine. My skin was glowing and flawless after the beauty treatment. I didn't have time to try the nail designs, but there are a lot of cute n trendy options available. I would highly recommend this beauty salon to anyone looking for a refreshing facial, whether it's for an upcoming wedding or for personal quarterly maintenance :) read more

Really enjoyed this facial! I heard about this place when I saw on ads on Instagram, and decided to book the valentines specials which includes the 24k and the magnetic detox. I booked it for myself and my mom, and we both enjoyed it so much! They were so lovely and paid such good attention to our skin! The massages were so amazing and the staff really cared for us. This is my favorite salon in the entire Bay Area to get facials and nails. Paint Nail is a franchise that has been expanding rapidly and this Pleasanton location is their newest addition. I specifically love this location because the aesthetics are *chefs kiss* and I always feel like I'm treated so well here. All the technicians and the front desk are so nice and welcoming! THE NAILS The nail designs here are so cute. The nail techs really care about giving you a beautiful set of nails, even if it means a three hour session to get the most intricate designs. All the nail techs really have an eye for what is popular in Asia. For instance, cat eye gel nails are really in style and they have soooo many cat eye colors. They also offer a special Gel X technique that keeps the nail on a lot longer than other nail salons. THE FACIALS It is winter season and, as a dry skin girlie, my skin needs HELP. In this store they have a special skincare machine where they analyze your face and tell you exactly what is "wrong". I already knew going in that i had dry skin but I was sooo shocked when I found out my moisture levels were 28% (really bad). The machine also estimates your "skincare age" and I got 4 years younger than my actual age (which made me feel a bit better haha) Because of my dry skin, I was recommended to get the salmon egg facial with microneedling. The facial lasted about 90min and included face cleaning, massage, steam, extractions, UV light, and the salmon egg with needling. My skin immediately looked so hydrated and amazing. I was FaceTiming my sister the next day and she randomly commented that my face looked so smooth and good. She didn't even know I had a facial. The RESULTS speak for themselves! ADDITIONAL DETAILS Many of their clients are Chinese so a lot of the menus have Chinese characters on them, but there always English translations as well. I cannot read Chinese at all and I've never had any communication issues. Parking is never an issue, because Paint Nail Pleasanton is located in a plaza, sharing a huge parking lot with many restaurants and stores. I'm literally here at least once a month. Getting a facial or my nails done is such a relaxing break from the stressfulness of every day life. My favorite place for self care is Paint Nail. I cannot wait to try their eyelash extensions as well. read more

I had a wonderfully relaxing experience at Paint Nail Beauty Spa in Pleasanton. The entire session took about 1 hour and 45 minutes, starting with a skin scan analysis that revealed my skin was quite dry. Based on that, I opted for the salmon facial for hydration and brightening, which was expertly done by Lydia. While the blemish extraction was a little uncomfortable, the rest of the treatment--the hot and cold therapy, serums, light therapy, and the face, neck, and scalp massage--was absolute heaven. I was greeted by the manager who was friendly and very informative - I had a lot of questions about the services they provided. I mentioned that I was looking to get gel x, but had on acrylic and had half of my nails broken - she assured me that this was no issue for them. I was paired with Joyce, who was diligent and detail oriented. I appreciated how she was able to preserve my natural long nails with hard gel while fixing my broken nails with gel x extensions. My go to is always a neutral pink jelly color, and I was delighted to see so many options - I decided to go with RO4. I also loved the zen and peaceful environment created by the wooden neutral tones and soft music - it really tied together the entire experience!
