This was my first pedicure EVER, so I have no frame of reference. However, I can tell you the shop seemed busy, we were treated well (my two sisters were with me), and except for being a tad difficult to get in and out of my chair, it was a great experience. My technician was Christy (apologies if I've misspelled that) and she was thorough, efficient, and personable. I found the pedicure to be relaxing both during and afterward. My feet felt and looked great. They still do. Given this one experience I'm sold as to the value and plan on going back. Moreover, I'll ask for Christy when I do. The only punitive deficits are the lack of Apple Pay, the inability to leave anything but a cash tip, a 5% penalty for using plastic payment vectors, and the tight spacing of pedicure chairs. I can definitely recommend Nails By T&V. *I stand corrected - They DO take Apple Pay and despite signage to the contrary the option to tip with plastic is viable. My bad and due to those deficits that weren't, I see no reason why I can't give them 5 well deserved stars! read more

I thought I had found my new favorite nail salon but have changed my mind after today. For the good news, I will say that the service/manicure is done very fast. Their ad says how clean and sanitary they are. NOT TRUE! All utensils are used repeatedly and not cleaned or sanitized between customers as far as I could tell. To say they aren't clean is an understatement. Also, cuticles are not cut or pushed back unless asked for. That used to be part of the manicure. Finally, the price is the highest I have ever paid for a dip powder. For those reasons, I won't be returning to T & V. read more

This place sucks. My nails look like squares and I asked for more along the lines of coffin shape. My pedicure felt amazing but she used Gel polish on my toes when I did not ask for it. I asked for a French tip and expected polish. So they charged me an an additional $20 for that. When I was checking out I mentioned my concerns and she offered to remove the gel and I said "sure", the lady proceeded to turn around to the woman who did my pedi and began a convo with her, looked at me and said "well she said she double checked with you". No one smiles, no one is nice, no one is friendly. And I have no issue hearing Vietnamese/Cantonese languages but when only one person seems to speak English, it makes communication REALLY hard. $147 when I should have paid $120 and my results were BAAADDDDD!!!! read more

My daughters and I went here the day before her wedding to get manicures. My stylist was VERY rude. He was obviously not happy I was sent to his station. He did not say a word to me the whole time. I said I wanted my nails rounded, he cut them square and short! He then proceeded to be very chatty to the next lady. That was very offensive. I don't know if it was because I wanted a regular manicure, or what, but I spent $240 there. My daughter's stylist upsold her and doubled the cost of what she wanted. Everytime I walk in they're asking if I have a picture of a design I want. They try to duplicate, and then add them to their catalog like it's an original idea. After washing dishes I had two nails break, where the nail tips were applied. This is after getting a fill and a gel color change, 3 days before. When I returned to the shop and explained what happened and that I need a new set; because I seen this becoming a reoccurring issue. I was greeted with an attitude, and told that they will only repair the broken nails. I was rushed out of the chair, with half dry gel; that started peeling a hour after leaving the shop. My two kids and I each had pedicures without polish with three different employees. First of all, they charge $5 more than the base $32 pedicure for callous removal, which should be included. All three pedicures were terrible with not enough nail trim, uneven nail trims and rough nail edges. I didn't realize this until we got home and I had to retrim and file my daughter's nails. It was my first time there and my last. I called ahead and asked if they accepted walk ins. They told me yes so upon arrival I was placed with Yen. I opted for the basic pedicure and she proceeded to tell me my heels were crusty and that I needed to upgrade to a less basic pedicure. I laughed it off and said sure. My pedicure was probably less than 15 minutes total, for $57. My phone was practically dead so I just laid in the massage chair with my eyes closed. Aware of the pedicure and my surroundings. She skipped the massage part completely and when I asked her if she did all of the steps she brushed me off and told me to go sit at a specific chair so that I could get started on my nails. As she was rushing me over I picked up the service menu to read everything that particular treatment offered. Well, she didn't like that and then started screaming at me about how they had cameras and she did what she was supposed to do. I looked at her and asked her, "Why are you yelling at me? You're causing a scene" I even apologized to her and told her if she had not skipped that step I apologize for assuming. However, I can assure you multiple steps were skipped. I was so humiliated. After she had everyone in the salon looking at me and continued to yell, I asked the guy doing my nails to stop the service so I could pay for my pedicure and leave. I was not going to be treated that way. He talked me into staying and Yen finally went away. I literally cried the whole time I was so embarrassed. The owner did not step in once. I should've just left then. After a while Yen came back and told me she'd massage my legs and feet when I was done. I politely told her no thank you, she had done enough. She would not let it go and began causing another scene. I told her to leave me alone. So I go to pay and the owner tells me that Yen didn't mean it and that she just rushed my service and basically gas lit me the entire time. I paid in full and after that they offered to give me a coupon while continuing to tell me she didn't mean to yell at me. What?? I will say - Lee, the gentleman who did my nails was so kind and he did a wonderful job. He tried to make the situation better. If I were to ever step foot inside this salon again it would be for him only. The owner never once apologized for Yen's awful outburst or behavior instead she made me feel like I was dumb for being upset over how I was treated. I will never ever ever go back to this salon. I work in the beauty industry and whether a client is right or wrong I would never speak to anyone that way. I only gave 1 star and that was for Lee! My teenage daughter went here for a dip. Before asking what she wanted they told her they needed to trim her nails but instead chopped them off completely and tried repeatedly to upsell her tips. But she told them she's not allowed to get tips. Still the issue kept being pressed. When I called them, the gentleman who answered lied that he was the manager and offered the solution was add tips. When I finally talked to the real manager, she offered the same solution to add tips to fix the problem. Her second solution was that my daughter should grow her nails out and they will change the color... Very scandalous business to take advantage of a teenage girl for the sake of up-charging. My favorite nail salon in the Liberty area! I would always suggest making an appointment because they can get super busy, especially on the weekends. My favorite nail tech, and part owner of the salon, Tracy does such a good job on my dip powder nails. I've also had several pedicures here and never have any complaints. The prices are pretty consistent with other salons in the area, but they have a couple bonus perks that I enjoy. One of those perks is their loyalty program. You get a punch card and after 5 visits you get $5 off your next service. You also get a discount on your birthday and anniversary month of when you signed up. They also give you a break on your total when you pay and tip with cash. read more

I went in saying I wanted to get gel and they told me it was more expensive than to get dip. I asked how much the difference was, they answered saying dip was $42 and gel was $50. It was my first time going to Nails by T&V and it will probably be my last. I asked for a French full set with dip powder and the nail tech I got must have be new because it took so long and the manager or owner or whomever had to come and file and buff because she was so slow. Also the top coat was not fully dry and it smudge which I told the tech and she tried to fix it but it didn't turn out well. It was a simple French set which is why you can tell when there's imperfections. They were very nice but I think I will be going somewhere else. read more

I got a dip set a little over 2 weeks ago and was not pleased. My nails were chipping and breaking after 1 day. I reached out via Facebook and they offered to repair them. Great! Today I went in for a new set and they placed me with the same tech who ruined my nails the previous week. I told her and she swore it was not her. She began applying the false tip with a bottle labeled "base coat." I asked her why she was using nail polish and she magically didn't understand me. I decided to pay $5 for the removal and leave. Then they explained that it was $10 to remove. No one apologized. No one explained anything to me besides I needed to pay $10. Customer service is TRASH these days. read more

I have nails that aren't straight and she didn't shorten them like I asked! she also didn't round them more! you also can still the polish from my last nail color is still on some of my nails! Went as a walk in as I didn't have time to go to usual salon. Nail tech tore my existing dip nail set from my nails without soaking. She pried them off with clippers and a nail tip that she used to wedge under the edge of the nail. When I asked her to please soak in acetone and stop prying them off. She did for about 2 minutes and ground off the softened nail and proceeded to put the new dip powder on top of the old. They are uneven and lumpy and only one top coat that isn't even. Everyone in the salon are very nice, hard working, and will please any customer who comes through. The place is cleaned and well kept. I even had a nail break, which was my fault, and they fixed it with no cost. I know several people who have been here and said nothing but good things about it. You will love this place. I have been enjoying going to "Nails by T & V" in Liberty for 2 years now. I would always brag on the cleanliness, professionalism and cheerful staff there. However, my last 2 visits I noticed a MAJOR decline in their services and their staffs less than cordial attitudes. As a matter of fact,my LAST visit (Which is what it will be MY LAST VISIT) I had an older female that did not speak or even look at me the entire time. She rushed through my nail process,skipped steps (as she literally looked around to see if any staff was watching her). Perhaps she has been in trouble for this before? My nails went to crap the first week-chipping and part of 2 nails polish just peeled off completely! I WILL NOT go back there and I plan to pass the word of my disappointment! I don't get my nails done frequently but when I do I usually come here. This time was no different, I arrived at 11:05 and was told there may be a small wait, no big deal, I began picking which colors I wanted (they have a HUGE selection!). I was brought over to the pedicure station at 11:17 and by the time someone came over to help me, the water was cold. It was 11:35 when someone finally came and started on my pedi. I asked if there was anyway he could make the water warmer and he said yes and did so which was very nice! I thought there may be a menu on which kind of pedicure I was going to get, maybe including the pricing, but he went right in, this could be due to the whole COVID situation though as I have received this option in the past. The pedicure was nice and relaxing, nothing less or more than what I expected. Moving on to my nails, he made sure to take his time and didn't make me feel rushed at all. I got a gel mani and 2 weeks later I only have a couple chips. Come to the end of the appointment and I was COMPLETELY surprised at the cost. The total was in the $60-$70 range and I was totally caught off guard!! Luckly, I had a $10 off coupon. However, I'm also a student and was offered no discount (they normally offer that) and there is a sign that says "pay cash for 5% off" which I did, but received no discount.
