Myself and two family members came with me for shellac/dip manicures and pedicures. So, we obviously spent a decent amount of money, around $400+. One of my family members fingernails had see through spots all over. My shellac pedicure had three complete polishes come off in one piece 2-3 days after it was done. I live out of state and when I contacted Nails & Lashes about a refund, or perhaps a credit for my local family members to use, they said they would only give me $15 (with strings attached - as long as I didn't leave a bad review). I also skipped the massage but was still charged for a full pedicure service. I reluctantly agreed to getting back at least $15 and was told I would receive it via Venmo in five days. It never came. I went to get my nails done and firstly the nails did not really turn out the way that I had wanted them to and originally I wanted to dip but the woman suggested acrylic and I went along with it because I was uncomfortable. On top of it I waited more than 20 minutes when my wait time was actually supposed to only be 20 minutes. I waited almost 30 to 40 minutes. now down to the worst part is once I was getting my nails done they started burning and I told the lady and she poured acetone on them which calmed them down but after I left, they started burning so bad that I had to put them in ice water and my nails actually or an allergic reaction to whatever product they used. I had asked them to give me a refund over the phone because I was uncomfortable with how they treated the service when my nails were quite honestly burning to the point to where it was hurting me. And instead of giving me a refund the individual that I had spoken to just told me to come in and he would fix them up for me and I don't want to be touched by this person or have anything to do with the studio after how bad my nails were leaving the situation. My nails now have a severe infection on the cuticle bed and around the under part of where my nail would hit. I genuinely just want my money back and I am frustrated because they will not give my money back, especially since I have given them the grace of waiting longer than 20 minutes for my nails to even begin and on top of it not even do what I originally wanted done. read more

I went to nails and lashes about 1 1/2 weeks ago. The lady was pregnant. Hurried me to pick out a color. Then ground on my nails to where it was hot. She got rough with my fingers because they are stiff. She finished quickly so she could do someone else. Told me 5 min. Didn't check my nails. No cuticle oil. Barely acknowledged me as I was leaving. Since then almost every nail has broken on the tip. 6 total nails have cracked or chipped. read more

I have been here several times and this last time was awful. I had a nail tech that rushed through and did a terrible job. I had to ask for a top coat, she cut me twice, and my nails look like crap. I had a dip manicure and am so unhappy. She then charged me $50 when the price list said $40. Do not go here!!! read more

I've tried several places in Liberty and took a gamble here the day before my engagement photos based on the great reviews. I tried this place due to the high reviews, however, service was not as great as I expected. The girl that did my pedicure didn't massage anything so I paid extra for less than a basic pedicure. I brought in a picture of a floral design and asked if they could duplicate it. She said yes but what I got was some dots to resemble petals. I'm used to getting a full arm massage with a manicure. One of my favorite things is the massage part of any mani-pedi but this place did not perform, just a basic clean up and polish. I wanted to try something different from gel so I asked about the ombre look which she said is a done with dip powder. I told her I didn't like the dip as its normally too thick for me. She said she can make them so they're not. ok, talked me into it....well, it turned out thick. When I told her its too thick, she said it was because of the 2-color ombre! (hello? I specifically asked about this prior to the service). Well, I walked out of there with thick ugly nails and paid double what I normally do elsewhere. Its too bad because I really wanted this to be my nail place!! I gave 2 stars as the place seemed clean, people were friendly and did like their pedi chairs. :) read more
