I frantically scheduled an appointment with a nail tech at Perfection Nails with the hope that someone would save and redeem my 2 back-to-back SNS powder manicures that were chipping nonstop within 4 days apart after getting them fixed a different salon in Sandusky. I finally gave up and decided to give Perfection Nails a shot! I'm so glad that I gave it a shot! I'm typically not overly particular with my nails, but after gone to numerous nail salons while living in LA & DC, my expectations are quite high. Cheyenne was so understanding, patient and thorough with my nails after explaining to her my disbelief. She took the time to explain the condition of my nails and what products she'd be using to ensure they don't break easily, especially since I haven't used gel polish (they don't do powder/SNS products at this salon) in a while. Almost a month later, I'm ecstatic to share that my nails are still in perfection condition as the day I got them done! BRAVO, CHEYENNE! I went to K & A for a pedicure and full set, this is the first time in a while I've gotten nails…read moredone "professionally" as it's a treat. So very disappointing. I asked for a gel pedicure and picked out a tannish color. The pedicure was alright but definitely quick, trying to get it over with.. no massage and I wasn't asked what nail shape. For my full set, I asked for short, thin, square nails with the same tannish color that was used on my toes but with a white pearl chrome powder added. Pictures of what I received... white, thick, longer than I asked for, very crooked nails. I was trusting the process and shouldn't have. It was close to closing when he was finishing, so everything was getting closed up but I had scheduled an appointment. I could tell they weren't great or what I asked for but didn't really get an opportunity to look to well at them, so I just skipped the tip (usually I tip well, that's if it's deserved). Well, I got home and was ready to cry.. my nails looked horrible and was nothing like what I asked for. The crookedness is absolutely ridiculous and it looks like I have angled nails. I decided I would call back when they opened to see if they would be willing to fix them. I called and was nice, explaining I had got my nails done 2 days prior and they are not what I asked for and crooked. There was a long silence and then some blabbering of another language between the 2 nail technicians.. then I get told "Come 1 o'clock for fix", I said "unfortunately I'm working calling on my lunch break- I can come right after during business hours".. she said "no, no late than 3" even though they are open until 6:30pm. I said "I will not be off in time, could I come Monday?" She said "no. After week you pay for fix" I said, "I got them done on Wednesday, I can come Monday or Tuesday".. "no, you pay". The pedicure wasn't great for $60, but nothing needed fixed.. but I was charged $70 for this set of nails that they wanted to charge me an additional rate to fix their mistakes... will NOT be back nor recommend. I tried addressing the situation with the employees before giving my honest review but that didn't work, just trying to save someone else from this issue!

I have never gotten my nails done before so my mom treated me to go get my nails done last night in…read morepreparation for my sister's wedding. I was never explained what was happening so I didn't know what to do. I was very confused throughout the whole process up until it was time to pick out what colors I wanted for my acrylics (which he cut extremely short by the way) I had what color(s) I wanted and he told me he couldn't do them, so I picked out something else and he said he also couldn't do them then proceded to recommend me an apple green and hot pink ombre ( my choices in colors had to match my dress because I am in the wedding) and I explained to him why I couldn't. Then he preceded to take in another customer making me wait 20 min so I could get my nails finished. I tried to ask him if the color I picked out was navy blue ( I couldn't see it very well because it was in a bottle with a very small label on what the color was but under like a shade name) he told me yes so we continued. turns out the color was purple and I'm about to be walking down the aisle with a navy dress and purple nails. I am not satisfied with my first time getting them done and I will not get them done there again.
