The salon is adorable and I loved my services! I went in for an updo and a mani. I am possibly the pickiest person ever because I come from a family of hair stylists and I am a nail tech for an Aveda salon in Chicago. I am terrible with names... the girl who did my updo was wonderful. The best was the manicure. The girl who did it was adorable little blonde, she recently finished school, but she knows her stuff! I was so impressed with her knowledge and work ethic! She took her time and did not fly through the service. I would recommend this salon to anyone who needs a great place for services in Sandusky or Cleveland. Heck I may make a special trip back that way just to go to Scarlett O'hairs!

I scheduled a massage (on the wrong day in my error!‍), and I cannot say enough about the professionalism and kindness of the staff. They were exceptional from the moment I arrived (which, as noted, was on the wrong day and and entire week early). The staff were as accommodating as could be, and they managed to work me on for a 30-minute massage with the wonderfully talented and gifted Kathleen! She was exceptional at diagnosing things and helping me work through the pain in my neck and other things I didn't even realize were troubling me! Additionally, the accommodations are lovely! The facility is beautiful with attention to every detail from the immaculate locker rooms down to the infused water and carefully packaged snacks. It's a top-notch spa experience in every sense! Wow, what drama! So my normal gal was out sick so I made an appointment with Jodi Musser to get a…read moreperm...yeah, I know, I'm telling my age. Lol! Anyway, we discussed which rods to use and I told her I didn't want a tight curl, just bigger curls. Curls. And I showed her a pic of what I wanted. Okay-she says "this is what was used previously - orange and peach rods". So, not wanting a tight curl like that, let's do a bigger rod combination-we decided on green and peach. I have no curl, none. She said if I dry it upside down I may get more body out of it. Nice. Not a single curl! Shania was there and witnessed everything and could hear the discussion about the rods, but was dishonest telling the manager (Brandy) lies saying that I insisted on those rods. When I called Brandy to discuss the ordeal, I expected to get at least half of my money back or some products since they can't do another perm, but she was not willing to listen at all, saying 4 stylists all told her the same story - funny, because there were only two in there and they were lying. They told her I insisted on those rods. I have no idea how to do perms, nor which rods would work best-that's why I go to salons for my perms! I'm leaving this review because they do not know how to take care of their customers, I learned a lesson...so thought I'd share with you. I am sorry I didn't wait for my regular girl to come back, but know that I'll never make that mistake again!
