I've been to a goodly number of nail salons in the Beaufort area since moving here 4 years ago. Those salons varied from acceptable to never again! I finally found Nails.com through a friend and they are wonderful. I have extremely thin nails and most salons drill your nails into pulp. My last dipping powder manicure, 6 months ago, left my nails tender and with a 'ring of fire' all the way across every nail. NO SUCH PROBLEM at Nails.com. I explained my concerns to the nail tech and she was extremely gentle. I got a French dip and my nails are beautiful. No tenderness and the nails are consistent in length and design. On top of being very happy with every aspect of my services (got a pedicure, too) the prices are the most reasonable I've found. Thank you Tammy. You're the best. read more

I have been in a handful of times and always had a pleasurable experience. I have had multiple pedicures at this location and each one has been perfect. The pedicure I chose was $40 and included hot stones. Loved it! There is one option that is less expensive and two that are more expensive. The staff is friendly and I've never had an issue getting in. I have always called ahead. Nail color brands are what you would find at a typical location: OPI, Essie, etc. Will return! read more

Had a moms' day out with my girlfriends. We went for brunch and my friend made an appointment for us to get pedicures and our nails done. Very clean and everyone was friendly. The manager did my nails (French tip dip powder set) and I was thoroughly satisfied with my nails. I did a basic pedicure and the massage chair felt nice. I was first to finish and got so comfortable waiting for my friends to be done getting their nails done in the chair. No complaints. They do get busy so book and appointment! Walked out feeling happy and loved my nails for maternity photos that same evening. read more

The first picture I posted was the picture that I asked for the following photos is what I received none of the nails are the same shape. They all have a gummy like texture. I've had the nails for four days and they have already cracked. None of the white tips on any of the nails are smooth and when I asked for it to be fixed, I was told by the owner if I wanted something specific, I should've went somewhere else if I was going to be so particular on how I wanted my nails, I should've gone to one of my other "nail salons " Because when I walked in he asked where I received my last set and I told him regal and he began to degrade other nail salons which off rip was unprofessional. I personally will not return because I still had to pay 100$ for this and my toes and I am completely unsatisfied also the nails aren't even fully painted. read more

This is the only salon I go to. They always do a great job. I asked for a design for the first time and brought in a photo for reference- I was a little nervous about how it would turn out but it's perfect! Exactly like the photo. I wish she had pushed back/cut my cuticles but other than that I'm so so happy! Also, the corner of my thumb didn't cure all the way but I'm sure I just didn't have my hand all the way under the light. :-) Will be returning the next time I feel like treating myself to nails. read more

This is not the place for you if you are looking for someone with any compassion or patience towards human beings. My mom has Alzheimers and gets confused easily. He was incredibly rude to her in front of other customers then proceeded to ban her from the shop. Trust me, my mom will go elsewhere with pleasure. City Nails right down the road welcomed both my mom and dad with open arms. Watch how the owner responds to reviews, then decide if you want to give him money. I'm sure his response here will be a doozey! UPDATE: After my initial review, Andy decided to stalk me on Facebook, and write to me to make sure I see the video he posted on Youtube of my mentally handicapped mom! Then he called a close friend of mine, yes, on the phone, telling them to tell me to take down my review! Again, He posted a video on YouTube to try to embarrass my mom even further calling her a Karen AFTER i made him aware of her Dementia condition. It's fine though, the video showed her being so patient after waiting for him to talk on the phone and argue with her saying that she didn't get it done there. I know she did go there, I took her myself. Then you can hear in the video he tried to tell her it would be $30 to fix one nail. He then tries to get other customer to laugh at my mom in the end of the video, making fun of her that her name really is Karen. She left so confused, and in tears. In the 8 minutes it took him he could have fixed it for her. Funny that he hasn't had a problem taking her money for the past 4 months though. Andy should likely see my mom's Neurologist, he's a psycho. If making fun of a mentally handicapped person makes you feel good, go see him, you'll fit right in. read more

I just got an excellent pedicure (I think it was called deluxe) from David. He did a great job exfoliating and massaging and my feet felt rejuvenated afterwards! The nail salon is neat and well maintained. read more

Everything about my experience was Horrible!!! To make a long story short I was charged $50 for a acrylic fill with gel polish which peeled horribly in 2 day!! Yes 2 days I went in to get the issue "fixed" Only to have the owner Andy get smart and made it seem like I did something wrong. He also told me I should try a different salon! Listen .. This is no way to run a business!! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! You've been warned‼ read more

I usually don't do this, but going to this salon is not worth it, went there for my birthday and ask for acrylic and a design if you don't know what you're doing or you ain't qualified just refuse to do it that would've been better than give the client a bad experience. And then he proceeded to tell a client I was mad I did hear you, and changed me $100 dollars, let me tell you I went straight to the other salon near you and they fix all that mess you did. read more

I got a manicure and pedicure and it was the worst I have ever had. The guy that did my toes trimmed my nails crooked and did not file them at all so they were slanted. He also did my nails and caked on so much polish that it wrinkled. Will never go there again. So disappointed, I could have done this myself and saved my money and did a better job read more

This was the worst manicure I have ever had! I am letting my nails grow out after 30 years of acrylics and the Covid was a good time to give my nails a break. Soak my nails for 3 minutes in cold water. No cuticle cream. Barely pushed back cuticles. NO LOTION OR MASSAGE! Polish looks horrific. Had to tell him to redo 1 nail that I just could not live with. He put a third coat on it that had now been smeared. I could have done better myself. Waste of 15 minutes! Yes 15!!!! and $21. DO NOT GO THERE! This was me second attempt to go there after 4 months. Okay, I was very excited to try this place out!! And I am super disappointed. I received a gel mani and deluxe pedicure. Don't get me wrong the pedicure FELT amazing, but didn't turn out the best. She trimmed my nails and slightly filed, leaving un-even nails (and it's super noticeable). I got white polish for my toes and she noticed she got some on my skin, wiped it, leaving a nail mark going across the top of the big toe, also had polish on other toes (this was left there). Now let's go on to the manicure. Well to start my nails were not shaped, yes filed slightly but all nails are a different shape. Next I was not able to leave my nails in the LED light for practically any amount of time. So I got this done on Thursday night (6pm) and it is Tuesday morning and my nails are already lifting and peeling. Not to mention that they are charging 10% on top of their prices due to COVID and having to buy cleaning supplies.... AND I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND. But if that is the case please give the appropriate service to go with the cost. read more
