First time here and they immediately seated us in chairs. I'm visiting from out of town and needed a pedi STAT! I had an older gentleman that was very sweet. Thankfully, I was seated next to a long-timer who was very polite and friendly and super helpful with her recommendations. We got the pretty basic pedi since we were on a somewhat of a time crunch. I was really impressed! I'm super critical about my feet, especially in the summer and after being laid up for 3 months after leg surgery my feet looked like I could swoop down and drag fish out of the ocean! I'm from Cincinnati and by the time I was able to "walk" again I didn't have time to get my talons taken care of before I left. I was so happy with the service, price and ambiance. I will ABSOLUTELY come here next time I'm in town! My bff who lives here was so impressed she and her daughter are coming back for the awesome suggestion to get the "volcano" treatment. I had to be very careful with my treatment since my surgery incision was still not completely healed. And the gentleman who was working on me was very conscious of this and took every precaution to make sure my incision wasn't compromised or anything would possibly hurt it. This morning I walked in to have one broken nail fixed - already expecting to pay/possibly not have a matching color since I got them originally done out of town - and was very rudely cut off while explaining what I needed and turned away with the reason "We don't fix nails done from other places." When I politely asked "Why is that?" the woman responded with, "We just don't do it MA'AM" - I was appalled by the unprofessionalism in such a pretty salon. I'm still not understanding why I was turned away when I was completely willing to pay / not get the color I originally had. The pictures they post are great however unless you have 3 hours to spend on getting your nails done / waiting NOT WORTH IT! I then walk back to ask how long their wait would be as I have been waiting for 25 mins and I called to make and appointment so that this wouldn't happen. I never leave reviews but this is my honest experience. I've been here 2x. Made an appointment my first visit, waited forever past the wait time. I waited patiently, after one hour I finally asked "how much longer?" the owner responded "almost" so I asked "do you have a time estimate?" and she said "I said ALMOST okay"... when she finally took me she proceeded to tell me the reason I had to wait was because customers wanted extra services done that they didn't ask for originally. I understood, but she kept talking about them very negatively which rubbed me the wrong way. The owner then told me "I wasn't trying to be rude to you, everyone here knows how I am, i'm straight forward" ???? Very unprofessional. I figured maybe she was having a bad day. I made a mistake coming once again, I only did because my nails started to lift after 3 days. (I got a full acrylic set) I asked if they could fix it since I spent close to $90.. the owner took me in and fixed my nails but was extremely rough she had made me bleed. (photo attached). I have been getting my nails done for years at far better quality salons that are worth the price. It is very mediocre to say the least. The only reason I came here is because it's down the street from me, but I'd rather make the drive down to Jacksonville for a better experience and to get my moneys worth! Beware of this salon! They have unethical business practices and the owner is beligerant and rude! I was a customer at this salon for over 4 years, only because of my nail technician whom has always provided excellent services to me. Over the past 4 years, I've witnessed the owner Angel on numerous occasions be unprofessional, rude, and demeaning to many customers. On April 15th, 2021 I had an appointment with my nail technician. As she was performing my services, the owner Angel walked by and said to my nail technician $32! I asked my nail tech what Angel was referring to? The nail Tech's response to me was there had been a price increase. I thought that was kind of strange because I didn't see anything notifying the customers of a price increase. As the technician was completing my services, Angel once again walks by and says $47.... This struck me as very odd because I did not observe her walking by other technicians and calling out prices to them. When I approached the checkout counter, Angel said to me $47. The services I received have been $35 in the past. I said to angel, I understand you've had a price increase but I don't see anything notifying customers of this increase. She immediately became defensive and said to me very rudely "I don't have to notify anyone"! My response to her was " It's not a good business practice to not notify your customers of a price increase". She laughed at my response and again rudely said, "I don't have to"! She then said to me that her prices had increased a month earlier. I informed her, I was in there for services 3 weeks prior and the prices had not increased. She then quickly removed the pricing menu off the counter as if she didn't want me to look at it. On April 21, 2021 I called the salon to schedule an appointment with my technician. Angel answers my call and informs me that I can no longer be a client at the salon. I asked her why and her response "because you called me out on my business practices".  My response was " if you were not being deceptive with your customers I would not have mentioned it". My experience has always been anytime a business has a price increase they always notify their customers in advance because it's the ethical thing to do. read more

ORIGINAL REVIEW UNDERNEATH! THIS IS AN UPDATE!: I just received a message on Facebook messenger by this establishment telling me there were misunderstandings. There were misunderstandings when an owner goes back and forth with a customer for 10 minutes on the phone. Unreal. I went here approximately two months ago (could be longer), I had acrylic nails from a different establishment that I will not name and did not like them. I came to this establishment to get them off and get a gel design that had leaves and accent nails. My nail tech who assisted me, Tina, actually cut me with their nail buffer and did not realize it until after she painted my nails. The real kicker is that my skin got stained and the polish would not come off for WEEKS. I called and spoke with the owner who proceeded to argue with me over the phone for 10 minutes telling me to come back in but that I would have to pay to get my nails fixed? Why would I do that after they stained my skin and cut my nail bed with a tool? I have also written a Google review about this which has a picture proving that they destroyed my nails. I'll be buying regular nail polish and Color Street nails instead of coming back to this establishment. read more

Probably the most painful pedicure and manicure ever. Very rough, no care with cuticle trimming and removal. Most painful massage as well. I can already see faint bruising on my legs and they are sore. I have had a few treatments in this establishments and not experienced this. Extremely abrupt service. Spent $70 and while I am happy with the actual pedicure and manicure looks it is the abrupt, "no care", rough, and harsh service that it took to get it. read more

I went there for a pedicure as I had done several times before and I was serviced by an older gentleman. He seemed really irritated with the fact that he had to service me and started out handling me roughly until I said something to him and the service preceded without fanfare. But when I asked him to only put one coat on he says to me that it won't look good and again I told him I only wanted one coat he said "one coat won't look good" and by this time I'm beyond irritated with his lack of manners and rudeness. I got my nails done yesterday and the polish is already chipping, the lines were not clean at all and very squiggly, and the shape was completely off, the shapes are different on each nail, and the paint was lumpy. I went in and got a mani and Pedicure today. I asked the lady to use the harder foot scrubber because my feet needed it. She then pulled it out and barely scrubbed it. After I let it dry and was doing my nails I asked her again if she could fix them and she said she couldn't and that it would hurt my skin. This is my first time there and it was one of my worst experiences. I usually go to a place in river city which will take off all the skin and put cream on them to heal it. I called in an appointment for 12:30 pm and I come in to a busy environment and rude staff. I asked why I was told to come in at 12:30 if there was still a 45 minute wait and she snatched the tickets out of my hand and said "don't get your nails don't then" I understand that places get busy but to be rude to someone who is simply confused on the unorganized way they schedule appointments was unacceptable. I do not recommend this place to get your nails done due to how disorganized they were, I can only image what my nails would of turned out like with them being rushed. I could tell by the regulars this place is a hit. Most customers had appointments and I guess because this is the norm around here if you're a "walk in" customer, like I was, they will treat you like one. I was immediately greeted and told the receptionist I wanted a fill in. She then handed me a piece of paper and told me I will be services at table 2. I asked her where the polish was so I could choose a color she pointed at the wall and walked away. The whole transaction gave me the vibe I was annoying her. She then come to me twice while choosing a color asking me to sit down.... but I hadnt made My selection yet. Then the man who was working on my nails gets up and stands there looking at me with his hands on his hips as if to say I was angering him. Now I could have been wrong but when I sat down he yanks my hands toward him pretty aggressively, he slams down the power he will be using and is rough with he the whole time. A few times he even burned my skin with the drill. It hurt. I asked him if he was alright and how his day was, he didn't even respond. He rushed my nails and took other clients before I was finished and at the end he told me "go sit under the dryer and don't touch anything I don't have time To fix your nails" . The outcome was okay I paid $20 for a fill in which is higher than most places and to make it all worse. They have a rewards program you can enroll in and get points they told us about after I paid and said because I paid already I can't get any points today. If I go back I won't to that guy and I may make an appointment. However, there is a lady there who did a great job on someone else's eyebrows.... maybe I'd try that. I don't know. Of customer service makes or breaks your experiences I wouldn't suggest this place but if speed and results drive your transactions, knock yourself out. read more

The first and last time I come here. I brought my step mother to treat her to a pedicure so we came here around 1:30-1:45 on a Thursday afternoon. There wasn't a lot of people in the place but it was pretty steady. The place is clean and nice and organized, each polish had a number and a spot on the wall. Tons of different color selections as well as gel & shellac. We were seated right away. Our water was like warm to say the least. The lady got started on my toe nails while my step mother waited about 15 mins before someone finally came to start her pedicure. My feet are super ticklish so usually when they scrub my feet I squirm and squeal. This lady barely even grazed the scrub pad across my feet. Then she hurriedly "scrubbed" my legs with a salt scrub. She didn't get all the goodies out from under my toenails. My toes look like a 6 year old painted them. She was friendly and smiled a lot I'm guessing because she didn't speak English. Like none at all. The place was clean and had tons of polish choices. However they didn't really scrub my feet, clean my toe nails and the paint job looked bad. $75 I'll never get back.
