I've already been here 3 times and they just opened! Everything is so fresh and incredibly flavorful. My top favorites at the moment are the cold sesame noodles, kung pao Brussels and orange beignets. They make the noodles fresh in house! Every bite of Brussels packs a flavor bomb. The beignets are creamy fluffy goodness and I'm not even a sweets gal. I do order a main but add on 3 sides cause how can one not try them all. Haven't tried an item I didn't like. Was at a community event and this place came up. The whole group of us could not stop singing their praises. Also, the folks who work here are some of the sweetest around. It's super comfy, welcoming and kid friendly. Great for groups or a casual hang. I forgot to mention the fresh seasonal juices. Like I said this place is my new favorite to take folks and keep trying rotating items. You will not be disappointed.

This place has such an interesting and innovative menu. Decorated nicely inside. It is in an unexpected location for sure but not hard to find. Went with the rendang melt with kimchi fried rice as the side. Also got a side of brussels. I tasted the steak fried rice also and it was excellent. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Drink options are a bit limited but I really like that you get a carafe of water.

Naked Kitchen was a fantastic find this past weekend and I'll know we'll be going back as soon as we can. Really hearty breakfast and brunch food with a perfect Asian/American blend. Outside looks like a converted warehouse space and that theme is kept on the interior. It's really a nice decor the combines industrial theming with unique lighting, splashes of bright color and wall decor that includes hanging cookbooks. You order at the front. The kitchen is visible and everyone was pleasant and very helpful. You take a number to your table and the service was very quick. Most of the food comes with some sort of aoli. That's not my thing and they were very agreeable to take my order without it. My wife raved about the crispy deviled eggs, the Brussels and the fried rice. Her entire meal was a sampling of the excellent sides. I was fortunate enough to order a "special" that turned out to be one of the best things I've eaten. The Fried chicken sandwich was easily the best I've had anywhere. I ordered it without aoli and the honey butter was plenty. It was huge, perfectly fried and flavored. Inside was juicy and cooked perfectly. The most brilliant thing was the bread. It was milky and sweet. It was a sandwich but had the vibe of elevated chicken and waffles in taste. It was amazing. The potatoes on the side were likewise hearty, flavorful and the perfect blend of savory and sweet, crispy and soft inside simultaneously. Both just brilliant. I highly suggest you try this gem. You'll be glad you did.

Amazing from start to finish! You walk in the door and feel like family. Service was amazing. Everyone was tentative & patient while we decided what we wanted. They have a happy hour! (I forgot to get a pic of the menu, but it's worth it and ends 6ish) We ordered the Kung Pao Brussels, crispy rice, crispy shrimp onigiri, pork wontons, tuna sando, steak and cheese sliders, miso beans, and the fried deviled eggs. My favorite by far was the tuna sando with the Kung Pao Brussels.

Really wonderful locally owned restaurant! We were warmly greeted by the owner and her adorable daughter. Had a lovely lunch, and everything was delicious, fresh and homemade! We had the crispy eggs, wontons, beef rendang po boy with a side of brussels, Nashville chicken sliders with a side tomato salad, and the beignets. We look forward to coming back! I hope this business is supported and thrives because it really is a gem!

Fortunately I had the opportunity to sample a few things from their menu during a work event. The building is still being added to but there is a good bit of space, obviously we had a work event there with about 30-40 people and there were still tables free for there usual lunch guests. The brussel sprouts, a must try! So delicious. Everything is locally sourced, fresh and you can taste it with each bite. The chorizo tacos were bomb and I think the tortillas were made of potato, not sure but whatever it is, it made for a nice blanket. The chicken sandwich was cooked well and the bread was made fresh. My only pit with that is there was a sauce that looked like it may have a kick and bring the sandwich to life, but it fell flat, which means the sandwich was as good as it could be. The staff was pleasant and patient. There was a cantelope agua fresca that was different and delicious. Certainly a spot worth trying and it's in the up and coming Phoenix district area so I'm sure it will soon be a local fave.

I'm pretty sure the Ham and Egg Sando is the best sandwich I've ever had in my life!!! Between the friendliest staff and the best food, the vibe here is immaculate!

Pioneers in a desert, that is starting to show signs of life, WOW, don't miss out as the menus evolves regularly. Enthusiastic friendly staff in a casual urban environment. Don't let the neighborhood fool you, this might just be a diamond, hidden in the landscape of dreams. The food was equally exceptional. Not your typical strip mall dining. Unique, elevated and requires immediate attention. Thanks!!!!!!

Loved everything about our first visit today. We ordered by the kitchen, brought and found a table. I love the space, the variety of seating options, with even a few tables outside. We chose a table with chairs and a shared cushioned church pew. The person who took our order was friendly and kind, especially after my husband accidentally shattered a glass while pouring our water. The food was phenomenal. Everything we had was delicious. I wanted to try so many things, I ordered a few different items and have plenty left for my lunch tomorrow. I started with the crispy deviled eggs, they looked as good as they tasted. I also ordered two sides, King Pao Brussel sprouts and fried rice. Along with my iced coffee, it was a perfect meal. The eggs had a crispy shell that complemented the creamy mayo yolk. The egg and kimchi fried rice was perfect comfort food with the added crunch of the delicious kimchi. I love Brussels and these did not disappoint. Every piece was crisp and the almonds were a nice addition. The iced coffee was perfect, not too sweet with a perfectly creamy coffee taste. I stole a bite of my husband's chicken sando and smashed potatoes too. The fried chicken was fantastic and I will be back for my own order of those potatoes soon. We were wowed, from beginning to end, the service, the food, the kindness. Can't wait to return!

Delicious food, amazing decor, and some of the friendliest staff I've had the pleasure of meeting. A very much needed restaurant , not only in the Springfield neighborhood, but in Jax as a whole that delivered the perfect balance of taste and nutrition that would normally go overlooked. Both the steak sliders as well as the kimchi grilled cheese hit the right spot without feeling too heavy. I could eat the kung pao brussel sprouts breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also offer daily specials just to mix things up. They are still in their soft opening phase at the time of this review and will look to extending their days and hours in the coming weeks.

Delicious cold and hot pastas and sandwiches. Hidden Gem for now

From the moment we laid eyes on the pastry case, our jaws were on the floor. Everything we had was amazing -- the breakfast sandwich on sourdough, ham & cheese croissant, matcha cheesecake blueberry croissant tart, and the brie country ham & hot honey galette. JUST WOW! We also got some lattes to fuel our morning and I opted for their special brown butter sesame latte -- yum! The bakery itself is very cute with some market and pantry items available to shop as well. The staff was very patient as we asked a million questions about all the pastries before making our selections. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the downtown Jax area!

We thought for sure they would make us sit outside in that heat but we got a decent table inside towards middle. We arrived there about 11:40am and table was ready at noon we sat at the table after host seated us for 40 mins before even being offered water or anything. Our waiter (Nicole). Came to table when we first arrived just to tell us she would be with us shortly just for us to wait almost an hour. ATP we are starved and super thirsty. 12:38 she came to table to say "I'll be wit y'all in a few" and looked back to see the table behind us was her table too but came after us. So she finally took our order after realizing we were still waiting patiently. The food came out within 15-18 mins and was fresh. We had no complaints on the food at all other than my grits was a little lumpy. But still a great flavor. Everytime our waiter came back she seemed to be irritated or frustrated, but you shouldn't take that out on the customers specifically ones who have been nothing but kind. After we finished eating she brung a payment book with one receipt and said "is it ok that it's all on one receipt?" But it was more like she was telling us and didn't ask before hand and didn't even let us answer. She sat the receipt down and just walked out as we were answering. We planned to have 3 different checks because we were going separate ways. I called the manager over and he fixed it immediately and apologized for that. Some people just don't need to work in customer service. I get people have bad days but that was a bad experience for our first time there. Everyone else was super sweet except her. Atleast our food was good. Her customer service is definitely a 4/10. Even the table behind us was upset and requested a refund on the food. I would definitely go back just wouldn't want her as a server!

This hidden gem offers an intimate indoor dining room along with a charming outdoor patio. I highly recommend making a reservation, as seating is limited. Othello is a tapas-style restaurant, and we loved ordering a variety of dishes to share around the table. It was the perfect way to experience different flavors, and every dish we tried was beautifully prepared, fresh, and packed with flavor. Even the less adventurous eaters in our group left impressed. Some of our favorites included the whipped feta (don't skip the bread for dipping!), the roasted half chicken, and the butterflied branzino, which was perfectly cooked with a delicious char and bright, fresh flavors. Every plate that came to the table looked as incredible as it tasted. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions about the menu. One thing to know before you go: the chef has a very specific vision for each dish and generally does not allow substitutions or modifications. For example, one person in our group wanted the aioli removed from the tuna, but the dish was only served as designed. It's something to keep in mind if you have picky eaters or dietary preferences. We were so full after sharing so many plates that we had to pass on dessert, but that's just another reason to come back. Othello delivers a memorable dining experience with creative flavors, excellent service, and a fun, shareable menu. We'll definitely be returning.
