    The recall

    If I could give this dealership a (-5), I would. I saw the horrible comments about the location but I wanted to give them a shot. When I bought the car, I told them about their reviews because I could see it in the buying process. Now 3 weeks later a recall comes out! I spoke to them about it & they were like fine bring it in. Told them it would be around the 20th of June. Called today!! They act like they never heard of the recall. Spoke to John Fike via phone/text. He informed me that Erica the manager of the shop didn't have the update so he suggested that she call me. I called them after waiting & got their customer service person who just wanted to schedule a week out waiting on parts!! What parts?!? This is just a software update. Got a text back after going back & forth to explain. Erica is aware of it call service. Called service lol!! Got the same thing. Now other dealerships in the area are able to fix it the next day. Why not Stonecrest?! There are some issue at this location that needs to be addressed by corporate! Here's my final review: DO NOT GO TO STONECREST KIA!! Reach out to me 1st for details. Avoid them at ALL cost!

    What we saw the next day after purchasing

    My husband purchased my 2025 sportage from this location late evening/night on 3/19. We could take responsibility for not looking at every inch of the car before driving off but the next day while connecting the KIA connect, he noticed a scratch on the passenger seat. He took photos and informed our sales rep who advised he would let the manager know. We were asked to bring the car back the following week (Wednesday) for the upholstery guy to fix the problem, so I did. Before taking the car back the upholstery guy said he could fix it with no problem but there was a big problem when I got it back. The color didn't match but I didn't say anything because I was thinking it had to settle as he said no one can sit on that side for 24 hours. There was spray all over the car that even the sales guy tried to wipe a lot of it off. The next day I go out to inspect the car the color settle and it was just as it looked the day before, horrible, uneven, and as I stated before it didn't match. We informed Kia but due to my having to go into surgery we were focusing on that. My husband dealt with it while I was in the hospital and got the complete run around. Just this week 4/15 the end result of this nightmare was the manager Mike told me, it was nothing they could do being that what they did was a courtesy. I was blown by his response because courtesy would have been informed me of the color beforehand not mess up a brand new car that I haven't even made the first payment for and now I have to deal with this!!! I wouldn't recommend not one person at KIA NALLEY. The sales person who failed us miserably, the upholstery guy who didn't deliver, and the manager who thought courtesy was to discolor my seat. I would have preferred the guy saying he couldn't match the color than doing this! They care nothing about their customers or reputation and to think my husband was about to get another vehicle from them. I guess YELP wasn't lying because we were handed the same

    This is has been the better option far as Honda dealerships go in my opinion. I stay closest to Curry Honda, but will drive to Stonecrest to get my car serviced. This past Saturday I needed an oil change and had an appointment (that's all I went in for). The service then became over $400 quote. I was told about a fuel injector service that my car was due for supposedly. Me thinking I'm being told good info say I'll get it if it's needed at this time after asking if it was. I was verbally told it would be $184. The quote had the total for this service alone as $215 (I was then told labor was added in the estimate), along with a cabin filter change and tire rotation on top of the oil change. I said the cabin filter can be taken off (FYI this service is overpriced, YouTube can show you how to do this on your own). After looking more into this fuel injection service within a few minutes I went back and asked for it to be removed (I didn't sign anything for the service). I was told that the car was already having the service done. I spoke to one of the managers Lindsey who was a great help in this situation and built my trust back with the dealership to handle the services. We spoke about the charge and she explained when this service is due and if it's a mandatory service or auxiliary. Thank you to Eric W. as well for the assistance with calling Lindsey for my issue. I appreciate the help of everyone because with inflation going on the last thing I'm trying to do is pay for services that I didn't need at the mileage I'm at. The visit started rocky, but ended on a good note. I'll be bringing my car back for the next service needed. Thanks Lindsey!

    Zero stars. Waited over 2 hours for a simple oil change only to be told they couldn't do it because…read moremy oil cap was rounded off and they were closing. This is the only place I get my oil changes, so I'm confused why this wasn't noticed or communicated during a previous visit. The long wait combined with inconsistent service and constantly seeing new staff made for a very disappointing experience.

While it was there, they called to say a rusted exhaust clamp needed replacing and recommended new spark plugs and an oil change. I normally never use dealerships for service, but since the car was already there, I agreed. They also offered to replace the caliper but said the bill would be over $2,000 in total. Obviously, I declined. When I picked up the vehicle, I was still shocked by a $1,200 bill. Front desk told me everything done was absolutely necessary, so I paid. Oddly, right before I pulled out of the lot, she had me sign the itemized bill I had already just paid. Later, I reviewed the invoice with someone knowledgeable about cars and learned I'd been taken advantage of. The dealership claims it's their policy to always do a tune-up when replacing spark plugs ("that's just what we do"), and that a tune-up automatically includes an air induction service--totaling $700! That is simply not true and should have been explained and offered as an option, not slipped in as mandatory. Again, I would never pay for service at the dealership because it always costs about twice as much as anywhere else. I only came here for brake diagnostics and a recall repair... Then had the displeasure of speaking with the service manager, Austin. He told me I must be " numb to cars" whatever the hell that means and basically started getting an attitude with me and told me he wasn't going to do anything for me Terrible service. Our experience here was quite the opposite. We didn't even plan on going in to buy a car. We were searching around for the future and the handling of the conversation by the salesman, Sheldon, really set well with us and we decided to come back.     My wife bought a new Sonata from Nalley in 2018. She always takes it there for its regular service…read more The oil light started blinking shortly after its 82,000 mile service. I checked the oil level and it didn't even show on the dipstick. I added a quart od 10w-30 synthetic and it still showed very low. I added another quart and it read 1/2 quart low. I then added a half quart which brought it up to full. When she took it back for diagnosis the advisor said it needs a valve cover gasket and it would cost over $1,100 before they would do an oil consumption test. Hyundai GDI engines are known for this problem. Ask Google, "What is wrong with Hyundai GDI engines." ---------- RIP OFF WARNING !!! ---------- A valve cover gasket leak of 2.5 quarts would, at least, leave spotting on the garage floor but we have none, NONE!! After a few phone calls we found the gasket cost under $10 at AutoZone and DIY installation would be less than 30 minutes. Still, my wife wanted Hyundai to do it. We took it, for a second opinion, to another Hyundai dealer after a couple of weeks and 2 more quarts of oil later. Their oil consumption test was FREE after an $80 oil change. It had 0.3 quart consumption after 1,000 miles. Conclusion: Crisis averted, they fixed it and no engine replacement necessary. They didn't say how but I suspect that they replaced the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation valve) $24 at AutoZone, taking all of 5 minutes by any guy with a pair of pliers. Google it. Both readit and YouTube have multiple instances of this simple fix. It's part of regular maintenance but had, somehow been NEGLECTED for 7 years at Nalley. We could have been manipulated into an expensive total engine replacement, out of warranty, because we declined a non-existent valve cover leak. Never, never, never will we trust Nalley Hyundai again.
