I called Patrick at Shamrock, came he came out the next day to review what needed to be done for a new field. Patrick showed up when he said he would, gave me a reasonable estimate of what the work would cost and a time line of what needed to be done. I secured the permit, and Patrick scheduled a time for the inspector to be on site. Another positive outcome. Patrick was on time again! We dug the test hole, Patrick said he would email me a bid and did so that day. I gave him the go ahead on the project. This was later in the week, so we scheduled for Monday morning. Patrick had the equipment on site Friday afternoon, so everything would be ready for Monday. The time to completion was 3 days. Monday morning, Patrick and his crew arrived on time at 7 am and began work. The crew surveyed the project, came up with a plan, then began. They were very helpful in helping me remove some fencing to allow access for dump trucks to remove dirt from the excavation, and for replacing the dirt with the required fill. Wednesday, everything was finished. On time! The crew was very conscientious about minimizing the impact on the yard, and about leaving the yard as close as possible to how they found it. I can't say enough good things about Patrick and his crew. Timely, conscientious, helpful, and excellent work. I hope this helps anyone looking for excavation work make a decision. (we were without water except for exceptionally brief periods when we turned it on to fill containers). We got a call from the company saying they worked us into their schedule, and would be out the next day - Friday! Everyone we have dealt with have been professional and helpful. They fixed the leak, and then sent out a plumber to check on why one toilet was slow in filling. Everyone has been exceptional, from the office staff we spoke with to the guys who fixed our problem. A local plumber recommended Zoom Drain to clear roots out of our home's sewer pipes. They…read morescheduled a convenient time, kept in touch via text, and arrived shortly after the appointment window opened. The friendly technician got right to work assessing the situation, he gave two quotes: 1) snaking the pipes and 2) high pressure jet. Having dealt with roots in these pre-WWII pipes before, we opted for the snake with a root kill foam chaser. The following day, water was backed up in the basement utility room again. I called Zoom and they asked if I could wait until Monday, or if it was an emergency. I agreed to wait, and first thing Monday morning the technician and manager were at the house. They ran a different head on the snake and it cleared the debris. They also shampooed the carpet where some sewage had dripped off the equipment. All in all, they made sure the job was done right.
