Very helpful in assessing the dresses you try on which are based on your score of dress, they listen to reasons for score and suggest other dresses to try on. They picked out my perfect dress in this way. My advice would be make an appointment as they seem to be very busy, always a good sign. Lots of thank you cards in the shop from happy customers. Today was my first and only shopping experience for my wedding dress, and I wanted the perfect dress. I went in with an idea of the dress I wanted and the bridal path stocked it, I tried it on and fell in love. However Amy (the lady in the bridal boutique) said I should try on others I might surprise myself. Boy was she right, I tried on dresses I thought I would dislike massively and they soon became the front runner. I then was undecided with two types of dresses and the girls came up with a "wildcard" as they called it. At this point I thought I don't know what I like I'm going to have to think about it. Well the wildcard won me over I felt like such a princess and it's the most perfect dress ever! I ordered it there and then and honestly cannot fault any part of the experience. The girls treat you so personally, they aren't pushy and couldn't be more friendly if they tried! I genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough, I will be going back to look for the bridesmaids dresses there!!! Thanks again girls!!!

In no time at all we had agreed a re make , shorter and without the corset. The finished dress is gorgeous, I am so delighted with it and really can't praise Jean enough for this romantic dress. A good place to try on lots of dresses and grab a bargain!…read more This is a warehouse style wedding dress shop. You don't need an appointment, just turn up when they are open and ring the bell. You are given 4 rings and simply put them around the hangers of the dresses you like. You can then try on those 4 before going back out to choose another 4. The dresses are samples from shops so they generally only have 1 in each size and when they sell they are gone so be aware of this if you fall in love with one! It was moderately busy for 1130 on a Saturday. We got a changing room straight away though. One of the assistants helps you out when you get changed then she kindly suggested some dresses she thought would suit me as well and went to get them. They had some stunning things in my size. You are possibly a size bigger than normal here so beware when choosing! I could have happily bought 2 of the ones I tried on. The lady also helped me try on matching veils. Again I can't wait to go back and try on more dresses here.

I am not a someone who plans things to a fine art, who has dreamed of a perfect day with every detail mapped out in my head. In fact I am something of a rubbish bride to be. The whole thing just seems far too much stress and effort to me. Don't get me wrong I want a wedding. I will probably go for the big white wedding option but I want it as hassle free as possible. I thought I would take the plunge and try look inside a bridal shop and Stella's was fantastic. The whole place is immaculate and air-conditioned. The dresses are beautifully cut and are made with the most luxurious fabrics with unbelievable detail. As I have nothing to compare this shop too I realise may have been overly impressed but the owner made me feels sooo special and for the first time I thought the whole wedding day business might not be horrendous after all. In fact I am truly looking forward to it now and may go back to try a couple of dresses on in the not too distant future!

I'd come across Celebration Village on the Internet a few times, I knew it was just outside Manchester city centre but I'd never found the time to go over there. However today the pressure all got a bit too much and I went on a mad dress hunt!!! First stop, Celebration Village. It wasn't too far away actually just behind the MEN Arena. I wandered over today quite late on to find the store very empty, just a few sales assistants hanging around but nobody jumped on us as soon as we walked in which was a nice change. This store is huge, I mean massive! Tons and tons of choice, if you have any special occasions coming up I strongly advise you to pay this shop a visit! Absolutely amazing dresses for all occasions. The shop assistant was very very friendly and helpful, not only helping me try on dresses, full on encouraging me to because she wanted to see how they looked! She also offered to have the dress fitted to my size a little better and have it taken up too! Really couldn't fault the service. Prices were not too extreme, hire costs were very reasonable and a lot of the dresses to buy were very low prices too.
