The pizza was only fair, we tried the stuffed all meat and the thin cheese, the stuffed being helped by a good amount of toppings. Nothing good to say about the thin cheese, it tasted more like dried Italian herbs than cheese and shared the same bland, dry crust. The service was not great considering they weren't busy, prices a little above average,full range of drinks, I am told the rest of the menu is very good, (salads, pastas etc.). Was told pizzas would be ready in an hour--waited over a half hour. No apology, was just told that "they" should have told me it would be at least an hour and a half and he didn't take the order. Customer service, zero stars. Ordered Uncle Tony's deep dish and A Lot A Meat pan pizza to see how we liked them. Both were pretty tasteless. Deep dish should have had 4 meat toppings but tasted like a tomato sauce and cheese pizza. There may have been a piece of ham on it, but toppings were VERY sparse to non-existent. Pan pizza could have been good but sausage and peppers were so big and thick they overtook the slice. Still looking for a good pan pizza but this place is not it. Price was pretty steep for bad pizza. Ordered for 5 people to try and no one was impressed. Have plenty of leftovers but no one thinks we should keep them. read more

My best friend and I are big fans of Chicago style deep dish pizza, so we had to try this place as soon as we heard about it. The ambiance of this place is great. Very nicely decorated and perfect lighting. I imagine they will need to expand this cozy location once their business starts booming. We ordered two appetizers, the garlic bread with mozzarella cheese and the northern Italian tomato salad. Both were excellent. We figured the pizza would take forever to come out, but it was out within 20-25 minutes, which is fast for a deep dish pizza. We opted for just sausage in our pizza. The sauce was sweet and tangy and the sausage had the perfect blend of spices. The crust was delicious too! We both just had one slice so that we could save room for dessert, we ordered the chocolate flourless cake, which was heavenly! What do they put in that? It wasn't too rich and it had a light, fluffy texture. The service we received was fast and the staff was very friendly. The price was also pretty cheap for all of the food we received. We waited over an hour and 15 minutes for a pizza. We ordered sausage, pepperoni with mushroom and onion and extra cheese added to half. The pizza was screwed up. got green pepper and onion on half. They decided to do another one to make it right. We waited only 15 minutes for that one and that was screwed up. Didn't put sausage or pepperoni on the whole thing, only on half of it. in addition, my husband ended up sick in the night from it. The waitress was nearly non-existent but when she did show up, she was at least cordial. The wait was ridiculous. i will never, ever eat there again. read more

We placed our order by phone as soon as they opened at 4pm. We requested a 5:45 pick up. Out family get together started at 6pm and several guests had to leave at 7pm. When we arrived at 5:45 nothing was ready. They claimed someone wrote down 6:45. So they told us it would be ready by 6:45 or possibly a little earlier. We returned at 6:30 in hopes of getting our order a little early. When we went in it was not ready. Another customer was there with a similar problem and not happy. At 6:45 still nothing was ready. The most irritating part of this is no one cared! No apology, nothing. Everyone working the take out counter was cold and rude. So finally at nearly 7pm we got our order (no discount for the trouble) and took it home to half of our party that could stay. Very disappointing. read more

We've only eaten at this establishment twice since it's been open. The first time, the food and service were ok but the prices were a little high. On our second visit, we went on a Sunday afternoon and waited almost an hour for our pizza, which wasn't even deep dish. The pizza really isn't anything to get excited about. Shame that our favorite Deep Dish pizza place went to heck.... Ordered deep dish pizza on 7/4/19.. Good things come to those who wait, right? I get it takes 35-mins, and it was out right on time. But it was COLD. Deep dish should be so hot that steam comes off of it and you can't eat it right away because the cheeses is so hot. Sent it back, and 10-mins later, it came back not any warmer!! Took the whole thing home and warmed it up. Hence we went out to eat, and never ate!! Ordered the "garbage salad" charged $9.25 for the small. Told they only have one size now, even though the size I got was $5 a month a go. $9.25 for lettuce, a few pieces of pepperoni... Was always loaded up with every thing you found on a pizza, hence the name "garbage". Waitress said they have new chef. So that is supposed to make me feel good that I got a meal I couldn't eat and paid ~$40 for the two of us? None of the tables were happy, many giving me a thumbs up and commiserating with me about the experiences they were having getting their meals! Won't go back. Horrible customer service. Disclaimer: Did not get a chance to taste pizza, so review is solely based on customer service / environment, etc. We stopped by around 5PM on a Friday, waited about 30 - 40 minutes for a table of two. Which is reasonable, since new / small space. Once seated, we place our order for one large pizza / drinks. After waiting over an hour for our pizza (we understand deep dish takes a long time, we are from Chicago), we noticed that multiple tables that had gotten there after us have already gotten pizza, even eaten and left. During this time our waiter had failed to provide updates, refill drinks, or even just check to see if we needed anything. So, I track down waiter to ask if our pizza would be out soon. Her response was "No one came and talked to you? They lost your order." I replied by saying "No, how long have you known about this - shouldn't you come up to confirm someone has talked to us?" She just had a confused look - no apologizing or follow-up. Therefore, we just left. No apologizing or gift card, etc. offered. Summarize: We were there for over 2 hours - and received no order / pizza. They "lost" order and did not properly address the situation. I would strongly recommend not going to Nancy's. They do not deserve my or your business. read more

Having grown up in Chicago, i am very familiar with Nancys. Not much of a fan of Lou Malnattis, love Giordanos and fond of Nancys. I was ecstatic when i saw they weer opening up in Springfield, because overall, Springfield food sucks. So i ordered my pizzas, and when i went to pick them up and they handed me the boxes I found myself puzzled. I ordered 2 large, 1 stuffed, 1 pan and it was about $45 which is expected, but the boxes felt awefully light. When i got home and opened the boxes, the order was right, but the press were only 16 inch. If the large stuffed was 18, and the deep dish 18 or 20, I would've been good to go, but with what they charge, it's Seguin not worth it. I will just wait to go up and visit family and stop at Giordanos, or get a great meal at Portillos. read more

Good and bad... let's start with the good ordered a large sausage pizza (thin crust) for pickup no problem with that pizza was ready when I got there girl at the counter was pleasant. Noticed the weight of the box it was in and that was because it had plenty of sausage, cheese and sauce so no problem their... now the bad first was yeah a lot of ingredients but it just tasted a little bland and ordinary not that it was bad tasting just nothing special guess you can say that's partly my fault for maybe expecting to much it is my first time ordering from here. Now the second problem $19.75 for a one topping thin crust pizza that I picked up? seriously that's a price I would expect in and around Chicago not Springfield did they check around and compare prices I can get almost the same pizza at a rival pizzeria DELIVERED for less than $15 that tastes better than this the only difference is the amount of ingredients isn't quite up to this place but the better taste and price make up for that. Overall I liked it and its possible that i may order or go there for something other than pizza but I'll make sure not to have a light wallet before I do. read more

The crust was not made from scratch, so the toppings separated from the crust as we picked up each piece. Very messy. This was one of their 14" thin crust pizzas. Gabatoni's and Coz's have much better pizzas. read more

All I can say is No. This was our first time trying this place and had a small group over and we all split numerous pizza's. The crust was...as nicely as I can put it...the texture of a dish sponge. Honestly if I didn't have people over and had another option for food, we would have taken it all back. About $100 later, my trash can got the majority of the crust and we all just ate a cheese blob and laughed about it. Not to mention the sausage was very scary and elementary school lunch looking like. We are not even pizza snobs. Tombstone would of honestly been better for the cost. I am not affiliated in any way with this but papa murphys family size stuffed pizza is about $19, feeds 6 people easy, and far surpasses expectations for the cost, flavor/texture size. Guess they stop answering the phone at 9. Got a recording that said they are open until 10 and all lines are busy and to try back. I tried about 3 more times before 9:15 and gave up. Poor service if you can't even get someone on the phone. read more

Terrible customer service. Ordered pizza for pick up and was told 45-50 minutes. Arrived 50 minutes later. Could tell by the line that there was going to be a wait. Manager took my payment but said nothing. Waited 35 more minutes with no update by any staff. Numerous others were waiting extended time and some orders where given to customer that were wrong. After the 35 minute additional wait I finally told manager to either give me my money back ($40 for two large thin crust pizzas is a bit expensive in this market) or give me my pizzas. She said she would check my order and apologized and offered to comp my order. Manager then stated my pizzas were "in". I asked how long and was told another 20 minutes. I said just give me my money back. She offered to give me my order for free and then give me a $40 credit to be used the next time I came to eat there. I took the $40 refund and left advising that I not only did not want the free pizzas but that I would buy frozen before Nancy's. Ridiculous experience read more
