The amount of care that this place puts into what you are looking for it so refreshing. I needed some prints of my grandmother done quickly for her funeral service and for my keeping. Ben said no problem. Come on in and they will help in anyway they can. It only took 4 days for everything to be restored, printed, and framed. I was so comforted on how they treated my hard time into a beautiful moment to cherish. I will always go to One the Wall for any of my photo needs. Special thanks to the whole team.

Sometimes it's not just the framing! The word "Gallery"…read moredescribes a place for exhibiting and selling art but really it's so much more. For me it's the experience - the time spent looking, studying, and simply browsing a collection is worth gold to me. Chemers Gallery in Tustin is that place that offers that whole experience. Every time I go in there, which I admit isn't near often enough but probably more than some, I delight in "finds". I have a fairly decent collection of artwork and it's not confined to paintings. I've ceramics, sculptures, glasswork, pottery, photographs, and a few weird pieces of found object works as well. Quite a few of those pieces have come from this jewel of a gallery so close to home. The owner Karen, and her friendly staff have always allowed me the luxury to simply roam. I have to walk through numerous times to take everything in. I get distracted by one or two pieces and then turn around and find something else completely unexpected. And, it becomes mine. I love this place!! I am a retired healthcare designer and Chemers was the art consultant on a few of our firms healthcare projects. What I enjoyed was the chosen works were always different from the predictable works too often seen in healthcare spaces and, they always complimented the concepts of our interiors. I also love the shows and exhibitions they often host here. Often soliciting works from local artists, craftspeople, and even foodies, these "pop-up" shows are always good for gifts, wearables, and sometimes taste-ables! And if I'm lucky, I often walk away with a new piece! I always look forward to stopping in on these shows and could spend an hour or more perusing. Do yourself a favor and visit this gallery - oh, and of course, don't forget, they also do excellent framing!!

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I would like to make a formal complaint regarding my curbside pickup experience at the Michaels store located on Katella Avenue in Orange, California. On Friday, June 19, at approximately 1:45 PM, I arrived to pick up a curbside order that had been marked as fulfilled earlier in the week. My confirmation and reminder emails indicated that four items were included in my order. However, when my order was brought out to my vehicle, I received only three of the four items. I attempted to contact the store by phone three separate times but was unable to reach anyone. Eventually, I called the Framing Department and spoke with Marianne. I explained that my curbside order was incomplete and that I had been unable to reach anyone for assistance. Marianne was very kind, came out promptly, and genuinely tried to help resolve the situation. She took one of my items back inside to investigate the issue and attempt to complete the order. Shortly afterward, Jesse came out to my vehicle and informed me that the store did not have enough inventory to fulfill the missing item. I explained that I had never received any email notification, cancellation notice, or refund indicating that part of my order could not be fulfilled. In fact, I had received reminder emails instructing me to pick up my order, and those emails continued to show all four items as fulfilled. Unfortunately, Jesse's response was rude, dismissive, and argumentative. Rather than acknowledging the confusion or apologizing for the inconvenience, Jesse continued to argue the point and took no accountability for the situation. As our conversation ended, she walked away shaking her head, clearly frustrated with me. I found this behavior unprofessional and disappointing. It was evident that either a system error occurred or the order was not properly updated to notify me that one of the items was unavailable. Regardless of the cause, customers should be informed when an order cannot be fully fulfilled, especially when the order status and pickup reminders indicate otherwise. As someone who had worked in restaurant and customer service industries for more than seven years and has operated a business for the last ten years, I understand the challenges that come with staffing shortages and high-pressure situations. However, those circumstances do not excuse discourteous treatment of customers. While I understand the store may have been short-staffed, there is no reason for an employee to speak to a customer in such an unkind and confrontational manner. I live in Anaheim and specifically traveled to this location because it had the items I needed. I chose curbside pickup because I had a sleeping baby in the car. Had that not been the case, I would have gone inside to address the issue directly. I am truly disappointed by the level of customer service I experienced at this Michaels location. I hope Michaels will review this incident and provide additional coaching and training regarding customer interactions, particularly during stressful situations when employees may be feeling overwhelmed. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

I'm meeting Cylons Boomer/Athena, Caprica Six, and Blair Waldorf tomorrow, what do I do?…read more Out of desperation a few years ago, I needed a photo shop. I looked for a photo shop near my house. Couldn't find one (digital photography had already started to take over, photo shops were a dying breed). Looked for one near my office and found the Enlarger on the web. Not knowing anything about them, I drove over to check out their facilities, hoping for the best. If you remember photo shops from back in the day, not all of them were good. Some only wanted to print 4" x 6" prints off your rolls. No single prints. No size changes. Some glossy only, some matte only. Others took forever. Some used 2nd rate paper. I go to a number of signing events and usually pre-plan and order my 8" x 10" photos on Shutterfly. Sometimes I can't wait a week to get my pictures. This was one of those occasions. I bring in my digital photo on a CD and Jim, the owner says, "Let's take a look!" We loaded my photo on to his Mac. While both of us looked at the screen, Jim helped me crop and adjust the color quality so that I knew what the photo would look like before he printed. Just three or four of my photos needed slight editing. He didn't charge extra for doing this (I still recommend that you edit your photos at home first). I dropped off my small order in the morning and received my 8" x 10" prints in the afternoon on the same day! Jim and his wife at the Enlarger have saved me a few times. The Enlarger is capable of doing digital editing, retouch and repair of old photos, and can even make a life size blowup cutout of you mounted on poster stock or foam core! I've only used them to print up some 8" x 10" photos. They use high quality paper and the color on the pictures were brilliant. If your order is small and not too complex, they might be able to turn it around on the same day! I got my pictures, did I get my girls? Yes. Tricia Helfer, Grace Park and Leighton Meester all signed the beautiful prints! Happy, happy Howie.
