I am a fine artist and need high resolution captures for my artworks so they can be printed. Our experience with Chris at Eye Magic Photo was great. He was extremely responsive and responded very quickly when we had any questions - and I had A LOT of questions. He was patient and made sure that we got the products that we needed. We used an array of services for our wedding. Ok this place made my heart so happy! We lost an original picture of my in laws in a fire a few weeks ago. There were no backups and I was absolutely heart broken. I found a video with a quick snippet of the picture in it! I did a screen shot and cleaned it up the best I possibly could. Its not every day you need a photo lab. Then again, its nots everyday I am honored to create a shadow box for my Grandfather; a decorated WWII Naval combat pilot. I went in to get two pictures enlarged, and another one restored, all to be done on archival stock, with high quality printing. This memorial has such a high standard, that I couldn't just trust the photos to anyone. When I got the work back from Chris & his team, I was blown away. I am so grateful to Chris for saving a cherished family photo. When he was 15 My brother-in-law's dad passed away. He has a B/W photo of his dad from the 60's giving a speech to indigenous people that he loves. It was packed away for many years after we moved. When I unpacked it again, the glass had shattered in the frame and shards were stuck firmly to the photo. Chris was the only expert who said he would like to try to fix it. He is so incredibly nice and he took his time explaining what needed to be done. A few days later he sent me an update email with a copy of the photo. I could already tell from the GIF the photo was going to be saved. When we picked it up, I was absolutely amazed with the results. Not only had he saved the photo, he cleaned up the whole image and made it so clear, not only was my BIL's dad visible, we could make out the faces of people in the shade in the background and the actual shoulder blades of people in the crowd! I contacted EyeMagic on a Saturday afternoon needing 5 color copies, front&back of a model comp card and they totally surpassed my expectations. I emailed him my images and Chris responded quickly and professionally. (They are closed sunday) By Monday morning, I checked my email and sure enough I had a preview of my comp card ready for my reviewal. I went in a few hours later to look at samples of the paper I wanted my card to be printed on and by 3pm my 5 copies were ready for pick up. I needed the layout done as well so it might have been even faster if I had that ready on my own. My comp cards were done way sooner than i expected (which is great and I highly appreciated it!) and they were printed perfectly. It's also fairly priced (I had gone to kinkos previously for the same project and my comp card came out fuzzy/grainy and I was charged waayy more than I was here at Eye Magic). I cant recommend Eye Magic and Chris more. Definitely go here if you need a project done! read more

We wanted to get my parents' wedding photo blown up for their 50th anniversary celebration.  Chris did an amazing job, from start to finish.  He took care of all the details -- scanning, touch-up, custom mat, and frame.  He even provided a contact sheet showing what the photo would look like in sepia and B&W, with different mat options, which gave us a really helpful visual of the mat and photo placement.  It was a very easy and smooth process, and we couldn't be more satisfied.  And, my folks were really touched and happy with it.  Will definitely be back for future projects! read more
