It's rightly popular with the international crowd working in the area, for its flavourful panini and relaxed atmosphere. There are only four benches inside (plus the bar) but in the warm weather there's also seating outside. This time, I had a pulled pork sandwich with caramelized onions and gherkins for €8. A bottle of water costs just €1. The sandwich was a real hand grenade of flavours. No craft beer for me at lunch, but I recommend returning for the evening aperitivo, when, between 5pm and 8pm Monday to Friday, beers and a daily rotation of appetisers cost €8 ( see photo for details). One was pasta with cracked pepper and cheese, the other pasta with red sauce and seasonings. Honestly, all the food and wines were amazing, but I preferred the pasta with cheese and cracked pepper. The staff was on par and accommodated our large group in a swift and professional manner. I'd highly recommend Peppo!
