After getting the oil change I started having oil leaks under my car, took it to my regular mechanic and they stated the drain plug was loose which caused the leaking. However, during the visit she was told that her Ford Focus required a replacement coolant reservoir. Midas charged $119.00 for the coolant reservoir and $30.00 for labor. After the visit, we researched the part pricing independently and found the same coolant reservoir available online for under $50, with multiple reputable listings--some as low as $17.99. The part number is 603-382. When we contacted the store to discuss the significant price discrepancy, we were told that Midas has no control over part pricing and that the lower-priced parts we found must have been "from China." No effort was made to explain the markup, offer a comparison, or provide any resolution. Given the substantial difference between the price charged and readily available market pricing--and the dismissive response when concerns were raised--we were very disappointed with the experience. As a result, we will not be returning to Midas nor recommending this location to others.
