Someone decided how many counter staff they would have working and they came up with on a number that made it so the line didn't move. The staff also take the phone calls so they make you wait between every customer. The guy with the right pony tail also just gave me shit for parking in the wrong place while waiting for the part. I popped in because I needed a part for my truck. I was surprised at how clean the store was.... the floors right down to the shelves and products that didn't have dust on them. It was nice to be able to grab products without having to wash my hands after. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well. It seems like there's a huge warehouse attached, so it was nice that I could just order, pay, and go without having to order or go to another store. read more

Since writing the last review I talked with the assistant manager of this NAPA location. She explained the details of the error that took place during my previous visit and apologized for it. She also gave a me a sweet deal on the wires I was buying. Apparently I hadn't been charged for them when the initial order went through so I was never out any money before. Thanks for sorting that out for me. Good stuff. She also told me that she had seen the review I wrote. So that tells me that the powers that be at NAPA head office (or whatever) is seeing these reviews. Why are they not responding to them? As soon as I had posted that negative review they should have been all over that by publicly responding and attempting to get to the bottom of things. Wow are the staff her ever amazing. The best service from any autopart store here in Edmonton. I walk in and everything was clearly laid out. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and were accommodating whether you know nothing about cars to full-on mechanics. I was working underneath my car and had over-torqued a screw, causing it to break in half. Let me tell you, it was extremely difficult to find just one single screw. I had tried Canadian Tire, AutoParts Zone, JB Power's center, and other shops with no success. I actually had little expectations with Napa based on my experiences with the other auto parts store. To my pleasant surprise they are very well equipped with parts for you whether you are servicing your vehicle or in the middle of a restoration. I walked in with my broken screw, the staff took measurements, checked their database, then after 10 minutes of looking in their backrooms they found it. Success! Sure it might have been a lot of work just for a screw, but when you love your car and want everything to work properly, you go to extreme lengths. Next time Napa will be my first choice! read more

The staff at this location do know know if they are coming or going. They are unorganized and care more about answering phone calls than dealing with a 42 person line. This store is a disgrace to the Napa name and should be shut down. I came in for a simple hose clamp, waited for 2 hours and still left with the wrong part. I will never return and have taken my business elsewhere. Shame just shame! read more

Great service. They even gave me a free oil filter for the wait time. It was a busy day and they were swamped.

I love the staff here, friendly, even warm. The Castrol synthetic oil and NAPA-branded filter change worked wonders for my domestic compact car. Not a great location and place, but I would go here again if not to Mr Lube that's closer to home and quicker. read more

I called to enquire about some parts for my VW, the woman on the phone told me that they don't carry Bosch parts. I mentioned that website indicated that they did have the parts. Her response was that's the American site. I replied, no I checked the Canadian one and then she finally decided to actually check. Eventually she replied that they could bring it in from their foreign parts distributer and I had to come in to pre-pay for it. I ended up going somewhere else, and paid 1/2 of what they quoted. read more

I took my out of province vehicle to these guys for inspection. They wanted to basically charge me the price of my truck for repairs in order for it to pass ($5000). I KNEW that it did not need some (if any) repairs as my brother (an automechanic for four years) said it was in the best shape (for the age of my truck) that he had ever seen. Now, five months later, I'm having problems with my truck because they did NOT put my vehicle back together properly. Least Worse case senerio - I could have died from a wheel falling off; best case senerio - I have to pay an additional $500 to get my truck back into the condition it was before NAPA touched it. read more

Of all the stores that sell new auto parts, NAPA is my favorite. The selection is ample, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the quality of auto parts is excellent. NAPA sells not only new parts and accessories but also a good variety of refurbished and remanufactured parts. This place can afford to sell all parts at lower prices than their competitors because they rebuild and remanufacture them on site, in their own warehouse. NAPA allows their customers to save a lot of money and time, which otherwise would have been spent on searching for the parts. read more
