Eurasia Automotive - My 2015 VW Touareg at Eurasia Auto.

As a last resort we brought the car to Eurasia Automotive and in one visit they were able to evaluate and solve the problem. Now we breath easier when driving the Audi and have a vehicle to drive for many more years. Thank you Eurasia Automotive!

As anyone who owns an older German vehicle knows, finding a shop that is both highly skilled and trustworthy is not easy. Eurasia Auto has proven to be both. I brought my Touareg in with an intermittent misfire that another shop had been unable to diagnose. At first, the issue wouldn't act up for them either, and instead of guessing and throwing parts at it, they were honest about what they found and asked me to continue driving and monitoring it. When the issue eventually became a constant misfire with a flashing check engine light and EPC warning, they methodically worked through the diagnosis. They swapped coils, performed compression testing on all cylinders, scoped the ignition system, and ultimately traced the issue to a failed injector. While the intake was removed, they also addressed a leaking valve cover. What impressed me most was what they didn't do. They inspected the intake valves for carbon buildup and determined that walnut blasting was not necessary, even though they could have easily added it to the bill. The vehicle now runs great, and I have confidence that the repair was done properly for the right reasons. The team communicates well, documents their findings, and takes the time to diagnose issues rather than simply replacing parts and hoping for the best. Their pricing has always felt fair for the quality of work being performed, and they stand behind what they do. If you own a Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, or any European vehicle in the Edmonton area, I would not hesitate to recommend Eurasia Auto. Highly skilled, honest, and fair. That's a rare combination these days.

One dealership had a nice 2011 with a 19,900 price tag but as soon as I started to negotiate on it, the 3 year warranty came out plus the warranty /insurance on the catalytic convertor. Now the price was $25k! including gst if yu did a cash deal. I left empty handed. I saw Jacky's advert on KIJIJI and went to look at it and it was good. No pressure and a straight forward process. The best thing was he didn't push a warranty and other hidden charges on me. He did offer a 3rd party warranty if I was interested, but that was it. The car only came with one key, and Jacky offered to get a second one made up for me at no charge. I really enjoyed the experiance with Platinum Fine Cars and I would reccomend them to anyone wanting a hassle free experiance.

I've experienced them all multiple times and I'm sorry to say but it's amazing how the stereotypes of a sleazy car salesman are alive and well in the industry.... That being said - I actually ENJOYED the experience of buying my Honda Civic at Platinum Fine Cars today! Jacky and Jacky were a complete breath of fresh air.. there were no "salesman lines" no sheisty hooks.. just 2 genuine, knowledgeable, and friendly professionals. I will recommend this establishment above all others to anyone looking to buy a used vehicle, hands down. Not a massive selection albeit a quality selection which I would take any day. Make this your first stop. I have faith that these men will not let you down.. worst case, you drive away empty handed with a renewed faith in the used car buying experience. Thank you guys for a very positive shopping experience.
