The manual said I should get transmission fluid, brake fluid changed, a tune-up, etc. Revolution Motors was recommended to me. The receptionist was efficient, explained the process and told me that when they finished the inspection of the car they would call and let me know the cost, and get approval for the work. They gave me a car to use while mine was in the shop. Long-story short my Forester is in great shape, and they told me that I didn't need to do the scheduled maintenance because everything was great (it is a very low mileage vehicle). Only charged me for the oil change - and gave me a great price. They have definitely won a customer for the future. So glad that the folks on Reddit suggested them. I'll be back as needed.

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to these guys in 1995. They have been repairing my car (and…read moremy friends) ever since. Strengths: Incredible customer service. They are genuinely not happy until you are. Clear explainations of problems, careful tracking of your vehicle history, friendly and skilled staff, willingness to refer you if someone else could do a job cheaper/faster/better. They are particulary good at recommending the cheapest effective options. Once the solution was to hit a part with a wrench; it worked, and they charged me nothing. On a couple of occasions where repairs were not spot-on, they fixed the problem without hesitation. Case in point: I had a starter that chronically failed over a few years. I only paid for it once, but they replaced it and found the root cause of the problem. You owe it to yourself to check them out.

Seriously, this was a decade-old car that'd made several trips into the dusty desert for Burning Man (among many other long trips) and when we got it back we had to double-check the license plate to be sure we were looking at the same car. They detailed it to pretty much new, inside and out. The wheel wells, the tyres, the interior pleather, all of it shone. Truly special, I tell you. But that's not what reminded me to write this review. Noooooo, what was really special was the free bottled water and hot coffee and massage chairs in the lobby of the Lexus South Pointe building.
