He took us to the car and all 4 doors were open. We smelled air freshener that soon dissipated. We spotted stains at the 4 corners of the interior roof and knew from research it was from the roof rails leaking. The sales man had opened the doors and 'bombed' the car to hide the musty smell of mildew. These leaks can corrode electronics and wiring. We told him no thanks and left.
