I'm very pleased with the results, he speaks much clearer now and no longer uses the filler words. She also helped him with recent interviews which went very well. I would highly recommend her, she is very professional and well versed in a wide range of speech and communication areas. My son found her very easy to work with. Thanks, Liz.

I have nothing but positive and wonderful remarks about Speech and Voice Enterprises from day one…read moreof my one-on-one coaching with Elizabeth Peterson. Firsthand, I inquired about the group webinar but since the class was getting full quickly, she took me readily into an individual coaching after a quick assessment. Honestly, I preferred this method so it all worked out well for me. I very much enjoyed working with Liz. It is a six-week session and can be flexible. Her professionalism and expertise in Accent Reduction are above and beyond my expectations. The provided materials - Accent Reduction 101 Third Edition and links to audio files - are extremely useful and easy to follow and understand. Her coaching skills are immensely engaging and there's never a dull moment. I've learned a great deal about how to leverage and maximize my full potential using the speech stairs method and placing my speech articulators in the right position to have a better range of motion and speak with clarity and confidence. I have a better grasp of the unusual nuances and oral resonance of speaking American English. I find all these tools beneficial for my future venture into teaching ESL. I may have missed out on the group webinar; however, Liz has given me an excellent opportunity to work with her other client(s) to enhance and reinforce our conversational skills. Overall, this class is worth investing in and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to jump start and improve their skill sets in mastering the art of speaking the American English.

Let me start this post by saying that I am generally skeptical in nature, and given all the…read morespeculation about chiropractic care, doubly so about it. However, I'd tried it twice before. I went once when I was 20, and my mother recommended I go see her chiropractor for some pain I was having. Now, I was skeptical at that time too, but I was living under her roof at the time, so I did as she said. And, to my surprise, I felt better after seeing him. Fast forward to my early 30s, and I'm no longer living under mom's roof; however, I started experiencing the same sort of pain for which I had previously seen mom's chiropractor. So, having seen success in the past, I decided to go see another chiropractor. This time, unfortunately, I chose randomly from a google search of Denver chiropractor's. Poor decision on my part. After seeing the second chiropractor three times, I was unhealed and felt that he was just guessing as to what he should be doing given my complaints. After that useless experience, I became highly skeptical of chiropractic care. However, when my knees starting giving me pain, a massage-therapist friend of mine recommended that I go see Dr. Kennedy, and I tried a chiropractor for the third time in my life. Dr. Kennedy has changed by perspective on chiropractic care. Dr. Kennedy takes time to try to understand his clients' needs. My first visit with him lasted well over an hour, and he performed a number of diagnostic tests to try to determine the cause of my ailments. It was only once he understood the problem(s), that he began to do any manipulations on me. I've now visited Dr. Kennedy three times, and the knee pain is completely gone (I even went skiing this weekend with no sign of pain whatsoever). Moreover, he continues to research what might be causing my other issues. Every time I've visited him, Dr. Kennedy has given me the impression that he continues to think about his patients after they leave his office. He's vested in their wellness, and wants to do everything he can to make them feel better. Unlike the last chiropractor I visited (who seemed unbothered by the fact that I was seeing no results), Dr. Kennedy has a real sense of duty in helping those who visit him. He takes time to understand his patient's ailments and needs, and takes time to explain what he is doing to aid them. He explains the science behind chiropractic care as he goes along, and takes a holistic approach to healing his patients, incorporating both eastern and western modalities into his practice. He has also suggested that I start taking some supplements, but has never pushed them on me. In fact, quite the opposite, he offered to give me a bottle of something he thought would really help me. If you've considered chiropractic care in the past but have been too much of a skeptic to try it, I highly recommend Dr. Kennedy, as his approach and results are likely to alleviate many of your concerns. I know he alleviated mine. Dr. Kennedy is sincere, honest, caring, and perhaps most importantly good at what he does.

He's beginning to overcome textural hang ups, pickiness, chewing/swallowing struggles, etc. We still aren't there, but we are getting closer to being a better, more well rounded eater. We are pleased with the therapy itself but the front desk here sucks. There's almost never anyone here and frankly they've been downright rude to me when I've had questions in the past. One of the girls even hung up on my husband when I asked her if she would be willing to talk to him so he could explain some insurance/scheduling issues with her. He was very respectful but she simply didn't want to listen or deal with the issue. Zero class! We aren't demanding or unreasonable people at all so that type of rudeness is completely unacceptable. I wish they would invest more in finding good office staff that can be present there during regular office hours and can deal with issues appropriately and respectfully.

To be honest, we knew nothing about orofacial myology and it all sounded a bit too good to be true (97% success rate, etc.). I looked online for actual personal reviews and there were hardly any (which is one of the reasons I wanted to be sure to add this review here). In the end, we took a leap of faith and have been delighted with Mary (the owner and therapist at this practice). There is nothing mysterious about how she achieves that striking success rate - just lots of practice, commitment to daily exercises, and a lot of 1-on-1 support from Mary herself. I can also say that she is a consummate professional and a natural at working with children. She has helped my daughter feel so excited and proud of all her hard work so far. Speaking of which, my daughter really did stop sucking her thumb that first day (with the help of some thumb barriers). And just a month in, we no longer even need those during the day anymore. She has truly moved past the habit, but just needs some extra help at night. I will update once the therapy is complete in another few weeks, but I am amazed at how far she has come and have no doubt that we will end up among one of Mary's numerous success stories.
