I was trying to be very careful about avoiding gluten but I was still so sick and my doctors had me on so many different medications. I believe side effects and drug interactions were adding to the problem. So I took a chance and contacted a fellow integrative medicine doctor of Dr. Burkhart's, Dr. Jessica Madden. I explained all the symptoms I was having and how I would often end up in the ER with acute lower abdominal pain. Since her practice was located too far away she felt Dr. Burkhart, who is located in Napa, would be more accessible. Although the trip from Bakersfield, where I was living at the time, was still a bit far I decided to contact her and set up an appointment. I was so glad I went because she helped me learn better ways to avoid gluten and manage the disease. I felt a lot better by the time my next appointment came around and I was taking a lot less of the medications I was prescribed. She specializes in all kinds of digestive disorders, like IBS and Chronn's disease, and has Celiac herself. So she can also relate to her patient's health issues, really cares about her patients and knows how to help. I would recommend her to anyone who is suffering from Celiac or any other digestive problem because I can confidently say you'll start feeling so much better once you do!

I finally found Dr. B a few years ago and she told me "You are sick! She is the EXPECT on Celiac and related issues and it's been a journey back to health but she's been there with answers, guidance, and positivity every step of the way. Thank you Dr B - forever grateful!!!!!!!!!!!

On one of my sessions, I could "feel the energy" waves for hours afterwards (I didn't know that was possible). I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in acupuncture TCM. I haven't tried it yet, but there is also a Thai massage therapist in the office. Hoping to pair the sessions sometime in the near future.

I found Dr.Zhan to be very knowledgeable, professional and caring. At the time of our first appointment I asked about their billing process to make sure charges were consistent going forward as she isn't very savvy with money, bills, etc. After 6 weeks of acupuncture my mom admitted to not feeling any better- totally fair, given arthritis cannot really be healed in this practice. However, at the end of her last appointment the Dr recommended some herbs for tea to help with her Sciatica. My Mom of course said okay, but was not made aware the costs was $95 until after the card was swiped. (95$!) I do not think this is fair or respectful, and quite honestly feel they were taking advantage of her. Even the shuttle driver who waited for her during the appointment and witnessed the transaction said they were taking advantage. I don't mind the referral for the herbs, but the price seems rather exorbitant and given my mom's age and uncertainty with money, it's seems very clear to me what they're up to.

I'm now a believer. Let me briefly explain. I've had my share of pain issues over my past 48…read moreyears of life. Like many of you, I was taught to "Walk it off." For the most, part my back pain would subside after a couple of weeks and was bearable. However, recently my back introduced me to the joys of Sciatica pain and it was brutal. I couldn't get out of bed or really walk without assistance and forget about picking up something off of the floor. I was desperate for relief and my wife scheduled me an appointment with Allison at Re-Vitalize. Skeptical of acupuncture and cupping, having never experienced either, I figured why not. Well Allison checked me in, was very polite and friendly and her office was clean and inviting. In no time she was plying her trade and explaining what she suspected was the cause of my pretty severe pain. Honestly, the acupuncture was painless and the cupping took a moment to get used to but both produced relief beyond my expectations. After she was done and I stood up, I immediately noticed a measurable difference in the pain I had just been experiencing. After about 6 hours, I felt the pain had subsided to at least fifty percent. I feel foolish for having suffered back pain, these past couple years, when there was a seasoned and accomplished practitioner of acupuncture and cupping that produced immediate pain reduction. So, I am now a believer. If you are not sure, what do you have to lose? If you are looking for a good practitioner then Allison is the person you are seeking. I am Not getting paid for this review but I will happily pay Allison to work her magic. Cheers.

I walked in to her new office and she wasn't wearing a mask in the middle of a pandemic that has killed more than 500k Americans. Her reasoning was that she didn't feel sick so she shouldn't have to wear a mask. This type of reasoning is why we're in the predicament that we're in. Putting people at risk unnecessarily because you "don't feel sick so shouldn't have to wear a mask" when it has been proven that a large percentage of people are asymptomatic and you are seeing different people all day should be a no brainer for healthcare professionals. I wouldn't trust this person with any aspect of my healthcare.
