The service was impeccable and I couldn't believe how clean my kitchen was at the end of the meal. She really made me and most importantly, my husband, feel very special that night. Since his dinner, I have been to a number of other events that she has catered and her food has been fantastic. She simply doesn't miss.

It looked like a tub of fungal infection risk. He refunded my second night, thankfully. He offered housekeeping but this bathroom is beyond that. Didn't even wrinkle the sheets I stayed with a friend because if that's their bathroom standard I don't care if it "looks" clean I can't trust their sterilization process. Really, just Don't bother....... room and amenities look decent but it's truly only a commercial appeal here, it's not worth it.

Had stayed in many places on this trip and I've got to say that the most fancy and overflowing amenities don't always make you feel comfortable and happy. This place had the right balance. Immaculately kept up and tastefully landscaped and layed out in the cutest fashion, with the friendliest owner. Beautiful little courtyard and pool. It just made you feel comfortably happy.

Lots of bickering amongst owners at Palmetto Palms on issues like DOG lots, what to "fix" when, and etc. Some people want one thing fixed first while someone else wants something else. Also lots and lots of birds of prey ( CROWS ) and some problems with PALM RATS etc. Also it used to be park model type homes there and due to IAN it was destroyed so now it is mostly rv's. Some people don't seem to want that, others do. All in all, the only thing it currently has going for it appears to be it is close to Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach ( if you like that) although the no seeums and mosquitos are brutal in the "resort" itself. I immediately asked around to find out who they were, after the person who planned the party told me that she would NEVER use other event staff I thought I would try them out myself. My son recently graduated from college. I invited the guest, bought the decorations, and cooked the food. I decided to call Friendly Faces because I was having in-laws in town who I haven't seen in a few years and I wanted to socialize. They arrived to my house an hour before the party, equip with everything they needed. Alamar went right to the bar and started to set up while Madelyn started setting out my food and helping with my decorations. I felt so comfortable with these two in my house, within an hour the party was ready to go and I felt like I had made two new friends. The party was a great success and I actually got to enjoy it. They setup, served my guests, and then cleaned everything from the tables to the dishes. They are truly professional, fun, and a pleasure to work with. I can't wait until my daughter graduates so I can use them again!

The best thing about this place is the location. It's directly across from the beach and easy access to all restaurants, shops, and the pier. The guy at the front desk, Adam, was extremely helpful and gave us great suggestions on what to check out in the area. Now the actual room. The room was a good size for 2 people: A living room, kitchen, dining room, 1 bedroom and bathroom. The furniture, however, was extremely dated. The couches, appliances, curtains, and dressers all looked old. But the place was clean. We never used the pool or hot tub since we were out every day, however, all of the other tenants were using it every day all day. So I'm sure they are great. Also, every morning (except Sundays) between 8-9am, they also provide coffee and donuts. Overall, the location was beneficial since we had a parking spot and didn't have to pay for parking in the area and it was close to a lot of great restaurants.

It is a pretty and quiet little bay full of jumping fish, diving seagulls and of course- manatees! We enjoyed laying out on the deck and taking dips in BOTH of the 2 pools and watching the para-sailors go back and forth in the skyline since the beach is so close. Just around the corner is Times Square which is the hustling and bustling area of FMB where the pier is. We stayed in a 1 bedroom on the second floor with a balcony which is shared with the room next door, but there is a small partition. We wished it was a more private balcony but we could see how it would be nice if we had a group staying with us next door and we could all use the balcony together. The decor is your basic Florida beach motif but not overdone. It was a good sized unit, the bathroom had a large shower with pretty tiles and a full kitchen with refrigerator and stove top (no oven). We could've used more cooking utensils as we did a lot of cooking/grilling. AND there was only one grill for the whole Inn! I'm not sure if it happens often, but we had scheduling conflict with another guest who wanted to use the grill at the same time we did! We worked it out but it was awkward to have to decide who goes first. I would recommend they get at least one more! Connie the owner, lives at the Inn and was available to answer all questions and was very kind. We DID find it a little strange that she asked us not to bring guests onto the property since the Inn was completely booked but since we only had a couple who are Ft Myers natives stop by she said that would be fine. The price is pretty inexpensive compared to other Inns in the area and had all the amenities that we needed. Great views, quiet and clean. We would definitely consider staying here again :)
