Our knowledgeable guide Brad told us if you go in the late summer (wet season), 2' or so of water is flowing through it. So, what you see in the two seasons is different. They also have a nice gift shop, small museum and a restaurant. We saw all sorts of birds and animals. Even though they aren't necessarily exotic or rare, you are seeing them in their habitat. The ranch property really represents FL, more so than some other types of tours. And, it is for all ages and reasonably priced. Our visiting late teenage aged grandsons and friend enjoyed the tour every bit as much as we did. Highly recommend!

Wow! Where do I begin? Great Wolf Lodge was such a fun family getaway! We live about two hours away…read moreand drove over Sunday morning, stayed one night, and checked out on Monday. It was one of the best family experiences we've had, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Starting with the location, the resort is conveniently situated right off I-75 and is impossible to miss. The property is huge and offers plenty of parking. My only minor complaint is that there is very little shade in the parking lot. Check-in was quick and easy. Kirsten at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She answered all of our questions and made the arrival process seamless. Upon check-in, every guest receives a pair of wolf ears, which is a fun touch and makes everyone feel like part of the "pack." Our toddler was celebrating a birthday a few days later, so we purchased the birthday package, which was under $40 and absolutely worth it. It included two large balloon displays, a birthday poster, a special birthday wolf plush, birthday wolf ears, and a bag filled with toys and treats. One of the coolest perks was the included birthday cup, which could be filled at the candy bar in the gift shop. Our toddler loved leaving with a cup full of gummy bears! The resort's app is also very helpful. It provides a schedule of all the activities happening throughout the day. There are so many kid-friendly events offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The lobby itself is incredibly interactive and comes alive at night with story time, dance parties, and other entertainment. It's truly something you have to experience in person. The resort also has dining options on-site, including a full-service restaurant and smaller food spots such as Dunkin'. Of course, the biggest attractions are the Adventure Park and water park. The Adventure Park includes a ropes course, arcade, mini golf, bowling, and more. During our short stay, we spent our time in the arcade and water park. The arcade was a lot of fun and reasonably priced. Everything is loaded onto a prepaid card, making it easy to add money, track credits, and store tickets for prize redemption. The water park was the true standout. It is massive and has something for every age group. There are multiple play areas for younger children, exciting slides for older kids and adults, a lazy river, a wave pool, and a giant tipping bucket that drenches everyone below. And that's just the indoor water park. Outside, there is another large pool with a beach-style entry that gradually gets deeper. There are lounge chairs positioned right in the water, which made for a very relaxing experience. The outdoor area also includes a hot tub, bar, and convenient restroom facilities. One feature I especially appreciated was the wide variety of complimentary life jackets available for children of different ages and sizes. Being able to use them throughout the park was such a great benefit for families. Honestly, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. From the staff and activities to the water park and family-friendly atmosphere, Great Wolf Lodge delivered an incredible experience. We are already planning our next trip back!

The look on my grandkids faces was priceless. So I will suffer with another virus for them. We did a 2 night stay by using a Groupon. Thank you Groupon. It made it affordable which is always a plus. The only reason I gave it a 4 is the overall affordability. It's a very pricey place. You pay for everything outside of what you pay for your room. Thank goodness it includes the waterpark passes. That was primarily why we were there. And we all enjoyed every minute. Outside of the water park we spent a lot of time in the Arcade. It was a lot of fun. A lot of tickets won and they walked away with some great prizes. Over all our stay was good. Room was nice and spacious. And comfortable. The activities on the lobby for the kids were great. Especially the story time. Watching our 2 year old grandson enjoy that was priceless.

We did the dolphin ecological tour with our two toddlers and the team truly went above and beyond to make it special for them. They had little sand baskets ready, let the kids drive the boat, and made them feel so included and excited the entire time. We were lucky enough to see dolphins AND manatees, which was such a cool experience for all of us. Beyond that, everyone was so welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. You can tell they genuinely care about creating a memorable experience while teaching about the local environment and wildlife. Special shout out to Annie, JR and Dennis for being so amazing! My reservation clearly stated that it was prepaid and…read morefully guaranteed, yet upon arrival I was told I needed to pay additional money to check in. I showed the receptionist my confirmation email and even called the 1-800 number listed on the reservation, where they confirmed I did not owe anything further. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the receptionist became extremely irate, yelled and screamed at me in front of my child, then stormed off and refused to continue speaking with me. After the customer service representative spoke with him, they ended up issuing me a full refund. I am only giving one star because I cannot believe a resort would leave a woman and her child without a hotel room on Memorial Day weekend. Completely unacceptable customer service and an awful experience.

We had a trouble-filled stay…read more - Our marina-suite wasn't ready when we arrived at 3:45pm. - We were given a room in the main building & the manager forgot he moved us there - other guests entered our room hours later because he gave them our room # & door pad key code! - Our door didn't have a way to bolt lock or chain lock for added safety. - The room has old furniture, old sheets, 2 power outlets but only 1 usable, and the room smelled like cleaning chemicals; there was only a thin cover on the beds, no flat sheets or blankets; the lobby music played all night long which wasn't white noise, it was spooky. - We slept wrapped up in our own beach towels & checked out at the crack of dawn, exhausted. THUMBS DOWN
