The voicemail we received that DOES NOT reference jackhammering (Diogo, please see) we would not have gone to the resort if they were honest

If you are planning a trip to the Ritz, take pause. Without a doubt, the most disappointing travel experience of my life. We booked at the Ritz several months ago for a family trip over Memorial Weekend. A few weeks before our arrival, we received a message that the property was undergoing renovations and some areas might be closed off. We saw the water slides would be open, so we figured, how bad could it be. Ha! We arrived after 7 last night, so there was no construction going on at the time. The reception told us our balconies were locked (what?). All but 1 of the restaurants were closed. The lobby was closed and we entered through plastic tarps. Not a great first impression, but decided to power through. 8 am (on Saturday, Memorial weekend) the jackhammering began. And has not stopped (its almost 3). You can hear it all throughout the resort. Breakfast is in a ballroom. Its more like a company meeting than a luxury hotel. The whole experience has been so disappointed. Its surprising that the Ritz would rather stay open during these conditions and give guests a subpar experience (while still paying $1,000 a night) than shut down and reopen fully ready. I feel terrible for the employees, who are truly doing the best they can in these awful conditions. The management really dropped the ball on this and definitely damaged their own brands reputation. We decided to end our vacation after 1 day and go home, where at least we don't have to listen to jackhammers all day. Diego, please see the attached voicemail transcription that clearly DOES NOT mention jackhammering

Fantastic all around stay. Each time we've stayed here we enjoyed everything from the rooms to the area, to the friendliness of the staff. The grounds are beautiful, it's a great place to have a conference, and the building itself is kept in top condition.

The Ritz sets the bar so unrealistically high, it's in a standard all on its own. The staff is so helpful and always welcoming. The rooms are immaculate and the turn down service is a sweet treat. They think of EVERYTHING and because it was me and hubby on a special trip, we had several complimentary treats delivered to our door. The bed is comfortable we decided to order the same mattress for our home. I love it when we get to stay here.

If you're looking for a family-friendly destination in Florida, the Ritz Carlton Naples Golf Resort Tiburón is the right place for you. Their pool area features a waterpark with several slides, a lazy river and kids zone . There are several activities throughout the day at the pool and the adjacent lawn such as balloon art and lawn games. They also pass out complimentary snacks for the kids throughout the day. The Resort also has a huge golf course. Starting from July 6 '23, guests will be able to take a complimentary shuttle service to the beach resort and use all the amenities over there. I loved the little coffee shop they had and got my Mocca and oatmeal fix every morning. My son loved the donut lollipops. I wished there would have been more variety food wise in general but I feel like this is one of the Covid aftermaths which they are working on to improve.

I stayed here a few weeks ago for 3 nights (for a VIP Art Auction event). I love the rooms, the soft bed, the coffee maker, the giant TV, the modern bathroom, closet with iron and ironing board, the desk, the 2 seated sofa and the huge patio. The hallways are nicely decorated. There are 2 restaurants and a coffee shop plus many ballrooms and a business center plus outside, golf course, pool and water slides. Parking is either self park ($20/night) or valey ($30/night) plus car charging stations. There is a shuttle which takes people to the other Ritz-Carlton by the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great amenities and really comfortable stay. Worth the drive from Broward.

    Balcony view.

My husband and I booked several months ago a high room, balcony, with resort view. We got a 4th floor, balcony, and view of the entrance roof and parking lot. We did use our bonvoy points...however I would have never paid $900+ for this room. I am also disappointed in myself for using so many points for a 3 star (my opinion) room. Outdoor restaurant is new, mediocre, and expensive. $55 daily resort fee. $30 self parking daily or $40 valet. Furniture is worn, floor not well vacuumed, shower slowly drains. Good points are: staff are friendly, lazy river, pool slides, bike rentals, shuttle service.

Open air, close to the pool, the bar /restaurant is called Ria: a Modern Latin American Street Food hotel outlet. The food was super-fresh and well done. Just what you'd expect from a Ritz-Carlton. Would definitely go back and play a round of golf there too!

Really disappointed in how this place treats locals. Very much excited to attend their 12 days of Christmas Cocktails event. They advertise locally but they aren't interested in local business. Went there first night, crowded, extremely poor service. They decided to host golf event and the Christmas event at the same time and they cant handle it. Had a great drink ( Day 1 of 12 days. Planned on attending next 11 days. Night 2 we went again excited for the nights new xmas drink. Were stopped down below, they wouldn't even let us in. Said if we wanted in we would have to park a half mile away at an elementary school and walk back. Wow. We left. It appeared all the other locals in line did the same. Haven't been back and don't plan on it. Skipping the holiday market too now.

Water Park with lazy river and slides!

Over the course of our weeklong visit to Florida, my travel companion and I spent four beautiful days lounging by the Hammock Bay Clubhouse pool, ordering from the Clubhouse restaurant and being well taken care of by the entire staff. When you arrive, you go through the Hammock Bay entrance and show your member ID, then you turn left to head back to the clubhouse and pool area. There is ample parking for guests to use. You walk through the clubhouse, past a gym that is open from 10 AM - 5 PM, and both the men's and women's locker rooms, and then straight out to the pool area. There is seating for guests just looking to eat, and a large bar. There are towels for guests use and often bottles of water sitting on ice by the entrance. There are many different areas for lounging by the large pool. We opted for a sunnier spot to the far right near the jacuzzi spa. When we got hungry, we'd either walk over to the dining area and grab a table or ask a staff member to take our order by the pool. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, polite, and helpful. They got to know us personally, and remember our names and membership information after just one visit. The food itself is delicious. The menu changes occasionally, but everything is fresh. We loved trying the brisket nachos, a pepperoni pizza, the cobb salad, another salad that was full of fruit, and the grilled chicken sandwich. That sandwich was a highlight for me, I ordered it twice. The fries are also delicious and beer battered style. The aioli mayo on the sandwich is also delicious. My travel companion was also a hugeeee fan of the Piña Coladas!

All four in our group were covered with mosquitos the entire time. There were a dozen on us the entire round. None of us could concentrate on any shots since we were surround by buzzing mosquitos. After paying $170 a person a round with $90 each for rented clubs, we expected better. We could not leave soon enough after the round finished. We stayed covered with mosquitos until we got into our car. I literally have over a hundred bites on me after the round. I tried to bring this to the attention of our concierge at the JW Marriott where we were staying. I figured a high client service hotel would be concerned about a guests experience. He said he was sorry, but he said there was nothing he could do. He advised me to call the Hammock Bay Pro Shop. I called the Hammock Bay Pro Shop and Nick answered my call. He said he was sorry, but nothing he could do. After paying $260, we expected more. If mosquitos are that bad, they should warn before we start the round. Maybe give a free can of deet per person per round. I highly suggest you never play this course during the summer since they are all excuses and do not care about making the experience right. I would have given no stars if that was an option.

Short and certainly not worth what they charge but they do due to supply (lack of) and demand (very high). I can accept the fact that they charge what they can get. However, this may be the worst driving range I have ever experienced in all my years. I went there for the first time to hit balls, paid the overpriced charge of $22 for a large bucket and I had to hit off of "mats" that weren't golf mats at all. It was a green covering over hard, bumpy dirt. You could not hit balls off of these. I get more forgiveness from my living room carpet. I moved onto the grass but was quickly told by the Ranger that it was forbidden. When I told him you can't hit off those "mats", he just defended them and said I couldn't hit off the grass. I get golf courses alternate between hitting off mats and grass for all the right reasons. But the mats should be mats and not mini golf green coverings. Investing in real golf mats would provide them with a 10 fold return. They obviously don't care about providing a good golf experience for the money. All they care about is the sound of the register. I will never go back. Do yourself a favor and go to Stoneybrook or Spanish Wells.

They have a lot of regular activities to keep everyone busy and never get bored. Tennis is huge there and well run. Bocce is a bit too serious :) NOW - for the down side: The costs. After owning for several years we realized that unless you are literally made of money, it's not a place you should live. From the first month we moved in three years ago until we sold last week, (snowbirds) it was special assessment after special assessment. First the kitchen, then elevators, then extra for flood insurance, then the golf course, and then the clubhouse which was at a cost of $8MM. All passed along to the owners. We were very lucky to own a golf membership which we purchased for $40k and now has gone up to $85k. Since there is a waiting list for these memberships, we were lucky to sell our place. The costs to own in ECC have skyrocketed. That was a plus for us as we were able to make a nice profit on our own sale. The financial management of the club is the problem. One day an email will be sent out to all members regarding inflation, rising cost of gasoline, market downturns, etc and the next week they want more money to update the clubhouse. Makes no sense. Again, to the multi millionaires that live there, they may not care. Bottom line is it's a great place for those that have unlimited disposable income. But get ready because you will spend all of it. It's country club life at it's peak. One final note: The community itself has very nice people.
