Searched Ice Cream in Naples & was shocked to see a near 5 Star Perfect Review. Had to check this place out to see if it lived up to the hype & am excited to say YES! NICS is located at the end of a very low key strip mall accross from an exotic car dealership. Immediately upon walking in that smell hits. The smell is nostalgic & can only be described as GOOD ICE CREAM is sold here. Inside was clean, we were immediately greeted & looked around at all the options. There are a bunch of flavors to choose from as well as a reach in freeezer for taking premade items home. After a quick sample, I went for a chocolate covered waffle bowl of Butterscotch Brownie & loved it! I can see why this place got the near perfect review, it really did check all the boxes. This is a fun place, I felt happier just walk-in in. Perhaps it was the bright colors and knowing what was coming. The staff was super nice. The Peruvian lady who waited on me was super nice. I got the hot fudge sundae with raspberry chocolate and the dulce de leche ice cream. Yummmeeee! read more

Visited Naples Ice Cream Shopee right before going back home. They were closing at 9pm and we called at 8:50, they were so nice to stay open for us. It was our first time here! Since they just reopened for COVID, they were advising us how they constantly wipe everything down. It made us feel really safe and clean. Such a super sweet couple! I got the Dulce de Leche with cheesecake chunks. Vanilla ice cream, caramel swirls, and cheesecake bites. SO YUMMY! Every bite was filled with something. My boyfriend got the toffee carabu, which he said was delicious. I was with a party of 6, and everybody was happy with their choices! Will defitenly be coming back when we come back in town. read more

WE FINALLY FOUND OUR ICECREAM PLACE !! If you want to waste your time, go check out other icecreameries. If you want the best icecream in Naples, go here. Decor: Gave Willy Wonka a run for his money. It was Impeccably clean. I felt tempted to lay on the strawberry floor. Service: It was more than Good service,it was an absolute treat. I don't know if the people or the ice cream were better. I would take anyone here from my Grandma to a foreign ambassador or an entire class of second graders. He was in The Mood for Icecream, She Wasn't: I wasn't going to order icecream but I got convinced just being there. I got Black Cherry and OH BOY. Juicy cherries smooth flavor. It fixed craving for something I didn't even know I was craving. If Icecream grew up and got his Masters, this is what that ice cream would be like. $$: Had such a good time I forget to look at the receipt.I can't remember the last time I was excited to go back to a icecream place and try new flavors. The short: Awesome mom and pops ice cream spot with a wide variety of flavors and AMAZING owners. Make sure to visit when in town! The long: Took a trip to Naples for the weekend with the family. After finishing dinner one of the night, we had a sweet tooth and had a craving for some ice cream. Ended up finding this spot and gave it a shot. We are really glad we did cause the ice cream was really tasty and the staff was great. Everyone got their own ice cream so I don't remember theirs but I got the toffee caribou. Super rich and creamy with a good amount of toffee and caramel. Also grabbed a side of hot fudge which was great. As a side note, this visit was during the slow opening after the pandemic of Covid. The reason why I mention it is cause the owners were extremely careful and clean with everything they did. They separated everything and didn't even separated where they stood and their interaction as to avoid cross contamination. I applaud them and feel like cleanliness is a habit they will keep in their future. All in all, I highly suggest taking a visit there as the ice cream was great and spot had a nice ambiance. Also the prices very very reasonable. We will deff make a stop there on our next visit. read more

Being newly vegan, I'm always looking for a new good place with yummy dairy-free options. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had flavor choices for me, and delicious ones I must add. Today I got the coconut almond fudge with chocolate syrup and it was good to every last bite! My husband got the same flavor and loved it, and he's not even a big dessert-type guy. We got there 3 mins before closing time and they happily brought our party in to serve us. We're still in the midst of the Corona Virus and we felt very comforted by how well sanitized they kept everything, even down to the doorknobs. Since businesses still can't legally seat customers inside yet, we hung out by our car outside while we ate our ice cream. Even though it was well passed closing time, one of the owners came outside and said they'd leave the front door open for us in case we needed to use their trash can, and even offered to put it outside for us. It's little things like that that show how much a business values their customers. This will be our new must-stop ice cream shop when we visit Naples!! read more

Dulce de leche is a favorite of mine & my daughter ordered the "Smurf". Most kids themed flavors are usually just sugar grenades. Rudest experience in my 17years. As someone who always supports local. Thought I would bring my friend for a bite of ice cream for her birthday. being late in the evening we just wanted to share a cup. I asked for an extra cup and spoon. I was told, "we have to make money. our rent is very high. So no." Thinking they were joking, i said, "Really? I can't share my ice cream?" they replied, No, last week we had a family of 5 in here sharing. They used 78 napkins and 5 spoons! we have to pay our high rent!" I explained, " it's business, you sell your clients what they desire ". I am a diamond sales person, I do not tell my clients they can not buy a half carat diamond because I need them to buy a 1 carat so I can pay my rent!" Who says that to a customer? You sell them what that can afford and/or want and thank them kindly for what they have to spend and for chosing to spend it with you. In the end, I was pushed out of the store and told to, "take my naples attitude out the door!" wow. I know business is hard.
