I've never posted an online review but my experiences at Naples Mattress have been fantastic, and I feel compelled to inform the public of this wonderful business. A few years ago I went to Naples Mattress and met the owner, Jerry. Jerry treated me like a VIP and really took the time to get to know me, ask me about my sleep preferences, mattress likes/dislikes, my husband's needs, and any health issues that might warrant a particular kind of bed. He personally spent an hour with me, leading me around the store to try a variety of mattresses and get a feel for what I liked. Jerry genuinely cares about fitting the customer with the right mattress for them, and this is what sets Naples Mattress apart from the competition. Jerry doesn't disregard your personal taste to get you to buy the most expensive bed like the other guys in town. He makes sure that you pick what you like and never pressures you to buy the "Cadillac mattress" just to boost his bottom line. We ended up choosing a gorgeous bed and were thrilled when Jerry told us the bed was actually on sale for 50% off! Recently, we moved and needed another bed so I called Jerry. The bed we bought a few years ago had been discontinued so I needed to pick something else. Again, Jerry spent lots of time taking me around to try out various mattresses, never pressuring me or trying to upsell me. When he saw that I couldn't choose between a few models, he gave me his personal cell number so I could call with any questions. He assured me that I could always buy a bed for temporary use while I decided, and then return it for something else anytime during the first year. So, since I couldn't decide on a mattress but needed something to sleep on, I bought a very nice memory foam bed after Jerry slashed $1,000 off the price. I thought I would love the bed and was hoping I'd keep it forever, but after 6 nights I realized it was way too firm. I went back to the store and talked with Shirley, one of Jerry's longtime employees and a wonderful woman whom I'd also worked with before. Shirley is AMAZING. Shirley totally understood my situation and was so kind and helpful. She remembered me and knew I wasn't shopping with limitless funds. She took me around and I re-tried most of the mattresses. I fell in love with a PureBliss latex mattress but at $4,699, it was way out of my budget. I walked away from it and went back to the iComfort that I liked and could afford. Shirley called Jerry to ask what kind of deal he'd make for me on the iComfort, but she also talked to him about making me a deal on the PureBliss. He said he'd reduce the iComfort from $1,999 to $1,499 which I appreciated, but he knocked my socks off when he reduced the $4,699 PureBliss down to $1,999! He took $2,700 off! I simply could not refuse that offer and 23 hours later I had a gorgeous, plush, luxurious bed! Just to be clear, the bed is a floor model but it was in great shape...not a scratch or spec on it. Never in a million years did I think I'd buy a floor model but this bed is so amazing I couldn't resist it at $2,700 off retail. After it arrived, I unzipped the whole mattress cover (lots of mattresses these days are made so the quilted coverings come off to be washed), ran it through the washing machine to clean and disinfect, and it looks, smells, feels and sleeps like a brand new luxury bed. The delivery guys are very polite, on time and work quickly. Jerry and Shirley are the BEST...Shirley really works hard to get Jerry to provide the best deals and is a pleasure to work with. I was in the market for a new mattress to replace my 25+ year old Kluft mattress and bed boxspring. I did some basic Internet research and decided I wasn't going to buy the upmarket Tempur-pedic or other brand names. My research indicated that the basics of composition and construction were consistent to cross most of the products so I decided to go with a non-brand name. I established a budget for this project of $3500. I wanted to get a new bed but also I wanted to upgrade my environment for television watching since I had a severe accident two+ years ago and I'm not as active as I was, "break your neck get a new bed ". I am able to walk and get around and mostly take care of myself, so that's a blessing for which I am thankful it was also a lot of hard work. Christina was the sales lady who helped us and she was perfect for what I wanted. Information, questions answered, initial pricing. These are all areas of conversation that were easy no pressure and factual. I promised Patti I would write a review after I had my mattress for awhile. Well the time has come. I feel confident in recommending this store, the salesperson and their products. The attention we received was unsurpassed. No hastiness, such a relaxed atmosphere, we checked each mattress in our price range and a little above. We settled on the latex material. Everything I thought I knew about mattress' went out the window. I knew I didn't want chemicals in my mattress. I would not budge on that aspect of our purchase. The owner Patti also understood my concern. She assured me she has visited the factories, checked it out and owned the same mattress. She is not at all pushy, but she really knows the merchandise, warranty info and other important information needed when buying a mattress/box springs. She is also very patient and recognizes the importance of selecting what is best for each customer. I was in a pinch and needed a mattress in a hurry, before 2:00p the next day. Arrived after 4 pm to the North Naples store and was greeted by Abraham and Gary. They helped me choose the correct mattress and promised the mattress would be delivered free the following day between 10-noon. It arrived before 10:00a. I told them in the store they had saved the day and pulled me out of an extremely difficult situation and their service emphasizes that. We had such an excellent experience buying from this company. We originally purchased a mattress from the Ft. Myers location - which was great, however, the mattress turned out to be too firm and we were told to go to the Naples store to select a new mattress since that store was closer to us. We talked with Mike, who was a wealth of information, and we were able to find a great mattress. No issues, we were in and out in no time without paperwork and delays. He greeted me when I first walked into the store and showed me specifically what I needed for a mattress showing me different models of mattresses and walking me through the ins and outs of buying a mattress.
