After the sale., had issues ., service turned i to a ghost town... i finally called corporate., and they couldn't be bothered to reach out either... 8 months after purchase i finally got what i paid for ! I posted a bad review of this store and I would like to take it back I bought a new mattress and I thought it was great until it started saying in 6 months. they offered me a new one but I thought if the first one did it so would the next one. so I declined. then I decided to go to the store and talk to them. they immediately said pick a new one and we will replace it. they were very happy to do it. my new mattress will be here Saturday. We have been working with City Mattress for a few years and they are wonderful! We started noticing sagging in a pretty expensive mattress so we stopped by the store to let them know. They scheduled a tech to come to the house who confirmed what we thought. They allowed us to come into the store and choose a brand new mattress after having ours for 2 years! We worked with Mr. John Folger who is fantastic! He is so knowledgeable and informative. He really made us feel like we were making an educated decision. I cannot say enough about him! read more

I highly recommend working with City Mattress. We visited the store for our third mattress purchase and we met John Folger, the salesman who was the best at explaining the differences in the Tempur-pedic mattresses. He also took the time to look up our previous purchases. John told us our king-sized mattress was still under warranty and prior to buying another mattress we should contact the company to file a claim. We did file the claim, the company agreed to replace the mattress and they allowed us to upgrade to a split mattress as John had explained. John didn't make a sale but he did make a friend. If you are comparing mattress companies we highly recommend City Mattress and ask for my friend John. He will give you the best service and the best advice! read more

From the moment I entered City Mattress and was greeted by a warm and friendly Michele Standish, I knew I was with the right mattress store. Her smile and incredible knowledge of mattresses won me over right away. I learned so much from her about how mattresses are made and different box springs! I had shopped around and no one at other stores had the customer service attributes like Michele. After answering all my questions, I chose my purchase and I felt she was a "mattress friend" forever! I was very excited by the sale price, free delivery and very affordable disposal fee for my King-size mattress and box springs. 24 hours before delivery, I had to change the delivery day as our elevator was down. It was a "no problem" attitude. On delivery day, Cesar and Derrick were right on time! They were so kind and personable. They took off the plastic sleeves on the box springs and put them on my new ones after giving me time to vacuum where the bed had been and wipe down the baseboard. I was so happy to do that cleaning considering it was a king-size mattress set. They put my new mattress on my existing frame after assessing it did not need replaced. Then rotated the mattress on my adjustable bed for me. After they joked that they would wash my car and they'd be done! Love their sense of humor. I gave them "lunch money" and a bag of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert and sent them on their way. In this time of our lives, isn't it wonderful that someone making a delivery to your home can be kind, personal and put some humor in a customers life! So thankyou to Michele Standish, Cesar and Derrick. What a 5-Star team and an asset to City Mattress they have been. And I will always be back when in need and gladly refer my friends to Michele. Am a repeat customer to City Mattress. Was supposed to have new mattress delivered today. Received a call from the driver at 9:00 AM that it would arrive 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM. Did not happen ! At 2 PM, I called the driver and asked where it was. He said it would be 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, but would absolutely be here by 3:30 PM. At 3:30 I called the Tarpon Bay store. Joe told me he would call me right back. Did not happen ! At 3:50 I called the store again. Kim said Joe had passed me to her, she had called the warehouse manager, and they were supposed to have called me immediately. Did not happen ! Mattress finally arrived at 5 PM, over 3 hours later than the original 2 hour window. No one ever called me to explain why it was late or give me an updated delivery time. I had a great experience shopping at this city mattress with Michelle Christensen. I needed a twin mattress to put in the trundle under my two toddler boys' bunk beds and wanted the same mattress we bought two of a year ago. Michelle looked it up and gave it to me at the old price as well although the current price was $70 more. She was incredibly helpful and sweet. I was there with my two toddlers and 11 month old baby and she was patient and kind. So much so that my kids also took an immediate liking to her! The baby girl who normally is afraid of strangers wanted to jump into her arms! We are repeat customers of City Mattress and it is because we love the customer service and the mattresses are just so comfortable. We went in last week to replace our Master bedroom mattress and Michelle was great to work with. She spent quite a bit of time assisting us in finding the right mattress. We originally purchased the low profile but then decided they were too low so we called back this week and Patrick and Joe could not be more helpful.
