Noticed this new pizza spot in a quiet little plaza on my way home last month and stopped in to grab a carry-out menu. Service was friendly, and the pizza we ended up ordering later was good. They mince or chop the pepperoni and it had an overall unique flavor (maybe olive oil?). The cheese bread was great, and I enjoyed the airy crust that they use for both the pizza and bread. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu and recommend giving Naples a try!

1/2 of a large with sausage, mushrooms and green pepper. Under 16 ounces...

Interesting how 1/3 of the reviews are from out of State... I like to support local businesses, live 1/2 mile away and decided to check them out. Ordered a large pizza with sausage, mushrooms and green pepper. I arrived 10 minutes before they told me it would be ready and it was already boxed and sitting on the counter. It cost close to $25. It was barely warm when I got it home less than 5 minutes later. The toppings were very sparse and I wasn't impressed.

Sauce tastes authentic and the flour - which is imported - doesn't leave you what that heavy feeling.

Greeted warmly and seated in the bar area at a table large enough to accommodate our group. The ambiance is very laid back and televisions throughout with different programs showing, including closed captions. Riley was our server and she did an AMAZING job with our large party. She made menu recommendations and kept checking to see if we needed anything. She separated our bills and brought plenty of bags and carry out containers. Riley even was kind enough to take a group photo. The food was freshly made and there is a variety of pizzas, along with burgers, salads, sandwiches and desserts. The restaurant was busy as it was dinner time. It's clean and so are the restrooms. Decor is very on brand and includes Detroit themed sports teams and Michigan college memorabilia. Nice touch. Prices are reasonable and portions plentiful! Nice option for lunch(special menu items) or dinner with family and friends. Plenty of FREE parking!

I DON'T THINK PROMISING A…read moreGIFT CERTIFICATE THAT THEY DIDN'T DELIVER AND SAYING 'SORRY YOU'RE SICK AS A DOG' FIXES ANYTHING???? WHAT IN THE LIVING F*(&*(& IS THAT ABOUT? Went for dinner on 5/7/2026 with a friend. This is, apparently, after the place has been purchased by new owners. First of all, it took forever for the waitstaff to even come to the table and the place was not very busy. I ordered the spaghetti dinner with meat sauce and a greek salad to go with it. My friend, a thin crust pizza and cheese bread. When the salad and 'cheese bread' arrived, the first not positive change is that the cheese bread is no longer the soft bread. It is simply a regular crust pizza, minus the sauce, minus spices. So the focaccia bread with some cheese on it. And not even the good brick cheese that Buddy's used to use -- it's the cheap cheap blend purchased at Restaurant Depot. Mostly tasteless, greasy and a bizarre texture. That cheap product cheese is full of fillers and other things so it's technically a "cheese product" not actual cheese. Tastes gross and has a terrible texture. My salad was delivered with a tiny container of their dressing and I was advised it was "extra" dressing. However there was NO dressing on the salad at all and the container had barely a tablespoon of dressing. Greek salad was also VERY light on cheese, less than 1/2 what should have been there. My 'spaghetti' was delivered by another staff member -- only it was MOSTACCIOLI not spaghetti. I advised the wait staff it was not spaghetti and they told me it was and they walked away. Finally, the waiter came and I advised him the delivery staff person told me it was spaghetti and he said it was not. He took it away and brought baked spaghetti. Well at least it was spaghetti this time. Now for the not so good part. First of all, the bottom 1/3 of the spaghetti was drowning in this brown-ish muddy liquid. NOT spaghetti sauce. We literally had to drain it off on a plate, and the waiter looked at it and said "oh I'll 'tell the kitchen'". They did nothing after that. The "meat sauce" was anything but sauce. It was just chunks of some unknown very fatty meat mixed in with the spaghetti. The spaghetti was tasteless and overcooked. It was mushy as in VERY mushy. I tried to make the best of it and asked for some marinara sauce. I mixed it in and ate it and tried to avoid the fatty mystery meat in the spaghetti. Well, I am unhappy to report that I have been up since 2:00 a.m. with FOOD POISONING. It's 9 a.m. now and I feel like garbage and have made the bathroom my every 30 minute stop. How do I know it's from the Buddy's food? Because I brought home leftovers for my girlfriend and she ate the same mystery meat spaghetti and is sick too. Obviously the quality of this restaurant has gone to ZERO as far as service and most importantly, FOOD. I would HIGHLY recommend you AVOID Buddy's. While it may have a reputation, reputation doesn't prevent food poisoning, terrible food and bad service. Update -- 05/10/2026 . Well ONLY three days and I'm finally starting to feel better. Well, I suppose if you want to go on a crash diet and output food as fast as you can input it for three days, then eating here is good. Probably not smart for people with weakened or depressed immuno function. Oh and the really not-so-amusing part: I received a call from the Regional (or District) Manager from Buddy's. Who apologized for me being sick as a dog, and in the same breath said there were no problems at the restaurant and intimated it was ME who had the problem, not the restaurant. AND----- after telling him how sick I still was (on Friday) he said (paraphrasing a bit): "I'm so sorry" then offered me a gift coupon/credit to go EAT THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! Choking back the urge to vomit right there, I gave him my email and phone number AND THEY NEVER EVEN SENT THE CREDIT/COUPON Buddy's is OFF MY LIST permanently. If I want "Detroit-style" deep dish pizza, I'm headed to Loui's in Haze Park (started by the original chef of Buddy's).
