The lunch buffet at Tomatoes Apizza is exceptionally good. It's available Monday through Friday from 11 am to 2 pm (dine-in only). Included in the price of $13.99 is pizza, salad bar, pasta, garlic bread, chocolate piadina and a fountain drink (Coke products). The pizzas are fresh and delicious, and the variety of pizzas is mind boggling (see photo). I had a slice of spinach pizza and a slice of crab (yes, crab) pizza, and they were both amazing with crunchy crust fresh from the oven. The crispy cheese bread was so tasty, but I warn you, it's addictive. There was also an all-you-can-eat salad bar, filled with fresh items and a variety of wonderful dressings. I had the balsamic vinaigrette, which really hit the spot. The interior of the pizzeria was clean, warm and inviting, and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more accommodating. The place attracted a crowd of people, who obviously knew about this place before I did. Despite the onslaught of people, the staff was able to keep up with the demand. That kitchen was really humming. It was amazing to watch. So if you're looking for exceptional pizza at a great price, look no further than Tomatoes Apizza. You really won't regret it.

Large Naples Sampler

I could eat at Tomatoes everyday for the rest of my days and die a happy man. I've had the pleasure of enjoying their amazing food for years and never tire. During lunch hours, you can enjoy the buffet and get an amazing selection to sample from along with the amazing salad bar. This time, we went in the evening and still enjoyed the salad bar, but instead of the buffet, we got a pizza just for us. This was the large Naples Sampler which could easily feed 4 people was an amazing variety. Ambiance is nothing to write home about, but still well done. And the service is friendly and quick! If you're in the area, or heck, even if you're not, start driving! It's worth it!

I came to Tomatoes after a coworker told me about their lunch buffet, and at only $13.99, I had to check it out. I have to say, I wasn't disappointed! The buffet had a nice variety, though the style of pizza doesn't have a very long shelf life, so a couple slices were on the cooler side by the time I grabbed them. That being said, the salad bar was outstanding--fresh, crisp, and full of options. For dessert, the Nutella pizza was a sweet finish and definitely a highlight. Overall, it's a great value for the price, and I'll definitely be coming back.

Large pizza with pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, and basil

My brother and I agree that the pizza was 3.5 stars when we ate it fresh, but a solid 4 when we heated up the leftovers...mind-boggling, no idea how that works. We ordered a large fresh mozzarella pizza with pepperoni, which also comes with fresh basil on top. Usually it's easy to tell if something is fresh mozzarella, but I don't think I'd identify it as fresh if it weren't labeled as such - maybe it's drier than other fresh mozzarella I've had or they use a mix of fresh and bagged? No clue. The pepperoni on there were thick and tasty. The crust was thinner than normal pizzas, but not "thin crust" thin. It had a good texture to it. It was definitely pricey at $30, but it was enough for my brother and I to have a bunch for lunch, plus another meal each. The pizza boxes advertise review snippets from food publications saying "best pizza in Michigan" or "top 5 pizzerias". I wouldn't agree with those assessments, but it was for sure tasty.

Could not be any better. Mindy my server was so nice and professional. Great salad bar too. Had the 4 topping combo and it was phenomenal !! Nice char on crust and cooked PERFECTLY!! New Haven style and was great. Service was what it made it a great experience. Can't tell you how much Mindy made the experience better. A professional server. Thanks so much. I'll be back when I am in Pontiac. Place was very clean too.

Amazing, flavorful, thin and crispy pizza! I love a classic cheese pizza here but when I want a little bit of everything, the Naples sampler is the way to go! Service is great and everyone is always so friendly. For dessert, the Nutella pizza is so yummy and a must try for Nutella lovers! 100% recommend coming here, one of my favorite pizza spots!

Sampler pizza

Tomatoes Apizza is a thin crust style pizza. This is my preferred style of pizza. I like the cheese and pepperoni Tomatoes uses. We usually get the sampler pizza which has four different types of pizza in one. The atmosphere is family. Service is friendly. Sometimes this place is jammed. Since Covid the dining room has been much less so.

Fire brick oven over charcoal has won many awards and a very good variety of pizzas.

Awesome pizza. It's one of the best pizzas in Michigan. I could eat this weekly and not get tired of eating it.

The regular place has no seating except benches to wait for your food, but you can go to the Gift of India Cafe two doors down and there is seating there. There are non-vegetarian, vegetarian, and I believe there are also vegan options per the sign on their door. The pizza option comes in two sizes: medium and large. I don't believe they have a 'personal' size and are not by the slice either. The large is HUGE, I recommend getting half and half of flavors to try them. The dough is soft, not too thick and not too thin, and they will ask if you want their spicy and green sauces with cilantro on top. I recommend it for flavor and aesthetic purposes! We got the chicken tikka and chicken 65 for our half and half large pizza. We also wanted a vegetarian option and thus opted for the Paneer tikka wrap/ rolls. The rolls can come as 2 rolls per order. The rolls are also packed with product and flavor, and they are wrapped with paratha which was buttery and held itself up well. The pizza was everything and more! The cafe area was not busy when we came and had a good amount of seating in it. The cafe area is clean and has a little mural wall featuring Indian food staples on it. There are both high and regular height chairs/ tables to sit in.

My favorite was the chicken wrap, especially alongside the pani puri. We also got a lamb bowl, it was decent, just not my favorite flavor-wise, but still good if you enjoy lamb. They were out of chicken masala, which I definitely want to come back and try. Only one gal was working, had lots of orders coming in but she was nice. Inside, there wasn't a sitting area or tables, but we got it togo so wasn't a big deal for us. Prices weren't too bad, but I've had better overall. I'd rate it a 3.5/5.

The onions were very finely chopped and added zero texture and taste - would not order onions again. The pizza arrived very well done. Not overcooked, but damn close. The front counter dispenser was almost empty and the few napkins remaining were loaded backwards, requiring me to dig them out in a clump larger than I needed. It was never corrected and neither was refilled while we ate. The WiFi is free and fast and the network password is prominently posted. IIRC: bestpizza Will I return? Yabbut, my wife prefers Jets. On a Saturday evening my friends and I came here with the kids for a birthday pizza dinner. The…read morerestaurant is inside the Marriott hotel and pretty easy to find. The inside of the restaurant was nicely decorated, even though parts of the floor was sticky. Fortunately it wasn't very busy at all. There was only one other table seated at that time. We sat down and everybody ordered their drinks and food. Although our waitress was nice and accommodating, it took an extremely long time for the food to come out, so not sure what the hold up was in the kitchen. The pizzas eventually came out but the burgers didn't come out until at least 15 minutes later. After everybody got their food that's when I decided to order the wings appetizer for myself. Soon as I ordered, that's when I started noticing some interesting things. More people were walking in and sitting at tables YET there was still only ONE waitress! She was taking orders and bartending behind the bar! Our table alone had 10 people. At this point there were at least 3 other tables with varies party sizes as well as 2 people sitting at the bar. She was trying to move as quickly as possible but she was only one person. Not sure how yall do staffing but she needed help! Then suddenly towards the end of our table finishing their food, I see two more employees magically pop up. Not sure if they were in the back cooking or what. One started helping out at the bar and bringing out boxes of pizza. The other disappeared back in the kitchen. Mind you, it had been over 45 minutes and I still hadn't receive my wings. Everybody was boxing up the remainder of their food. The waitress apologized, took the wings off the bill, and gave me a large amount of wings in a to go container. Even though I was very hungry, I appreciated the compensation. Uno in Farmington Hills needs to do SIGNIFICANTLY better with the quantity of their staffing! It definitely took a toll on our visit and made it less enjoyable.

The server and ambiance were so nice. But, the food is so disgusting. The burger was flavorless,…read morethe deep dish pizza was raw (and also flavorless). The fish and chips were mostly chips and the two pieces of fish were mostly batter and hardly any fish. The best items were the nachos and cheese sticks appetizers, which weren't that great compared to other sit-down restaurants. What's even more unfortunate is that this place has the potential to be so much better than what it is. I remember Uno Pizzeria & Grill of the past and this is nothing like what it used to be. I won't be returning.
