I stumbled upon this place while heading to dinner at Fishermen's Village. I'm a sucker for all things beauty and bath related, so as we were all walking by, I insisted to drop in. Immediately we were greeted by a sweet and informative lady who gave me a synopsis about the bar soap shampoo. They carry a massive selection of it too. But the last time I tried them from a different place, I didn't like them. With such a wide selection, they must be doing something different here. My favorite thing to try from a place like this is bath bombs. I've tried them from at least a dozen different companies and I must say, I'm quite picky about them. They can't be too oily and must have enough fragrance that says on you, even after your at home spa treatment. They sell 4 for $20 and you get a barrel to take them home in. Worth. Every. Dollar. The best bath bombs I've ever tried in my life. I can't wait to go back and try the other products and stock up on the amazing bath bombs. read more

I have always loved Naples Soap Company and their products so I was very disappointed with my recent purchase. The Punta Gorda store was lovely and the staff were helpful and pleasant. My complaint is solely with the products. The company has gotten cheap with the scents because there was none. The Shower Bombs were the most disappointing. They are suppose to be aromatherapy and emit aromas in the shower. All they did was create a goo that left stains on my tub. I definitely will not purchase anything from Naples Soap Company in the future. read more

Discovered their Naples store while visiting town. Pleased with the selection of products & testers. Bought shampoo & conditioner bars which I adore - I really love the rich lather from the shampoo. Makes my hair soft & clean & I really appreciate not needing plastic bottles which helps with pollution. Found out they have a store near me in Punta Gorda so I'll be back. read more

I have had great luck with Naples Soap Co. products. They are amazing. I personally use their lotion and it is rich and creamy. I know it does wonders for the skin and that says a lot as I am a doctor that runs a chiropractic wellness center that works with patients on skin rejuvenation through diet and red light methods. read more

I stopped in to avoid picking up drugstore lotion while on vacation. I was interested in their unscented body lotion which is very pleasant. My only strong negative was the woman working there which kept trying and trying to " educate" me about the products. I kept saying no thank you and smiling - I found the persistent sales push difficult and a little harassing. At the register then came the push for the loyalty club or what actually means is emails coming too often. I left with unscented moisture stick and body cream. Good products. I will buy online next year and suggest the same to others. FYI - like many stores with small beauty items, this is NOT a place for children to touch things. read more

I stopped in to check out their products when our day got rained out in Puerta Gorda. There were 2 young ladies working that day. The one behind the cash register was very friendly, greeted me and offered assistance if I need any. The store smelled great (as one can expect from a soap company). Clean display. Soaps are not cheap, $7.50-8.50 a bar in general. I was most intrigued by the shampoo & conditioner bars and the loofa soap. I ended up buying a bar of the loofa soap (mango smell) for my friend. Their products are marketed as natural. Their non-scented items supposedly are good for people who have skin conditions such as eczema & psoriasis. My personal experience was a great one. And by posting a picture on my Facebook picture noting the store, I was given a small bath salt ball as a gift. read more

The customer service at this company is terrible. The employees at the Perwinkle Place store assured me that the $70.00 of product that I purchased were FTA approved and would pass through the gate security. WRONG!!! All of the product was confiscated and thrown into the trash bin. I reached out to the companies customer service and they said they would replace my products by mailing them to me. IT HAS BEEN 6 MONTHS , TWO ADDITIONAL PHONE CALLS TO THEM, AND STILL NO REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS. read more

Very disappointing...I ordered body lotions and soaps to give as a gift online. I paid $5 extra for gift wrapping. What came was a cellophane bag with my items in it and a bread bag twister with a cheap bow on it. I reached out to the company and still waiting to hear back. I could buy something at bed bath beyond at 1/3 the price and it would look more high end. This company thinks they are all that!! But they are not!! Overpriced and bad customer service. read more

Be cautious about the ingredients used in these products if you have sensitive skin especially the ones that are unpackaged without an ingredient list as the employees are obviously not trained to properly guide someone through their purchases. At the tin city location, I was told the products were scented with essential oils which is false! This caused me to have a severe reaction to their product. Also, I am now stuck with a plethora of product unusable to me. Upon research, even some of their unscented products marketed to those with eczema have "fragrance." I do not recommend these products for people who are intentional about skin care. These products also aren't as local as they appear nor are they exactly hand made. read more

I stumbled on this store and browsed but then the bars of shampoo and conditioner caught my eye. I love my earth and the thought of me buying bottles upon bottles of shampoo and conditioner is sickening to me. I bought a bar of the shampoo and conditioner and the smell was amazing but so was the feel of my hair! And I've received awesome compliments too. I bought the conditioner in December of 2016 and just now in Sept 2017 finished the bar. The shampoo bar doesn't last as long but it still lasted about 3 months so I went online and bought 6 more bars. I don't think I will ever go back to bottled shampoo and conditioner again. Also - reading the reviews - if you're writing a bad review about the company not accepting higher bills, get over yourself. Write about the products. And it's been 16 years since 9/11, if you don't know that you can't bring more than 3oz liquids on a plane, then I don't really want your opinion anyhow! read more

This store was very nice and they had good products. However there was a lady who worked there and she was rude. She yelled at a 7 year old boy for smelling the bath bombs saying "if your not gonna buy one then don't touch them". Then I went to go try a scrub near the sink and she came over telling me "I only need a dime amount" which I had. Then she went on a rant about how wasteful I am for using her lotion then just washing it off with her scrub. I didn't appreciate her rudeness and will never buy anything from her. If she can't cope with people using her products then she shouldn't have that job. read more

Very upset that I can no longer patronize this company because they have a real "take it or leave it" ZERO customer service attitude ~ they don't stand by their products and to top it all off, have some pretty snarky store employees who should have remained in retirement instead of re-entering the work force to "keep busy". I walked into the Punta Gorda store today with a 9 oz jar of body butter that wasn't even 1/2 way empty, that had turned so grossly rancid, I just could not use the remaining more than 1/2 jar. I explained to the clerk that I had always kept the additional cover over the product so as not to let too much air into it as well as religiously using a wooden stick to get the product out each time I used it instead of my hands but that it had turned rancid. THE FIRST thing this snobby clerk literally barked at me was "WELL IT"S OLD. THAT JAR IS FROM LAST FEBRUARY. WE NO LONGER SELL THAT FOR $28 IN THAT SIZE, WE CHARGE $32 FOR IT NOW"....Ok, take a breath lady, I am not interested in your markup, nor your barking at me...I have more than a 1/2 jar that I can't use because it would take the average person 3 years to use up a 9oz jar of their body butter due to the fact that the smallest amount goes such a long long way (one of the reasons I have purchased the product more than once ) She called several people, each time telling me that she didn't know what she could do, that after 30 days and IF THE PRODUCT WAS OPENED to begin with, she knew Naples Soap company would not give me a refund. I explained that I didn't want a refund, I wanted a replacement, that the product was an integral part of my skin care....I walked around the store while she was on the phone, and noticed they now manufacture 3 oz ,travel sized jars. When she was off the phone I mentioned how the last 2 years, each and every time I was in the store (average of once a month) that I had mentioned to employees it would be helpful to tell corporate that such a size was needed seeing as I was always having to ship it to myself whenever I didn't check luggage. Her reply was even more snarky, even more crummy....basically she laughed at me and told me "5,0000 customers besides you said the same thing, it wasn't YOUR idea". REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY lady????? Well I'll tell you what, you can keep my $14 + worth of rancid body butter and no worries, I won't take credit for your company finally getting with the times to offer a travel size ~ but I will post how it's not worth anyone's $32 for a jar of stuff that turns the most gross smelling JUNK before you even have a chance to use it. Poor return policy - paid too much for a 4.5 oz bar of soap ! After finding a much nicer larger handmade bar for half the price tried to return the next day. Missed the posted sign - should have the policy on the receipt! Overall I don't do business with companies that have poor customer service! Even make-up can be returned if customer isn't satisfied! I have used Naples Soap Co. products for seven years and I love their products. I order them online from CT and buy them when I am in Florida each year. I buy a 6 month supply at a time. I have allergies to many high end expensive and well know popular cosmetics and skin care products "one example is Clinique" . I have difficulty finding products that are natural and work well. This company is fabulous. They have many excellent products. Some of my favorites are: The face cream, it is one of the best I have found. The unscented line of sea salt soap and body cream are also items I buy in bulk because I can not get enough of them. I also love the honey almond soap. I do recommend you keep the soap on a soap pad that allows it to drain because the soap is natural and prob to melting if left in a puddle of water in the shower. Love these products and do not know what I would do with out them. Also compared to Products like Clinique these products are far more affordable. I highly recommend trying this companies products. read more

I purchased the deodorant and was not happy with it. It did not glide on well and really pulls on my underarm skin. The fragrance is nice but it does nothing to stop perspiration. I did not like the bar shampoo and conditioner either. My hair was flat and "fly away" after use. I liked the body butter but for $28.00 I expected to be wowed, but I wasn't. The young woman in the store at the time was friendly and enthusiastic. Went to Fisherman's Village during the evening and selected some soap. We waited at the service counter for at least 10 minutes while the two customer service employees on the other side of the counter assisted another customer, apparently it was so important that both sales people were required. We were ignored completely, a simple, "I'll be with you shortly" was all that was required. Frustrated that our presence was not acknowledged, we replaced the soap on the shelves and walked out. We have been there many times and have always received good customer service. read more

Why do the shampoo and conditioner bars have yellow 5 blue 1 red 33 and 40 if they are advertising all natural products? I've heard these color agents are toxic and would like some feedback to the contrary since I purchased a couple before checking out the website. It was our family's first time in the store and we were in love with the products and scents but why we left and bought nothing? The employee working was soo nasty to us and monitoring every move we made. Yelled at my son and sister about how much sampler to use for the salt scrubs before they even opened anything, yet didn't say anything to the gentleman using before them. Came up to us as we were exploring and said "Okay, you've tried everything in the store now what are you going to buy?" after we denied her "help". After we explained we're still looking her response was "well you're just dipping in everything." They have samplers for almost every product so we were sampling like everyone else was in the store but I guess our appearance or lack of melanin was a cause for concern. I know what racial profiling is, I'm not surprised in this area but it doesn't make me any less upset to be treated unlike the other customers in the store who were all caucasian. She was also as "attentive" to the Hispanic couple who were looking to really confirm what I felt was true. read more

I got money for Christmas to buy some things from Naples soap while I was visiting Florida and was very disappointed to find out they don't accept 50 or 100 dollar bills. I really think a store that charges almost $30 for a body lotion should accept all currency. Make sure you have small bills before you go. read more

At first I was apprehensive at using bar soap on my hair (I have very long and thick hair that gets oily if I don't wash it everyday) but I took the leap of faith and decided to try the almond coconut shampoo and conditioner bars. This was the best decision I have ever made. The soaps lather nicely and give my hair such shine that I don't even get from high end salon products. I no longer need to wash my hair everyday. I was trying to write a review on naplessoap.com, but I couldn't, so I'm writing one here. My mom has been dealing with psoriasis symptoms as long as I can remember. I have watched her try every medicine and "gimmick" offered to psoriasis patients. Some products gave her relief in the beginning, but then ultimately failed or worse, backfired. Others just never worked. It had been over 6 months since my mom first started using the unscented body butter, shampoo and conditioner bars from Naples Soap Company, and her skin is finally getting consistent relief. I am not saying that these products have cured the psoriasis; please, don't misunderstand me. However, these products help give the symptoms on her scalp and elbows relief. Her skin is actually looking healthier and the bright redness has calmed down. When she has the urge to itch her skin, she applies the body butter, which she loves. And, the shampoo and conditioner bars make her hair soft. :-) I am happy to see her happy. Actually, I myself have started using the moroccan oil shampoo and conditioner bars, and now they are my favorite hair products. I refuse to go back to my old shampoo/conditioner.
